RESUMO

V2-glycan/apex broadly neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs) recognize a closed quaternary epitope of the HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein (Env). This closed structure is necessary to elicit apex antibodies and useful to guide the maturation of other bnAb classes. To compare antigens designed to maintain this conformation, we evaluated apex-specific responses in mice engrafted with a diverse repertoire of B cells expressing the HCDR3 of the apex bnAb VRC26.25. Engineered B cells affinity matured, guiding the improvement of VRC26.25 itself. We found that soluble Env (SOSIP) variants differed significantly in their ability to raise anti-apex responses. A transmembrane SOSIP (SOSIP-TM) delivered as an mRNA-lipid nanoparticle elicited more potent neutralizing responses than multimerized SOSIP proteins. Importantly, SOSIP-TM elicited neutralizing sera from B cells engineered with the predicted VRC26.25-HCDR3 progenitor, which also affinity matured. Our data show that HCDR3-edited B cells facilitate efficient in vivo comparisons of Env antigens and highlight the potential of an HCDR3-focused vaccine approach.

RESUMO

Apple is an important fruit crop that is always in demand due to its commercial and nutraceutical value. Also, the requirement for quality planting material for this fruit crop for new plantations is increasing continuously. In-vitro propagation is an alternative approach, which may help to produce genetically identical high grade planting material. In this study, for the first time, an efficient and reproducible propagation protocol has been established for apple root stock MM 104 via axillary bud. Culturing axillary buds on Murashige and Skoog apple rootstock (MM 104) resulted in better in-vitro propagation. (MS) basal medium supplemented with 3.0% (w/v) sucrose and 0.8% (w/v) agar. The axillary buds were established in MS basal medium with BA (5.0 µM), NAA (1.0 µM) and further used to establish invitro propagation protocol. Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs), BA (1.0 µM) in combination with NAA (1.0 µM) was found most efficient for shoot multiplication (100%) and produced 9.8 shoots/explants with an average shoot length of (2.4 ± cm). All the shoots produced roots in 0.1 µM IBA with a 5-day dark period. Acclimatization of in-vitro raised plantlets was obtained with vermiculite: perlite: sand: soil (2:2:1:1) resulting in 76% survival under field conditions. The study showed that the use of axillary bud is efficient for multiple-shoot production of apple rootstock (MM 104). This is the first comprehensive report on in-vitro growth of apple root stock MM 104 with an assessment of genetic stability using DNA fingerprinting profiles based on Inter Simple Sequence Repeats (ISSR) and Start Codon Targeted (SCoT). The genetic stability of in-vitro-produced plants, as determined by SCoT and ISSR primers, demonstrated genetic closeness to the mother plant.

RESUMO

Abiotic stresses are a major constraint for agricultural productivity and food security in today's era of climate change. Plants can experience different types of abiotic stresses, either individually or in combination. Sometimes, more than one stress event may occur simultaneously or one after another during the lifecycle of the plant. In general, key survival strategies for stress tolerance may differ from one stress to another. However, at the molecular level, evolutionarily conserved protein kinase SUCROSE NONFERMENTING 1 (SNF1)-related protein kinase (SnRK) gene family members, comprising SnRK1, SnRK2, and SnRK3 gene families, play a key role in different types of stress and adaptive responses. SnRK gene family members can act as master regulators and regulate the central metabolism of plants, which determines the energy distribution in either survival or growth/developmental processes. The key mechanism of SnRK-mediated regulation is associated with the phosphorylation of downstream genes, which either induces or dampens the function of target proteins. This may be crucial for maintaining differential morpho-physiological and biochemical processes in plants, including potassium signalling, ROS homeostasis, sugar signalling, and energy homeostasis. Furthermore, phosphorylation sites associated with different targets were also reviewed, which showed that SnRK-mediated phosphorylation of Serine and Threonine residues of the target protein is a site-specific event, where the target consists of specific amino acid sequences, including RXXS/T, Serine-threonine rich regions, or AMPK/SNF1 types. Here, we review different classes of SnRK gene family members and their multifaceted roles in understanding the commonality of SnRK-mediated responses to multiple abiotic stresses in plants.

