Objective: To investigate the relationship between the incidence of daytime urinary incontinence(DUI)and the usage of diapers. Methods: The stratified sampling method was used to investigate the relationship between the incidence of DUI and the usage of diapers on children from 3 to 10 years old from 30 kindergarten and primary schools in Henan Province, China. The survey was carried out in the way of anonymous questionnaire. Results: A total of 8 560 qualified questionnaires(96.2%) were collected and used for statistical analysis. The overall incidence of DUI was 3.52%. With the age increasing, the incidence of DUI was decreased(χ(2)(trend)=75.690, P<0.001) from 6.06% for 3 years old children to 1.82% for 10 years old children. With the time of usage diapers increased, the rate of urination training was significantly reduced(χ(2)(trend)=84.260, P<0.001), and the incidence of DUI was significantly increased(χ(2)(trend)=18.824, P<0.001). With the increase of using diapers, the incidence of DUI increased (χ(2)(trend)=9.234, P<0.01). With the delay of the starting time of urination training, the incidence of DUI was increasing( χ(2)(trend)=9.775, P<0.01). Logistic regression analysis showed that the increase of time of using diapers(OR=1.017, 95% CI: 1.006-1.027, P<0.01)and the increase of frequency of using diapers(OR=1.290, 95% CI: 1.002-1.025, P<0.05)contribute to DUI significantly. Urination training starts from 0 to 6 months was a protective factor against DUI(OR=0.529, 95% CI: 0.345-0.811, P<0.01). Conclusions: The usage of diapers is the risk factor of DUI. It's better to start urination training earlier to help reduce the incidence of DUI in children.

In recent years, the tumor-stroma ratio (TSR) has attracted increasing attention as an independent prognostic factor for several solid tumors. However, the importance of the stromal compartment has not been investigated yet in gallbladder cancer (GBC). The objective of this study is to investigate the prognostic value of TSR in GBC and the relationship between TSR and other known prognostic parameters. A total of 51 patients who underwent operations for gallbladder carcinoma were selected for this study. TSR was determined on haematoxylin and eosin (H et E)-stained sections by two independent investigators. Stromal ratio groups were classified as stroma-poor (ratio of stroma 50%). The Mann-Whitney test, the Chi-squared test, the Kaplan-Meier method, and the Cox proportional hazards model were used to analyze the data. The median survival time for patients in the stroma-rich group was 6.00 months (95% CI, 4.47-7.54). In contrast, for the stroma-poor group, the median survival time was 17.00 months (95% CI, 3.64-30.36). The 3-year overall survival rate was 19.7% in the stroma-poor group and 7.2% in the stroma-rich group. Patients with stroma-rich tumors had a worse prognosis than those with stroma-poor tumors (log-rank P = 0.004). According to the univariate analysis, the TSR, differentiation grade, pTNM stage, and operative methods were shown to be related to overall survival (OS) with statistical significance. The hazard ratio (HR) of TSR was 2.428 (95% CI, 1.29-4.58; P = 0.006). However, the TSR did not prove to be an independent prognostic factor in the multivariate analysis. Our study demonstrated that the tumor-stroma ratio (TSR) is an important prognostic parameter for gallbladder cancer (GBC). Stroma-rich tumors were associated with poor overall survival.

Objective: To study the genomic sequence of Coxsackievirus A8 (CV-A8) associated with hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) from 2013 to 2018 in China and to analyze the genetic evolution of each coding region of the full-length genome. Methods: The genome sequences of 11 CV-A8 strains isolated from patients with HFMD in different regions of China from 2013 to 2018 were determined. Sequence alignment and genetic evolution analysis were performed by Sequencher 5.0 and MEGA 7.0 software, etc. Results: Sequence alignment showed that the genome length of 11 CV-A8 strains ranged from 7 393 bp to 7 400 bp. There was no base insertion or deletion in the coding region compared with the prototype strain, but there were individual base insertion or deletion in the non-coding region. The nucleotide and amino acid similarities in the VP1 region of 11 CV-A8 strains were 78.3%-98.6% and 92.6%-99.7%, respectively, and the nucleotide and amino acid sequences identities with the CV-A8 prototype strain were 78.3%-98.2% and 92.6%-99.7%, respectively. Based on the phylogenetic analysis of VP1 region sequences, the CV-A8 can be divided into five genotypes: A, B, C, D and E. The 11 CV-A8 strains in this study belonged to genotypes C (1 strain), D (2 strains) and E (8 strains). The nucleotide and amino acid similarities of 11 CV-A8 full-length genomes were 81.3%-98.8% and 95.9%-99.5%, respectively. The phylogenetic tree of the P2 region showed that the eight E genotypes CV-A8 had the closest evolutionary distance with CV-A4, CV-A14, and CV-A16. The phylogenetic tree of the P3 region showed that the eight E genotypes CV-A8 had a close evolutionary distance with CV-A5, CV-A16, CV-A14 and CV-A4. Conclusions: The 11 CV-A8 stains in this study showed significant intra-genotype diversity in capsid region and recombinant diversity in non-capsid region which indicated that CV-A8 quasispecies were still undergoing dynamics variation. CV-A8 may become an important pathogen of HFMD and the monitoring of CV-A8 needs to be further strengthened.

The series of 412 consecutive PC IOL implantations comprised 337 eyes of senile cataract, 16 eyes of membranous cataract, 25 eyes of traumatic cataract, 13 eyes of congenital cataract, 10 eyes of complicated cataract and 11 eyes of aphakia. 362 eyes were postoperatively followed up from 4 weeks to 1 1/2 years with the results that 251 (69.3%) eyes obtained visual acuities of 0.8 or over, and 328 (90.6%) eyes 0.5 or over. The authors discussed the technical improvement in anterior capsulotomy and the implantation procedures in cases of posterior capsule rupture. The importance of postoperative control and management of astigmatism, in the recovery of visual acuity was pointed out.

A host-plasmid balancing system composed with a delta asd mutant (FaD) of an avirulent strain (T32) of Shigella flexneri 2a and plasmid harboring asd gene was used to express enterotoxigenic E. coli surface antigen 6(CS6) and V. cholerae toxin subunit B (CTB). The results of Western blotting and ELISA showed that all of recombinant plasmids (pYX201, pYX202 and pYX203) could be maintained stably and expressed CS6 and CTB respectively in T32 without any antibiotic selection. All the recombinant bacterial strains could elicit the corresponding antibodies in rabbits. The antibodies against CTB elicited by both FaD/pYX201 and FaD/pYX203 showed to be high level, and had long prolongation time, in otherwise, the antibodies against CS6 showed to be low level, indicating that higher expression level of foreign antigen may be benefit for construction of genetic multivalent vaccine.
