Introdução:
A presente
revisão objetivou analisar
fatores de risco para
infecção por
sífilis em
mulheres apontados na
literatura científica.
Desenvolvimento revisão integrativa da
literatura que possui como questão de
pesquisa "Quais os
fatores de risco para
sífilis em
mulheres?". Esse estudo foi realizado nas seguintes
bases de dados Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO),
Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (
LILACS); Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievial System Online (
MEDLINE) e Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. Foram considerados os estudos do tipo artigos, em português ou inglês, disponibilizados na íntegra e publicados entre os anos de 2013 e 2017. Foram selecionados 17 artigos para
análise e discussão. Após
análise temática, emergiram cinco categorias temáticas que apresentam
fatores de risco para
sífilis em
mulheres fatores anatômicos e fisiológicos,
vulnerabilidade social,
questões de gênero, desconhecimento sobre a
doença e lacunas no acesso pleno aos
serviços de saúde.
Conclusão:
É imprescindível que sejam intensificadas as abordagens do tipo orientações sobre
direitos sexuais e reprodutivos e ações de
empoderamento, do ponto de vista
político e social com a
população feminina.
Introduction:
The present
review aimed to analyze
risk factors for
syphilis infection in
women. Development an integrative
review of the
literature with the following
research question "How are the
risk factors for
syphilis described in
women?". This study was carried out in the following databases Scientific
Electronic Library Online (SCIELO),
Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (
LILACS);
Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (
MEDLINE) and Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. The article-type studies, in Portuguese or English, were fully available and published between the years of 2013 and 2017. Seventeen
papers were selected for
analysis and discussion. The studies evidenced five thematic categories of
risk factors for
syphilis in
women anatomical and physiological
factors, social vulnerability,
gender issues, lack of
knowledge about the
disease and gaps in full
access to health services.
Conclusion:
It is imperative that
sexual orientation and reproductive approaches and political and social
empowerment actions be intensified with the
female population.
