RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Accurate microsatellite instability (MSI) testing is essential for identifying gastric cancer (GC) patients eligible for immunotherapy. We aimed to develop and validate a CT-based radiomics signature to predict MSI and immunotherapy outcomes in GC. METHODS: This retrospective multicohort study included a total of 457 GC patients from two independent medical centers in China and The Cancer Imaging Archive (TCIA) databases. The primary cohort (n = 201, center 1, 2017-2022), was used for signature development via Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO) and logistic regression analysis. Two independent immunotherapy cohorts, one from center 1 (n = 184, 2018-2021) and another from center 2 (n = 43, 2020-2021), were utilized to assess the signature's association with immunotherapy response and survival. Diagnostic efficiency was evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), and survival outcomes were analyzed via the Kaplan-Meier method. The TCIA cohort (n = 29) was included to evaluate the immune infiltration landscape of the radiomics signature subgroups using both CT images and mRNA sequencing data. RESULTS: Nine radiomics features were identified for signature development, exhibiting excellent discriminative performance in both the training (AUC: 0.851, 95%CI: 0.782, 0.919) and validation cohorts (AUC: 0.816, 95%CI: 0.706, 0.926). The radscore, calculated using the signature, demonstrated strong predictive abilities for objective response in immunotherapy cohorts (AUC: 0.734, 95%CI: 0.662, 0.806; AUC: 0.724, 95%CI: 0.572, 0.877). Additionally, the radscore showed a significant association with PFS and OS, with GC patients with a low radscore experiencing a significant survival benefit from immunotherapy. Immune infiltration analysis revealed significantly higher levels of CD8 + T cells, activated CD4 + B cells, and TNFRSF18 expression in the low radscore group, while the high radscore group exhibited higher levels of T cells regulatory and HHLA2 expression. CONCLUSION: This study developed a robust radiomics signature with the potential to serve as a non-invasive biomarker for GC's MSI status and immunotherapy response, demonstrating notable links to post-immunotherapy PFS and OS. Additionally, distinct immune profiles were observed between low and high radscore groups, highlighting their potential clinical implications.

RESUMO

Cactus spinelike materials have attracted much attention due to high fog harvesting efficiency, but great challenges in structure fabrication and structural controllability still remain. In this study, we proposed a magnetically driven spray-coating method to fabricate a cactus spinelike superhydrophobic Fe3O4 vertical array on nonwoven cotton fabric. This method is simple and controllable; a mixture containing magnetic Fe3O4 particles and organosilicon resin was atomized into tiny droplets and arranged along the magnetic field lines. Different from the traditional method to prepare a cactus spinelike structure via liquid flow under magnet, which is usually accompanied with a big structure size and an unobvious structure feature due to the high viscosity of magnetic liquid. However, if the magnetic liquid is transformed into tiny magnetic droplets by a spraying method, it is promising to prepare micrometer-scale conical structures, and the reduction degree of bionic structures is high. When the fabricated structure is used for fog harvesting, it shows an extremely high efficiency of approximately 6.33 g cm-2 h-1, which is superior to most state-of-the-art fog harvesting materials. Considering the advantages of simplicity, structure controllability, and high fog harvesting rate, the reported strategy provides an avenue to build up high-performance fog harvesting materials.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES: To develop a CT-based radiomics model for preoperative prediction of lymph node (LN) metastasis in perihilar cholangiocarcinoma (pCCA). METHODS: The study enrolled consecutive pCCA patients from three independent Chinese medical centers. The Boruta algorithm was applied to build the radiomics signature for the primary tumor and LN. The k-means algorithm was employed to cluster the selected LNs based on the radiomics signature LN. Support vector machines were used to construct the prediction models. The diagnostic efficiency was measured by the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC). The optimal model was evaluated in terms of calibration, clinical usefulness, and prognostic value. RESULTS: A total of 214 patients were included in the study (mean age: 61.6 years ± 9.4; 130 male). The selected LNs were classified into two clusters, which were significantly correlated with LN metastasis in all cohorts (p < 0.001). The model incorporated the clinical risk factors, radiomics signature primary tumor, and the LN cluster obtained the best discrimination, with AUC values of 0.981 (95% CI: 0.962-1), 0.896 (95% CI: 0.810-0.982), and 0.865 (95% CI: 0.768-0.961) in the training, internal validation, and external validation cohorts, respectively. High-risk patients predicted by the optimal model had shorter overall survival than low-risk patients (median, 13.7 vs. 27.3 months, p < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS: The study proposed a radiomics model with good performance to predict LN metastasis in pCCA. As a noninvasive preoperative prediction tool, this model may help in patient risk stratification and personalized treatment. CLINICAL RELEVANCE STATEMENT: A CT-based radiomics model accurately predicts lymph node metastasis in perihilar cholangiocarcinoma patients. This noninvasive preoperative tool can aid in patient risk stratification and personalized treatment, potentially improving patient outcomes. KEY POINTS: • The radiomics model based on contrast-enhanced CT is a useful tool for preoperative prediction of lymph node metastasis in perihilar cholangiocarcinoma. • Radiomics features extracted from lymph nodes show great potential for predicting lymph node metastasis. • The study is the first to identify a lymph node phenotype with a high probability of metastasis based on radiomics.

