RESUMO

The problem of global expansion of multidrug-resistant nosocomial infections pathogens is under special attention at the moment. Antibiotic resistance increasing give us the limited treatment options. This problem is particularly acute for transplant clinics, because of patients need lifelong immunosuppressive therapy. From the one hand this ensures stable allograft functioning, but from the other increases the risk of severe infectious complications in the postoperative period. The purpose of this article is analysis carbapenem resistance dynamics of Klebsiella spp., Acinetobacter spp., Pseudomonas spp. and Staphylococcus spp. isolated from the blood of recipients of donor organs from 2009 to 2019 in the Shumakov National Medical Research Center of Transplantology and Artificial Organs. A significant annual decrease of carbapenem-sensitive strains of Klebsiella spp. and Acinetobacter spp. are shown. The study of a distinctive pathogen resistance profile specific to each institution can help one in selecting an adequate antimicrobial strategy and is an effective predictive tool for controlling the growth of multidrug-resistant microorganisms.

RESUMO

Probiotic strain Bacillus subtilis 534 is the base of sporobacterin, a pharmaceutical. In submerged culture it showed antibiotic activity against many of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and fungi. The spectrum of the antimicrobial activity of the culture fluid depended on the.cultivation time and aeration intensity. It was shown that component No. 1 of the antibiotic complex was effective against clinical isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii: 20 out of 24 isolates were susceptible to component No. 1, including 15 strains out of 16 panresistant isolates.

RESUMO

Analysis of the results of a bacteriological study involving 218 patients with various forms of chronic tonsillitis (CT) has demonstrated that they were significantly different in terms of the seeding rate of beta-hemolytic group A Streptococci (BHAS). Specifically, these microorganisms were detected in patients with paratonsillar abscess 2.5 times as frequently as in those with uncomplicated forms of chronic tonsilitis. In other words, the former group is at risk of developing such concomitant diseases as post-streptococcal rheumocarditis, glomerulonephritis, and polyarthritis. It was shown that BHAS are capable of forming a biological film at the surface of abiogenic carriers in vitro which may be a principal cause of chronic and recurring tonsillitis.

RESUMO

Results of analysis of the case history patients that died from complications of pyo-inflammatory diseases of ear, nose, and throat in multifield hospitals of Moscow during the last 10 years are presented. Data of microbiological studies for the entire period of each patient's stay in the hospitals are extracted They indicate that bacteriological studies are not prescribed as frequently as needed. As a rule, seeding is conducted after a patient is transferred to the intensive therapy department in 16 or more days following admission to the hospital. The materials seeded are largely biological fluids rather than pathological excreta from primary inflammatory foci.