RESUMO

Crop residue management has become more challenging with intensive agricultural operations. Zero tillage and crop residue returns, along with the enhancement of in-situ residue decomposition through microbial intervention, are essential measures for preserving and enhancing soil quality. To address this problem in view of stubble burning, field experiments were conducted in rice-rice (variety Swarna) cropping systems under lowland conditions, wherein the following different residue management practices were adopted viz., conventional cultivation (CC), residue incorporation (RI @ 6 t paddy straw ha-1), residue retention (RR @6 t paddy straw ha-1), and zero tillage (ZT). In this experiment, two microbial products i.e. solid microbial consortium (SMC) at 2.0 kg ha-1) and capsule (10 numbers ha-1), were evaluated in both Rabi (dry) and Kharif (wet) seasons under different residue management practices. The results on soil microbial properties showed that application of either SMC or capsule based formulation could significantly improve the soil organic carbon (SOC) content in ZT (9.51 g/kg), followed by RI (9.36 g/kg), and RR (9.34 g/kg) as compared to CC (7.61 g/kg). There were significant differences in the soil functional properties (AcP, AkP, FDA, and DHA) with microbial interventions across all residue management practices. SOC was significantly positive correlated with cellulase (R2 = 0.64, p < 0.001), ß-glucosidase (R2 = 0.61, p < 0.001), and laccase (R2 = 0.66, p < 0.001) activity; however, the regression coefficients varied significantly with microbial intervention. Moreover, the availability of N, P, and K in soil was significantly (p < 0.05) improved under microbial treatments with either RR or RI practices. Among the different methods of residues management practices, RI with microbial intervention registered a consistent yield improvement (8.4-17.8%) compared to conventional practices with microbial intervention. The present findings prove that the application of decomposing microbial consortia for in-situ rice residue management under field conditions significantly enhances soil quality and crop yield compared to conventional practices.

RESUMO

Introduction: Vesicoureteric reflux (VUR), recurrent urinary tract infection (RUTI), febrile urinary tract infection (FUTI), renal scarring, and renal damage are intimately related. Key factors of renal damage in VUR are suspected to be RUTI and FUTI. Hence, conventional treatments are targeted toward the prevention of RUTI and FUTI. However, literatures have witnessed that control of infection is not sufficient enough. That means we are missing some hidden, enigmatic, or overlooked factors which are essentially responsible for renal damage. We know RUTI occurs from the stasis of urine in system and stasis might occur from obstruction somewhere in system. Moreover, obstruction builds up back pressure in the bladder and ureters, and ultimately in kidneys; that pressure is independently harmful to renal function. Pressure is further harmful if this joins together with infection. We know that RUTI and FUTI along with pressure in the urinary tract are harmful to renal parenchyma. Nevertheless, search for the nexus of obstruction, pressure, stasis, infection, and damage (OPSID) of renal function is not yet focused on in VUR research. In this retrospective study on secondary VUR, we would like to find the overlooked factors or nexus of OPSID associated with VUR causing renal damage. Patients and Methods: A total of 170 renal units of 135 patients with VUR resulted from the posterior urethral valve and from repaired bladder exstrophy, from March 2005 to April 2019, had adequate data regarding control/correction of obstruction and urodynamic studies. The mean patient's age was 2.8 years (range 1 day-14 years). The diagnosis of VURs was made with postnatal cystogram in patients of the posterior urethral valve and of repaired continent augmented bladder exstrophy. We do cystogram not micturating cystogram following ultrasonography if showing dilated ureter/s. If we find no residual in ureter/s after 30 min in cystogram, we label it as "rise and fall" VUR (raf_VUR), i.e., without obstruction. On the other hand, if there is post void residual in ureter/s for more than 30 min, we label it as "rise and stasis" VUR (ras_VUR) means combination of VUR with uretero vesical junction obstruction (UVJO). Along with this, all patients were followed up with albumin creatinine ratio, creatinine clearance, USG Renometry, DTPA renal scan, uroflowmetry, and urodynamic study (UDS). Repeat cystoscopy, if necessary, was done following UDS for secondary bladder neck incision (BNI) or for repeat BNI if necessary. Results: Mean duration of follow-up was 7.2 years (range 3-14 years). Out of 170 renal units, 132 renal units had VUR without VUJO, i.e., raf_VUR and 38 renal units had ras_VUR. All patients of UVJO were relieved either with anticholinergics or with DJ stenting or by re-implantations. Twenty-nine patients out of 135 had high pressure on UDS, and they needed BNI. We were able to prevent upstaging of chronic kidney disease (USCKD) in all 135 patients. Conclusions: Our tangible goal of treatment in VUR is the prevention of USCKD. We differentiated raf_VUR from ras_VUR with cystogram. Patients with ras_VUR and patients with raf_VUR with high bladder pressure were actively treated. This particular subset VUR was treated with prophylactic antibiotic and surgical corrections. We prevented renal damage by eliminating obstruction and stasis which helped to prevent RUTI and FUTI. Possibly, similar management might also help to manage "primary VUR." Possibly those overlooked factors which are essentially responsible for renal damage are veiled in nexus OPSID of the kidney.

