RESUMO

Widely acknowledged that the capacity of Li-O2 batteries (LOBs) should be strongly determined by growth behaviors of the discharge product of lithium peroxide (Li2O2) that follows both coexisting surface and solution pathways. However until now, it remains still challenging to achieve dynamic modulation on Li2O2 morphologies. Herein, the photo-responsive Au nanoparticles (NPs) supported on reduced oxide graphene (Au/rGO) have been utilized as cathode to manipulate oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) kinetics by aid of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) effects. Thus, we can experimentally reveal the importance of matching ORR kinetics with Li+ migration towards battery performance. Moreover, it is found that Li+ concentration polarization caused "sudden death" of LOBs is supposed to be just a form of suspended animation that could timely recover under irradiation. This work provides us an in-depth explanation on the working mechanism of LOBs from a kinetic perspective, offering valuable insights for the future battery design.

N enriched microporous active carbons (CACs) were successfully obtained with coffee grounds as precursor and KOH as activator, which were used for the capture and conversion of CO2 from post-combustion. The influence of preparation parameters, such as the temperature of activation and KOH/carbon ratio on textural properties of CACs were studied. N2 adsorption-desorption, XRD, Raman, SEM and XPS were used for characterization of the CACs. The adsorption capacities of CO2 CACs-2-800 are 6.22 mmol·g-1 (1 bar) and 2.37 mmol·g-1 (0.15 bar) at 273 K. CACs-2-800 also have high selectivity of CO2/N2 (SCO2/N2 = 33) and good adsorption-desorption recycle stability. Furthermore, the CACs-2-800 showed high catalytic activity for the cycloaddition of CO2 to epichlorohydrin. The good CO2 adsorption capacity, selectivity and catalytic performance indicated that CACs-2-800 could be used for the capture and conversion of CO2 from post-combustion.

RESUMO

Supramolecular aggregation-induced emission (AIE) has become a research hotspot in cell imaging. Herein, supramolecular assembly with AIE effect was constructed in two stages, where adamantane modified tetraphenylethene self-assembly emitted weak fluorescence, and then after adding ß-cyclodextrin modified hyaluronic acid, the formed nanoparticles enhanced AIE fluorescence for targeted cancer cell imaging.