RESUMO

Semiconductor heterojunction engineering and three-dimensional (3D) architecture construction have been considered highly desirable strategies to enhance photocatalytic performance. Herein, a BiOI/ZnO composite photocatalyst with a 3D flower-like architecture was successfully prepared, which was stably immobilized on three-dimensional porous lignocellulosic biomass Juncus effusus (JE) fiber. The outstanding photocatalytic performance of the BiOI/ZnO-JE fiber was confirmed by the degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride (TC, 90%), ciprofloxacin (CIP, 79%), and norfloxacin (NOR, 81%). The enhanced photocatalytic activities were mainly attributed to the synergistic absorption performance of the lignocellulosic JE and the effective transfer and separation of charges. Moreover, the hydroxyl (·OH) and superoxide radicals (·O2-) are the main reactive species in the photocatalytic process according to the analysis. This work may provide a novel perspective for constructing high-performance lignocellulosic-based photocatalytic materials.

RESUMO

Transition metal oxides (TMOs) are promising inorganic electrochromic materials (ECMs) that can be widely used in electronic displays and adaptive camouflage. However, there are still huge challenges for TMOs to simultaneously achieve multicolor transformation capability and good cycling stability. Herein, we assemble Au-modified (0.01 wt %) VxO2x+1 (x > 2) nanoflowers (Au@VxO2x+1 NFs) composed of two-dimensional porous nanosheets containing two valences states of vanadium (V4+ and V5+). The Au@VxO2x+1 NFs exhibits outstanding electrochromic performance with five reversible color transformations (orange, yellow, green, gray, and blue) at a voltage less than 1.5 V and excellent cycling stability (2000 cycles without significant decay). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that a single vanadium oxide ECM, rather than a device, realizes five color changes. This work provides a feasible way for the efficient preparation of multicolor electrochromic TMOs. The newly developed Au@VxO2x+1 NFs demonstrate the potential application in adaptive camouflage.

RESUMO

Reinforcement of polymer nanocomposites can be achieved by the selection of the appropriate fabrication method, surface modification, and orientation of the filler. Herein, we present a nonsolvent-induced phase separation method with ternary solvents to prepare thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) composite films with excellent mechanical properties using 3-Glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane-modified cellulose nanocrystals (GLCNCs). ATR-IR and SEM analyses of the GLCNCs confirmed that GL was successfully coated on the surface of the nanocrystals. The incorporation of GLCNCs in TPU resulted in the enhancement of the tensile strain and toughness of pure TPU owing to the enhanced interfacial interactions between them. The GLCNC-TPU composite film had tensile strain and toughness values of 1740.42% and 90.01 MJ/m3, respectively. Additionally, GLCNC-TPU exhibited a good elastic recovery rate. CNCs were readily aligned along the fiber axis after the spinning and drawing of the composites into fibers, which further improved the mechanical properties of the composites. The stress, strain, and toughness of the GLCNC-TPU composite fiber increased by 72.60%, 10.25%, and 103.61%, respectively, compared to those of the pure TPU film. This study demonstrates a facile and effective strategy for fabricating mechanically enhanced TPU composites.