RESUMO

Neuroblastoma is one of the most common pediatric cancers. This study used machine learning (ML) to predict the mortality and a few other investigated intermediate outcomes of neuroblastoma patients non-invasively from CT images. Performances of multiple ML algorithms over retrospective CT images of 65 neuroblastoma patients are analyzed. An artificial neural network (ANN) is used on tumor radiomic features extracted from 3D CT images. A pre-trained 2D convolutional neural network (CNN) is used on slices of the same images. ML models are trained for various pathologically investigated outcomes of these patients. A subspecialty-trained pediatric radiologist independently reviewed the manually segmented primary tumors. Pyradiomics library is used to extract 105 radiomic features. Six ML algorithms are compared to predict the following outcomes: mortality, presence or absence of metastases, neuroblastoma differentiation, mitosis-karyorrhexis index (MKI), presence or absence of MYCN gene amplification, and presence of image-defined risk factors (IDRF). The prediction ranges over multiple experiments are measured using the area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC-AUC) for comparison. Our results show that the radiomics-based ANN method slightly outperforms the other algorithms in predicting all outcomes except classification of the grade of neuroblastic differentiation, for which the elastic regression model performed the best. Contributions of the article are twofold: (1) noninvasive models for the prognosis from CT images of neuroblastoma, and (2) comparison of relevant ML models on this medical imaging problem.

RESUMO

In this article, the design of an efficient wireless power transfer (WPT) system using antenna-based topology for the applications in wearable devices is presented. To implement the wearable WPT system, a simple circular patch antenna is initially designed on a flexible felt substrate by placing over a three-layer human tissue model to utilize as a receiving element. Meanwhile, a high gain circular patch antenna is also designed in the air environment to use as a transmitter for designing the wearable WPT link. The proposed WPT system is built to operate at the industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) band of 2.40-2.48 GHz. In addition, to improve the power transfer efficiency (PTE) of the system, a metamaterial (MTM) slab built with an array combination of 3 × 3 unit cells has been employed. Further, the performance analysis of the MTM integrated system is performed on the different portions of the human body like hand, head and torso model to present the versatile applicability of the system. Moreover, analysis of the specific absorption rate (SAR) has been performed in different wearable scenarios to show the effect on the human body under the standard recommended limits. Regarding the practical application issues, the performance stability analysis of the proposed system due to the misalignment and flexibility of the Rx antenna is executed. Finally, the prototypes are fabricated and experimental validation is performed on several realistic wearable platforms like three-layer pork tissue slab, human hand, head and body. The simulated and measured result confirms that by using the MTM slab, a significant amount of the PTE improvement is obtained from the proposed system.

RESUMO

In this proof-of-concept work, we have developed a 3D-CNN architecture that is guided by the tumor mask for classifying several patient-outcomes in breast cancer from the respective 3D dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) images. The tumor masks on DCE-MRI images were generated using pre- and post-contrast images and validated by experienced radiologists. We show that our proposed mask-guided classification has a higher accuracy than that from either the full image without tumor masks (including background) or the masked voxels only. We have used two patient outcomes for this study: (1) recurrence of cancer after 5 years of imaging and (2) HER2 status, for comparing accuracies of different models. By looking at the activation maps, we conclude that an image-based prediction model using 3D-CNN could be improved by even a conservatively generated mask, rather than overly trusting an unguided, blind 3D-CNN. A blind CNN may classify accurately enough, while its attention may really be focused on a remote region within 3D images. On the other hand, only using a conservatively segmented region may not be as good for classification as using full images but forcing the model's attention toward the known regions of interest.

