RESUMO

The home health monitoring of the ECG signal acquisition and display terminal is designed with MSP430F6659 and ADS1298R chip of TI company. The basic principles of ECG col ection is introduced in the beginning, and then the overal scheme of the system is described by MSP430F6659 and ADS1298R chip as the core, and the modules peripheral interface, real-time display in LCD, data storage and USB are introduced. The ECG signal acquisition terminal designed in this paper has the characteristics of smal size, low power consumption and so on.

RESUMO

From the perspective of portable monitoring devices,we use an analog front-end AFE4490 design a module of Non-invasive blood oxygen measurement, used to collect human pulse wave signal and peak (valley) value detection and then use the principles of non-invasive oximetry calculated oxygen saturation (SPO2). This design of noninvasive oximetry module has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, and the results of test show that the measurement of oxygen saturation are correct.

RESUMO

We demonstrate a biosensor structure consisting of an IGZO (Indium-Gallium-Zinc-Oxide) TFT (thin film transistor) and an extended sensing pad. The TFT acts as the sensing and readout device, while the sensing pad ensures the isolation of biological solution from the transistor channel layer, and meanwhile increases the sensing area. The biosensor is functionalized by first applying ZnO nanorods to increase the surface area for attracting electrical charges of EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) antibodies. The device is able to selectively detect 36.2 fM of EGFR in the total protein solution of 0.1 ng/ml extracted from squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Furthermore, the conjugation duration of the functionalized device with EGFR can be limited to 3 min, implying that the biosensor has the advantage for real-time detection.