RESUMO

Photodegradation shows a potential strategy for alleviating the excessive antibiotics crisis. The synergistic effect of various metal compounds immobilized on conductive substrates has been considered for wastewater treatment. However, developing a facile and universal approach for rational design and enhancing photocatalytic properties has endured extreme challenges. Herein, we develop a strategy to facilitate the photocatalytic reactions by designing a composite architecture of ZIF-8 ligand binding to the in-situ synthesis ZnO seed layer on carbon fiber. In this architecture, the dissolution and release of the seed layer in the excessive 2-Methylimidazole methanol solution were used as the binder to enhance the interplay between organic ligand and substrate. As an evaluated system for antibiotic contaminants, the photodegradation of tetracycline hydrochloride was performed with a removal efficiency of 88.47% (TC = 50 mg/L, pH = 4, 0.08 g of photocatalyst, illumination within 100 min). Moreover, the photocatalyst exhibited a steady photocatalytic activity (75.0%) after five cycles. The present work demonstrated a strategy for enhancing the photocatalytic performances of carbon fiber and accordingly provided useful perception into the design of the synergistic structure.

RESUMO

Multifunctional surfaces that are favorable for both droplet nucleation and removal are critical for water-harvesting applications, but there still remain great challenges. Herein, we proposed a facile strategy to construct hydrophobic surfaces containing moderate hydrophilic groups to achieve both exceptional droplet nucleation and removal. Different from natural desert beetle-inspired water-harvesting materials, these surfaces utilize limited hydrophilic domains to condense fog, and transport of formed tiny droplets relies on a hydrophobic background. The total surface area of the presented hydrophobic fabric contains hydrophilic groups, and the areas for trapping fog have increased. This feature is optimized to enhance the droplet nucleation density, and the surface still has excellent liquid repellency, resulting in maximum water collection efficiency of the prepared surface reaching up to 3.145 g·cm-2·h-1, much higher than the most reported water-harvesting materials. Due to its high efficiency and scalability, we believe that the proposed strategy to construct hydrophobic surfaces containing hydrophilic groups has great practical value.

RESUMO

The coloration of carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers (CNTFs) is a long-lasting challenge because of the intrinsic black color and chemically inert surfaces of CNTs, which cannot satisfy the aesthetic and fashion requirements and thus significantly restrict their performance in many cutting-edge fields. Recently, a structural coloration method of CNTFs was developed by our group using atomic layer deposition (ALD) technology. However, the ALD-based structural coloration method of CNTFs is expensive, time-consuming, and not suitable for the large-scale production of colorful CNTFs. Herein, we developed a very simple and scalable liquid-phase method to realize the structural coloration of CNTFs. A SiO2/ethanol dispersion containing SiO2 nanospheres with controllable sizes was synthesized. The SiO2 nanospheres could self-assemble into photonic crystal layers on the surface of CNTFs and exhibited brilliant colors. The colors of SiO2 nanoparticle-coated CNTFs could be easily changed by tuning the sizes of SiO2 nanospheres. This method provides a simple, effective, and promising way for the large-scale production of colorful CNTFs.

RESUMO

Mapping neural circuits is critical for understanding the structure and function of the nervous system. Engineered viruses are a valuable tool for tracing neural circuits. However, current tracers do not fully meet the needs for this approach because of various drawbacks, such as toxicity and characteristics that are difficult to modify. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a new tracer with low toxicity and that allows for long-term studies. In this study, we constructed an engineered Sindbis virus (SINV) expressing enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) reporter gene (SINV-EGFP) and found that it had no significant difference in biological characterization compared with the wild-type Sindbis virus in BHK-21 cells and neurons in vitro. We injected the virus into the visual circuit of mouse brain and found that the virus infected neurons in the local injected site and anterogradely spread in the neural circuits. Although the efficiency of transmission was limited, the findings demonstrate that SINV can be used as a new anterograde tracer to map neural circuits in mouse brain and that it spreads exclusively in the anterograde direction. Further, use of SINV in mouse brain research will provide longer time windows for circuit tracing than is possible with herpes simplex virus and vesicular stomatitis virus tracers.

