RESUMEN

The backward Lagrangian stochastic dispersion model in conjunction with open-path tunable diode absorption spectroscopy was used to quantify ammonia emissions from farmland based on the high-temporal resolution data, aiming to provide innovative achievements to diagnose patterns of ammonia flux. The results indicate that the bLS dispersion technique using open-path lasers to measure atmospheric ammonia concentrations is suitable for determining ammonia emissions from farmland continuously, especially for characterizing diurnal characteristics of NH3 emissions. The ammonia emissions have a significant diurnal pattern with two emission peaks from urea applied to maize on a calcareous sandy loam fluvo-aquic soil in the North China Plain. We believe that the first peak starting at approximately 9:00 am is due to NH3 absorbed by the dew re-emission at night as the dew evaporates. The maximum of ammonia flux at 14:00 corresponds to the peak of soil temperature and solar radiation. The ammonia emission increased rapidly, but the duration of emission peaks lasted approximately 4 d. Cumulative NH3 emission was 25.3% of the applied N over the entire measurement period. The NH3 emissions measured with bLS dispersion technique and venting method had certain difference.

RESUMEN

Infrared photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) is a new style to obtain data based on photoacoustic theory. Photoacoustic thoeory is based on the absorption of electromagnetic radiation by analyte molecules, and the absorbed energy is measured by detecting pressure fluctuations in the form of sound waves or shock pulses. In contrast to conventional absorption spectroscopy, PAS allows the determination of absorption coefficients over several orders of magnitude, even in very black and strongly scattering soil samples. Red soil, fulvic soil and paddy soil were collected from Fengqiu National Ecological Experimental Station, Yingtan Red Soil Experimental Station, and Changshu Ecological Experimental Station, respectively. These soil samples were used as experimental materials to characterize the Fourier transform mid-infrared photoacoustic spectra (FTIR-PAS). Compared with infrared transmittance spectra and reflectance spectra, the testing of FTIR-PAS spectra was very fast and convenient without any pr-treatment, and there were more abundant absorptions as well as appropriate absorption values in the spectra; The main soil components (kaolin, bentonite, sand and CaCO3) also showed several strong absorptions with specific characteristics in the spectra; Further more, the interference of water with the PAS spectra was significantly smaller than that with reflectance spectra. Therefore, the soil properties could be better characterized by FTIR-PAS. The principal components analysis based on the FTIR-PAS spectra indicated that there were two main principal components (PCA1, PCA2) which contained 98.17% variance of the spectra, and the two-dimensionol distribution was made by plotting these two principal components to classify the soil type, and the results indicated that this distribution could be applied to distinguish soil type, which provided new technique for soil identification as well as further quantitative analysis in soil science.

RESUMEN

The development courses of acupuncture and moxibustion as well as the present situation, education and legislation in Portugal were reviewed in this article. Acupuncture and Moxibustion has been developed in Portugal since 1980's. The first acupuncture school appeared in the year of 1992. Until now, courses on Chinese medicine and acupuncture has already been set up in about six universities. Acupuncture legislation started in the year 2003. At present, professional levels of acupuncture practitioners vary a lot. There are over 50 indications currently. And acupuncture treatment is basically at one's own expense.

RESUMEN

Through retrieving of literature relevant to LIU Zhang-jie, his practicing and teaching experience in Quanzhou city are investigated, and his modern education thoughts are summarized in this article as well. It is found that LIU attached great importance on both apprenticeship and classroom teaching; he highlighted the theory of meridians and the classic of Treaties on Febrile Diseases; recommending selection of less points, and focusing on finger force during practice, he prefered to combine acupuncture with materia medica. He was practical and realistic, and never hide his mistakes. He also brought along and passed his ideas of acupuncture teach to his students. The medical ethic of SUN Si-miao was the one he advocated. He also spared no effort to write books and teach materials which played important roles in the spread of Chengjiang Acupuncture School.

RESUMEN

Soil water drainage and nitrogen leaching in Tianranwenyanqu Basin was simulated using DNDC model. The model was validated by data of the water and nitrogen controlling experiment in the basin. The correlation coefficients between simulated and measured values of daily 1 m soil water storage, lower boundary NO3(-) -N concentration, soil water drainage and nitrogen leaching were 0.94 (n = 40), 0.66 (n = 49), 0.89 (n =40), 0.94 (n = 39); and RMSEs were 15.66 mm, 2.66 mg x kg(-1), 9.00 mm, 0.94 kg x hm(-2), respectively. The validated model was then used to simulate soil water drainage and nitrogen leaching in the basin. The results show that, under multi-year average climate and conventional management condition, annual soil water drainage and nitrogen leaching of winter-wheat and summer-corn rotation fields in this basin were 220-327 mm and 73.1-100.6 kg x hm(-2), respectively. The distribution of water drainage and nitrogen leaching were uneven in time and space, leaching happened mainly after fertilization, irrigation or heavy rainfall, and sandy soil regions were the most serious nitrogen leaching area. Unreasonable irrigation, fertilization and poor water and fertilizer preserving capability of the soils, were the major causes of soil water drainage and nitrogen leaching.

RESUMEN

An investigation was made on the abundance and diversity of soil fauna in the corn fields under conventional and conservation tillage in Huang-Huai-Hai Plain of China. The abundance and diversity of soil fauna were higher at corn maturing (September) than at its jointing stage (July), and higher at jointing stage under conservation tillage than under conventional tillage. Soil fauna mainly distributed in surface soil layer (0-10 cm), but still had a larger number in 10-20 cm layer under conservation tillage. The individuals of acari, diptera, diplura, and microdrile oligochaetes, especially those of acari, were higher under conservation tillage than under conventional tillage. At maturing stage, an obvious effect of straw-returning under conservation tillage was observed, i. e., the more the straw returned, the higher the abundance of soil fauna, among which, the individuals of collembola, acari, coleopteran, and psocoptera, especially those of collembolan, increased significantly. The abundance of collembola at both jointing and maturing stages was significantly positively correlated with the quantity of straw returned, suggesting that collembola played an important role in straw decomposition and nutrient cycling.
