RESUMO

The experience in the examination of 1,520 patients with arterial hypertension in the surgical clinic is analysed. The surgical tactics in the most common forms of symptomatic hypertension, renovascular hypertension, adrenal diseases, and coarctation of the aorta are discussed on the basis of experience in 577 operations on 512 patients. Analysis of the late postoperative results in 395 patients shows that even now the results of the operations are quite satisfactory.

RESUMO

The experience of surgical management of 16 patients with primary aldosteronism is summarized. The aspects of its diagnosis are analysed, and its possible atypical course indicated. The authors used pneumoretroperitoneography for determining the localization of the aldosteromas. The localization of an aldosteroma having been established, the best approach is the modified Smithweak's one, for the revision of both adrenal glands a median or transversal laparotomy is employed. All the 16 patients survived the operations favourably.

RESUMO

This is a collected report on 95 patients with chronic lesions of one or several visceral branches of the abdominal aorta. Restorative operations were performed on 92 patients. Necessity of examining patients with suspicion of the syndrome of chronic abdominal ischaemia in a special vascular surgery department is mandatory. For final diagnosis and choice of surgical tactics aortography in two projections is necessary. The progressive character of the disease is underlined. Restorative operations on the visceral branches of the abdominal aorta are preferred.

RESUMO

The early postoperative period in 82 patients subjected to operations on the aorta to repair blood-flow along the inferior mesenterial artery was found to have more favourable course. In 78 patients (95.1%) with the repaired blood-flow in the inferior mesenterial artery there were no cases of severe enteroparesis. The authors recommend to repair the blood flow along the inferior mesenterial artery in reconstructive operations on the aorta-femoral segment.