RESUMO

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), particularly the Glomerales group, play a paramount role in plant nutrient uptake, and abiotic and biotic stress management in rice, but recent evidence revealed that elevated CO2 concentration considerably reduces the Glomerales group in soil. In view of this, the present study was initiated to understand the interaction effect of native Glomerales species application in rice plants (cv. Naveen) under elevated CO2 concentrations (400 ± 10, 550 ± 20, and 700 ± 20 ppm) in open-top chambers. Three different modes of application of the AMF inoculum were evaluated, of which, combined application of AMF at the seedling production and transplanting stages showed increased AMF colonization, which significantly improved grain yield by 25.08% and also increased uptake of phosphorus by 18.2% and nitrogen by 49.5%, as observed at 700-ppm CO2 concentration. Organic acids secretion in rice root increased in AMF-inoculated plants exposed to 700-ppm CO2 concentration. To understand the overall effect of CO2 elevation on AMF interaction with the rice plant, principal component and partial least square regression analysis were performed, which found both positive and negative responses under elevated CO2 concentration.

RESUMO

Objective. This paper addresses performing inverse radon transform (IRT) with artificial neural network (ANN) or deep learning, simultaneously with cardiac motion correction (MC). The suggested application domain is cardiac image reconstruction in emission or transmission tomography where IRT is relevant. Our main contribution is in proposing an ANN architecture that is particularly suitable for this purpose.Approach. We validate our approach with two types of datasets. First, we use an abstract object that looks like a heart to simulate motion-blurred radon transform. With the known ground truth in hand, we then train our proposed ANN architecture and validate its effectiveness in MC. Second, we used human cardiac gated datasets for training and validation of our approach. The gating mechanism bins data over time using the electro-cardiogram (ECG) signals for cardiac motion correction.Main results. We have shown that trained ANNs can perform motion-corrected image reconstruction directly from a motion-corrupted sinogram. We have compared our model against two other known ANN-based approaches.Significance. Our method paves the way for eliminating any need for hardware gating in medical imaging.

RESUMO

To meet the need of the growing global population, the modern agriculture faces tremendous challenges to produce more food as well as fiber, timber, biofuels, etc.; hence generates more waste. This continuous growth of agricultural waste (agri-waste) and its management strategies have drawn the attention worldwide because of its severe environmental impacts including air, soil and water pollution. Similarly, growing concerns about the sustainable future have fuelled the development of biopolymers, substances occurring in and/or produced by living organisms, as substitute for different synthetic and harmful polymers, especially petroleum-based plastics. Now, the components of agri-waste offer encouraging opportunities for the production of bioplastics through mechanical and microbial procedures. Even the microbial, both bacterial and fungal, system results in lower energy consumption and better eco-friendly alternatives. The review mainly concentrates on cataloging and understanding the bacterial 'input' in developing bioplastics from diverse agri-waste. Especially, the bacteria like Cupriavidus necator, Chromatium vinosum, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa produce short- and medium-chain length poly(3-hydroxyalkanote) (P3HB) polymers using starch (from corn and potato waste), and cellulose (from sugarcane bagasse, corn husks waste). Similarly, C. necator, and transformant Wautersia eutropha produce P3HB polymer using lipid-based components (such as palm oil waste). Important to note that, the synthesis of these polymers are interconnected with the bacterial general metabolic activities, for example Krebs cycle, glycolysis cycle, ß-oxidation, calvin cycle, de novo fatty acid syntheses, etc. Altogether, the agri-waste is reasonably low-cost feed for the production of bioplastics using bacterial communities; and the whole process certainly provide an opportunity towards sustainable waste management strategy.

