RESUMO
INTRODUCTION: Current medicine tends to dehumanize the end of life process, which contributes to generate certain ethical conflict to nurse staff MATERIAL AND METHOD: The major scientific datadas research. RESULTS: The four main ethical conflicts detected are: decisions making, communicating information, futile treatments and hydration and artificial feeding. DISCUSSION: The nurses suffer moral distress with ethical conflicts by the obligation of safeguard the dignity and rights of their patients. CONCLUSIONS: The lack of training and experience to treat ethical problems contribute to increase nurse disconfort.