RESUMO

Abnormal muscle tone and muscle weakness are related to gait asymmetry in stroke survivors. However, the internal muscle morphological changes that occur during walking remain unclear. To address this issue, this study investigated the muscle activity of the tibialis anterior (TA) and medial gastrocnemius (MG) of both the paretic and non-paretic sides during walking in nine stroke survivors, by simultaneously capturing electromyography (EMG), mechanomyography (MMG), and ultrasound images, and using a validated novel wearable ultrasound imaging and sensing system. Statistical analysis was performed to examine the test−retest reliability of the collected data, and both the main and interaction effects of each "side" (paretic vs. non-paretic) and "gait" factors, in stroke survivors. This study observed significantly good test−retest reliability in the collected data (0.794 ≤ ICC ≤ 0.985), and significant differences existed in both the side and gait factors of the average TA muscle thickness from ultrasound images, and in the gait factors of TA and MG muscle's MMG and EMG signals (p < 0.05). The muscle morphological characteristics also appeared to be different between the paretic and non-paretic sides on ultrasound images. This study uncovered significantly different internal muscle contraction patterns between paretic and non-paretic sides during walking for TA (7.2% ± 1.6%) and MG (5.3% ± 4.9%) muscles in stroke survivors.

RESUMO

Lignocellulosic biomass is a potential biotemplate for disposing the burden of the uncontrollable accumulation of environmental contaminants disrupting the hydrophytic ecosystems. Herein, an efficient solar-driven catalyst was prepared using a natural three-dimensional (3D) porous lignocellulose-based Juncus effusus (JE) fiber for wastewater treatment. Owing to the exquisite 3D microstructure and abundant hydroxyl groups, the two-dimensional lamellar graphitic carbon nitride/graphene oxide (g-C3N4/GO) nanocomposites were successfully synthesized and decorated on the carboxymethylated JE fiber via the electrostatic self-assembly method. The as-prepared g-C3N4/GO-JE (CNG-JE) photocatalyst exhibits excellent light absorption efficiency and a superior ability to accelerate photogenerated electron migration. The outstanding adsorption performance toward pollutants also contributes to the photodegradation property of CNG-JE, showing highly efficient degradation of C.I. Reactive Red 120 (99.8%), C.I. Acid Yellow 11 (99.8%), methylene blue (99.4%), Cr(VI) (98.8%), and tetracycline (87.2%). Most importantly, the lignocellulose-based CNG-JE fibers could be fabricated into a photocatalyst textile due to their flexible and weavable properties. In actual application, the CNG-JE textile can be reused for at least five cycles under the sun, demonstrating that the flexible CNG-JE textile is practical and recyclable. This study may provide a platform for constructing efficient, flexible, and weavable biomass-based porous materials for cost-effective and sustainable catalytic applications.

RESUMO

Making rapid and proper compensatory postural adjustments is vital to prevent falls and fall-related injuries. This study aimed to investigate how, especially how rapidly, the multiple lower-limb muscles and joints would respond to the unexpected standing balance perturbations. Unexpected waist-pull perturbations with small, medium and large magnitudes were delivered to twelve healthy young adults from the anterior, posterior, medial and lateral directions. Electromyographical (EMG) and mechanomyographical (MMG) responses of eight dominant-leg muscles (i.e., hip abductor/adductors, hip flexor/extensor, knee flexor/extensor, and ankle dorsiflexor/plantarflexors) together with the lower-limb joint angle, moment, and power data were recorded. The onset latencies, time to peak, peak values, and/or rate of change of these signals were analyzed. Statistical analysis revealed that: (1) agonist muscles resisting the delivered perturbation had faster activation than the antagonist muscles; (2) ankle muscles showed the largest rate of activation among eight muscles following both anteroposterior and mediolateral perturbations; (3) lower-limb joint moments that complied with the perturbation had faster increase; and (4) larger perturbation magnitude tended to evoke a faster response in muscle activities, but not necessarily in joint kinetics/kinematics. These findings provided insights regarding the underlying mechanism and lower-limb muscle activities to maintain reactive standing balance in healthy young adults.