RESUMO

This article introduces an innovative approach for creating a circular polarization (CP) antenna-based rotation-insensitive implantable wireless power transfer (WPT) system for medical devices. The system is constructed to work in the industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) frequency band of 902-928 MHz. Initially, a flexible, wide-band, and bio-compatible open-ended CP slot antenna is designed within a single-layer human skin tissue model to serve as the receiving (Rx) element. To form the implantable WPT link, a circular patch antenna is also constructed in the free-space to use as a transmitting (Tx) source. Further, a new metamaterial-polarization converter (MTM-PC) structure is developed and incorporated into the proposed system to enhance the power transfer efficiency (PTE). Furthermore, the rotational phenomenon of the Rx implant has been studied to show how the rotation affects the system's performance. Moreover, a numerical analysis of the specific absorption rate (SAR) is conducted to confirm compliance with safety regulations and prioritize human safety from electromagnetic exposure. Finally, to validate the introduced concept, prototypes of the different elements of the proposed WPT system were fabricated and tested using skin-mimicking gel and porcine tissue. The measured results confirm the feasibility of the introduced approach, exhibiting improved efficiency due to use of the MTM-PC. The amplitude of the transmission coefficient ( | S 21 | ) has improved by 6.94 dB in the simulation, whereas the enhancement of 7.04 dB and 6.76 dB is obtained from the experimental study due to the integration of MTM-PC. As a result, the PTE of the proposed MTM-PC integrated implantable WPT system is increased significantly compared to the system without MTM-PC.

RESUMO

Agricultural crop residues include leftover and unmarketable materials, such as crop stover, weeds, leaf litter, sawdust, forest litter, and livestock manure originating from crop cultivation, and post-harvest activities. Such residues are a storehouse of plant nutrients and several other resources and therefore need to be managed in an environment- friendly manner with minimum loss of plant nutrients and other resources that can be recovered. Microbial starter consortia are a key component in the rapid recycling of farm residue wastes and the production of other valuable products, such as biogas, bioethanol/biofuel, enzymes, molecules, and metabolites. Recent advances in microbial biotechnology can also facilitate the conversion of farm residues into economically valuable materials, i.e. soil additives, adsorbents, energy, and enzymes, thereby contributing to a circular economy. This special issue attempts to compile the latest advancements in the field of agricultural crop residue management for enhanced nutrient recycling and resource recovery by the use of compost starters and inoculant formulations.

RESUMO

Strigolactones (SLs) are a new class of plant hormones that play a significant role in regulating various aspects of plant growth promotion, stress tolerance and influence the rhizospheric microbiome. GR24 is a synthetic SL analog used in scientific research to understand the effects of SL on plants and to act as a plant growth promoter. This study aimed to conduct hormonal seed priming at different concentrations of GR24 (0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 5.0 and 10.0 µM with and without arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) inoculation in selected aerobic rice varieties (CR Dhan 201, CR Dhan 204, CR Dhan 205, and CR Dhan 207), Kasalath-IC459373 (P-tolerant check), and IR-36 (P-susceptible check) under phosphorus (P)-deficient conditions to understand the enhancement of growth and priming effects in mycorrhization. Our findings showed that seed priming with 5.0 µM SL GR24 enhanced the performance of mycorrhization in CR Dhan 205 (88.91 %), followed by CR Dhan 204 and 207, and AMF sporulation in CR Dhan 201 (31.98 spores / 10 gm soil) and CR Dhan 207 (30.29 spores / 10 g soil), as well as rice growth. The study showed that the highly responsive variety CR Dhan 207 followed by CR Dhan 204, 205, 201, and Kasalath IC459373 showed higher P uptake than the control, and AMF treated with 5.0 µM SL GR24 varieties CR Dhan 205 followed by CR Dhan 207 and 204 showed the best performance in plant growth, chlorophyll content, and soil functional properties, such as acid and alkaline phosphatase activity, soil microbial biomass carbon (MBC), dehydrogenase activity (DHA), and fluorescein diacetate activity (FDA). Overall, AMF intervention with SL GR24 significantly increased plant growth, soil enzyme activity, and uptake of P compared to the control. Under P-deficient conditions, seed priming with 5.0 µM strigolactone GR24 and AMF inoculum significantly increased selected aerobic rice growth, P uptake, and soil enzyme activities. Application of SLs formulations with AMF inoculum in selected aerobic rice varieties, CR Dhan 207, CR Dhan 204, and CR Dhan 205, will play an important role in mycorrhization, growth, and enhancement of P utilization under P- nutrient deficient conditions.

