RESUMO
Anticonvulsants are not acceptable in the treatment of migraine, but there is a place for them in the treatment of central and autonomic disturbances like hyperosmia, osmophobia and leg pains that occur in the intercritical period and even during the attack itself. The role of phenytoin in small doses is emphasized.