RESUMO

Purpose: The study aimed to construct and evaluate a CT-Based radiomics model for noninvasive detecting perineural invasion (PNI) of perihilar cholangiocarcinoma (pCCA) preoperatively. Materials and Methods: From February 2012 to October 2021, a total of 161 patients with pCCA who underwent resection were retrospectively enrolled in this study. Patients were allocated into the training cohort and the validation cohort according to the diagnostic time. Venous phase images of contrast-enhanced CT were used for radiomics analysis. The intraclass correlation efficient (ICC), the correlation analysis, and the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression were applied to select radiomics features and built radiomics signature. Logistic regression analyses were performed to establish a clinical model, a radiomics model, and a combined model. The performance of the predictive models was measured by area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), and pairwise ROC comparisons between models were tested using the Delong method. Finally, the model with the best performance was presented as a nomogram, and its calibration and clinical usefulness were assessed. Results: Finally, 15 radiomics features were selected to build a radiomics signature, and three models were developed through logistic regression. In the training cohort, the combined model showed a higher predictive capability (AUC = 0.950) than the radiomics model and the clinical model (AUC: radiomics = 0.914, clinical = 0.756). However, in the validation cohort, the AUC of the radiomics model (AUC = 0.885) was significantly higher than the other two models (AUC: combined = 0.791, clinical = 0.567). After comprehensive consideration, the radiomics model was chosen to develop the nomogram. The calibration curve and decision curve analysis (DCA) suggested that the nomogram had a good consistency and clinical utility. Conclusion: We developed a CT-based radiomics model with good performance to noninvasively predict PNI of pCCA preoperatively.

RESUMO

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are promising candidates for numerous cutting-edge fields because of their excellent properties. However, the inherent black color of CNTs cannot satisfy the aesthetic/fashion requirement, and the flammability of CNTs severely restricts their application in high-temperature environments with oxygen. Here, we realized a structural coloration of CNTs by coating them with amorphous TiO2 layers. By tuning the TiO2 coating thickness, both CNT fibers and membranes exhibited controllable and brilliant colors, which exhibited remarkable superdurability that could endure 2000 cycles of laundering tests and more than 10 months of high-intensity ultraviolet irradiation. The TiO2-coated CNTs exhibited a notable fire-retardant performance and could endure 8 hours of fire burning. The structural coloration of CNTs with excellent fire retardance substantially improves their performance and broadens their applications.

RESUMO

Biosecurity problems, including the continual risk of avian influenza spread by wild birds, have severely affected traditional free-range waterfowl production systems. Regulations and techniques for indoor goose production require more considerations for animal welfare. This study investigated the effects of swimming pool conditions and different floor types on the physical condition scores and behaviors of indoor-reared White Roman geese. A total of 48 male and 48 female White Roman geese reared from the age of 15 to 84 days were randomly allocated to pens with or without a swimming pool and with either mud or perforated plastic floors. Providing a swimming pool improved geese's eye and feather cleanliness and breast blister scores at the age of 84 days. Compared with geese reared on a mud floor, those reared on a perforated plastic floor had better feather cleanliness and higher breast blister scores at the age of 56 and 84 days. Providing a swimming pool to indoor-reared geese may reduce the proportion of abnormal behaviors, such as injurious feather pecking, by increasing water-related behaviors. This study suggests a more appropriate environment design for better balancing commercial goose production with animal welfare in an indoor rearing system.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To observe the influence of acupuncture on microcirculation perfusion of the pericardium meridian and heart in acute myocardial ischemia (AMI) rats and evaluate whether acupuncture can simultaneously affect the meridians and corresponding viscera. Additionally, acupoints at different meridians were compared and whether they exert the same effects was discussed. METHODS: Totally 32 Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to left anterior descending (LAD) ligation to develop an AMI model. Rats were divided into 4 groups, including AMI, acupuncture Neiguan (PC 6), Lieque (LU 7) and Qiansanli (LI 10) groups (n=8). Eight rats received only thoracotomy (sham-operated group). The rats in the acupuncture groups received manual acupuncture at PC 6, LU 7 and LI 10 acupoints for 15 min, respectively. The microcirculation perfusion of pericardium meridian and heart was monitored by laser speckle perfusion imager (LSPI) before, during and after acupuncture manipulation for 15 min. Subsequently, the perfusion unit (PU) was calculated and analyzed by PSI System. RESULTS: After LAD, compared to pre-acupuncture stage, the heart microcirculation perfusion (HMP) in the AMI group decreased continuously at during-acupuncture (P>0.05) and post-acupuncture stages (P<0.05), and the pericardium meridian microcirculation perfusion (PMP) showed no significant differences at 3 stages (P>0.05). Compared to pre-acupuncture stage, the PMP and HMP in PC 6 group significantly increased during acupuncture manipulation (both P<0.05), and PMP decreased obviously after acupuncture (P<0.05). The PMP in the LU 7 and LI 10 groups were slightly elevated (both P>0.05); however, they were significantly reduced after acupuncture manipulation (both P<0.05). Additionally, HMP of LI 10 group was decreased significantly during acupuncture, especially compared to pre-acupuncture stage (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Acupuncture at PC 6 obviously increased the PMP and HMP in AMI rats, and the effects were superior to at LU 7 and LI 10 acupoints. It was further confirmed that acupuncture promoted qi and blood circulation, indicating that acupoint specificity exists and features a meridian-propagated effect.