RESUMO

Saline soils pose significant challenges to global agricultural productivity, hindering crop growth and efficiency. Despite various mitigation strategies, the issue persists, underscoring the need for innovative and sustainable solutions. One promising approach involves leveraging microorganisms and their plant interactions to reclaim saline soils and bolster crop yields. This review highlights pioneering and recent advancements in utilizing multi-traits Trichoderma and Bacillus species as potent promoters of plant growth and health. It examines the multifaceted impacts of saline stress on plants and microbes, elucidating their physiological and molecular responses. Additionally, it delves into the role of ACC deaminase in mitigating plant ethylene levels by Trichoderma and Bacillus species. Although there are several studies on Trichoderma-Bacillus, much remains to be understood about their synergistic relationships and their potential as auxiliaries in the phytoremediation of saline soils, which is why this work addresses these challenges.

RESUMO

"Pakhoi" is an ethnic drink of the Tons valley, Uttarakhand, India produced by fermenting jaggery and barley with the help of a starter culture called "keem". In the present study, we investigated the microbial diversity and associated functional potential of "keem" using shotgun metagenome sequencing and amplicon sequencing. We also compared the taxonomic data obtained using these two sequencing techniques. The results showed that shotgun sequencing revealed a higher resolution of taxonomic profiling as compared to the amplicon sequencing. Furthermore, it was found that the genera detected by shotgun sequencing were valuable for facilitating the fermentation process. Additionally, to understand the functional profiling of the genera, different databases were used for annotation, resulting in a total of 13 metabolic pathways. The five most abundant KEGG functions were genetic information processing, metabolism, translation, cofactor and vitamin metabolism and xenobiotic degradation. In contrast, the top five COG were in order of highest frequency sequences belonging to transcription, followed by general function prediction, carbohydrate transport metabolism, amino acid transport and metabolism and translation and biogenesis. Gene ontology revealed many pathways, biochemical processes and molecular functions associated with the organisms forming the starter culture. Overall, the present study can help to understand the microbial diversity and its role in fermentation of traditional alcoholic beverages using "Keem".

RESUMO

The prominence of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in sustainable rice production has long been recognized. However, there is little information about AMF response in aerobic rice cultivation under phosphorus (P)-deficient conditions. The aim of this experiment was to compare and determine the preeminent AMF effects on rice mycorrhizal colonization, responsiveness, P utilization, and different growth-promoting traits under P-deficient conditions. Different AMF genera viz. (Funneliformis sp., Rhizophagus sp., Glomus sp., Acaulospora sp., and Claroideoglomus sp.) in four different aerobic rice varieties developed by ICAR-NRRI, India (CR Dhan 201, CR Dhan 204, CR Dhan 205, and CR Dhan 207) were investigated using the check P-susceptible variety (IR 36) and the P-tolerant variety (Kasalath IC459373). Data analyzed through linear modeling approaches and bivariate associations found that AMF colonization was highly correlated with soil enzymes, particularly fluorescein diacetate (FDA) and plant P uptake. The microbial biomass carbon (MBC) and FDA content were significantly changed among rice varieties treated with AMF compared to uninoculated control. Out of four different rice varieties, CR Dhan 207 inoculated with AMF showed higher plant P uptake compared to other varieties. In all the rice varieties, AMF colonization had higher correlation coefficients with soil enzymes (FDA), MBC, and plant P uptake than uninoculated control. The present study indicates that AMF intervention in aerobic rice cultivation under P-deficient conditions significantly increased plant P uptake, soil enzymes activities and plant growth promotion. Thus, the information gathered from this study will help us to develop a viable AMF package for sustainable aerobic rice cultivation.

RESUMO

In the era of dire environmental fluctuations, plants undergo several stressors during their life span, which severely impact their development and overall growth in negative aspects. Abiotic stress factors, especially moisture stress i.e shortage (drought) or excess (flooding), salinity, temperature divergence (i.e. heat and cold stress), heavy metal toxicity, etc. create osmotic and ionic imbalance inside the plant cells, which ultimately lead to devastating crop yield, sometimes crop failure. Apart from the array of abiotic stresses, various biotic stress caused by pathogens, insects, and nematodes also affect production. Therefore, to combat these major challenges in order to increase production, several novel strategies have been adapted, among which the use of nanoparticles (NPs) i.e. nanotechnology is becoming an emerging tool in various facets of the current agriculture system, nowadays. This present review will elaborately depict the deployment and mechanisms of different NPs to withstand these biotic and abiotic stresses, along with a brief overview and indication of the future research works to be oriented based on the steps provided for future research in advance NPs application through the sustainable way.