RESUMO

It is an effective approach to control invasive plants based on the allelopathic effect of native plants with higher economic values, from the perspective of allelopathy. The aim of this study was to test the allelopathic effect of a local crop, sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas), on the invasive plant Alternanthera philoxeroides. Water extracts from different organs of sweet potato (roots, stems, leaves) with three concentrations (0.025, 0.05, 0.1 g·mL-1) were used in the study. To test the effect of sweet potato on rhizome growth of A. philoxeroides, the morphological index (ramet number, node number, leaf number, leaf area, plant height, total dry weight and root number of new ramets), allelopathic response index, trait values (succulent degree, root-shoot ratio, specific leaf area, leaf mass ratio, stem mass ratio, root mass ratio), CAT, POD, MDA and SOD in young leaves were measured. The results showed that 1) Water extracts from different organs of sweet potato with different concentrations differed in their effects on the growth of A. philoxeroides. Water extract from root with 0.1 g·mL-1 significantly inhibited all morphological indices. Except total dry weight and root number, other morphological indices decreased significantly with increasing concentration of water extract from all organs. 2) The synthetic allelopathic response index (RI) was negative under all treatments, indicating that water extract of sweet potato had negative effects on all indices of A. philoxeroides and thus inhibited their growth. Among all the treatments, water extract from root with a concentration of 0.1 g·mL-1 had the strongest allelopathic inhibition (RI=-0.73), followed by that from stem with a concentration of 0.1 g·mL-1(RI=-0.44) and from root with a concentration of 0.05 g·mL-1(RI=-0.44). 3) Water extract of sweet potato had significant inhibitory effects on the degree of succulence, root-shoot ratio, specific leaf area, and leaf mass ratio, but did not affect stem mass ratio and root mass ratio. 4) Water extract of sweet potato significantly increased the contents of MDA and SOD in the fresh leaves of A. philoxeroides, while had no effect on the contents of CAT and POD. All these results indicates that water extract of sweet potato significantly suppress the ramet growth of A. philoxeroides.

RESUMO

As a natural polymer, leather and its associated industries are known to be the leading economic sector in many countries. However, the huge amounts of leather waste generated from the leather industry causes severe environmental pollution. Herein, cow leather (CL) powders were prepared using a homemade machine and used as a low-cost adsorbent for the effective removal of reactive dyes from wastewater. The as-prepared CL powders exhibited dot-like, rod-like, and fiber-like morphologies. A Fourier transform infrared analysis and an x-ray diffraction analysis demonstrated that the CL powders retained the main structure of the protein contained in it. In addition, an improvement in thermal stability was also observed for the CL powders. Dye adsorption experiments indicate that the CL powders showed the highly effective removal of C.I. Reactive Red 120 (RR120), C.I. Reactive Yellow 127 (RY127), and C.I. Reactive Blue 222 (RB222) with the adsorption capacity of 167.0, 178.9, and 129.6 mg·g-1, respectively. The Langmuir, pseudo-second order, and intraparticle diffusion models could well depict the adsorption equilibrium and kinetics of CL powders toward the investigated reactive dyes. The as-prepared CL powders can be used as a potential adsorbent in the treatment of dye contaminated wastewater. Future studies will mainly focus on the application of the adsorbed CL powders for the pigment printing of textile materials.
