Currently, there are no approved specific antiviral agents for novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). In this study, 10 severe patients confirmed by real-time viral RNA test were enrolled prospectively. One dose of 200 mL of convalescent plasma (CP) derived from recently recovered donors with the neutralizing antibody titers above 1:640 was transfused to the patients as an addition to maximal supportive care and antiviral agents. The primary endpoint was the safety of CP transfusion. The second endpoints were the improvement of clinical symptoms and laboratory parameters within 3 d after CP transfusion. The median time from onset of illness to CP transfusion was 16.5 d. After CP transfusion, the level of neutralizing antibody increased rapidly up to 1:640 in five cases, while that of the other four cases maintained at a high level (1:640). The clinical symptoms were significantly improved along with increase of oxyhemoglobin saturation within 3 d. Several parameters tended to improve as compared to pretransfusion, including increased lymphocyte counts (0.65 × 109/L vs. 0.76 × 109/L) and decreased C-reactive protein (55.98 mg/L vs. 18.13 mg/L). Radiological examinations showed varying degrees of absorption of lung lesions within 7 d. The viral load was undetectable after transfusion in seven patients who had previous viremia. No severe adverse effects were observed. This study showed CP therapy was well tolerated and could potentially improve the clinical outcomes through neutralizing viremia in severe COVID-19 cases. The optimal dose and time point, as well as the clinical benefit of CP therapy, needs further investigation in larger well-controlled trials.

BACKGROUND: Accumulating evidence indicates that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are potential biomarkers and key regulators of tumour development and progression. SOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2OT) is a novel lncRNA that acts as a potential biomarker and is involved in the development of cancer and cancer stem cells. However, the clinical significance and molecular mechanism of SOX2OT in bladder cancer are still unknown. METHODS: The expression level of SOX2OT was determined by RT-qPCR in a total of 106 patients with urothelial bladder cancer and in different bladder cancer cell (BCC) lines. Bladder cancer stem cells (BCSCs) were isolated from BCCs using flow cytometry based on the stem cell markers CD44 and ALDH1. Loss-of-function experiments were performed to investigate the biological roles of SOX2OT in the stemness phenotype of BCSCs. Comprehensive transcriptional analysis, RNA FISH, dual-luciferase reporter assays and western blots were performed to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying the functions of SOX2OT. RESULTS: SOX2OT was highly expressed in bladder cancer, and increased SOX2OT expression was positively correlated with a high histological grade, advanced TNM stage and poor prognosis. Further experiments demonstrated that knockdown of SOX2OT inhibited the stemness phenotype of BCSCs. Moreover, inhibition of SOX2OT delayed xenograft tumour growth and decreased metastases in vivo. Mechanistically, we found that SOX2OT was mainly distributed in the cytoplasm and positively regulated SOX2 expression by sponging miR-200c. Furthermore, SOX2 overexpression reversed the SOX2OT silencing-induced inhibition of the BCSC stemness phenotype. CONCLUSION: This study is the first to demonstrate that SOX2OT plays an important regulatory role in BCSCs and that SOX2OT may serve as a potential diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target in bladder cancer.

Importance: A vaccine against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is urgently needed. Objective: To evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of an investigational inactivated whole-virus COVID-19 vaccine in China. Interventions: In the phase 1 trial, 96 participants were assigned to 1 of the 3 dose groups (2.5, 5, and 10 µg/dose) and an aluminum hydroxide (alum) adjuvant-only group (n = 24 in each group), and received 3 intramuscular injections at days 0, 28, and 56. In the phase 2 trial, 224 adults were randomized to 5 µg/dose in 2 schedule groups (injections on days 0 and 14 [n = 84] vs alum only [n = 28], and days 0 and 21 [n = 84] vs alum only [n = 28]). Design, Setting, and Participants: Interim analysis of ongoing randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase 1 and 2 clinical trials to assess an inactivated COVID-19 vaccine. The trials were conducted in Henan Province, China, among 96 (phase 1) and 224 (phase 2) healthy adults aged between 18 and 59 years. Study enrollment began on April 12, 2020. The interim analysis was conducted on June 16, 2020, and updated on July 27, 2020. Main Outcomes and Measures: The primary safety outcome was the combined adverse reactions 7 days after each injection, and the primary immunogenicity outcome was neutralizing antibody response 14 days after the whole-course vaccination, which was measured by a 50% plaque reduction neutralization test against live severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Results: Among 320 patients who were randomized (mean age, 42.8 years; 200 women [62.5%]), all completed the trial up to 28 days after the whole-course vaccination. The 7-day adverse reactions occurred in 3 (12.5%), 5 (20.8%), 4 (16.7%), and 6 (25.0%) patients in the alum only, low-dose, medium-dose, and high-dose groups, respectively, in the phase 1 trial; and in 5 (6.0%) and 4 (14.3%) patients who received injections on days 0 and 14 for vaccine and alum only, and 16 (19.0%) and 5 (17.9%) patients who received injections on days 0 and 21 for vaccine and alum only, respectively, in the phase 2 trial. The most common adverse reaction was injection site pain, followed by fever, which were mild and self-limiting; no serious adverse reactions were noted. The geometric mean titers of neutralizing antibodies in the low-, medium-, and high-dose groups at day 14 after 3 injections were 316 (95% CI, 218-457), 206 (95% CI, 123-343), and 297 (95% CI, 208-424), respectively, in the phase 1 trial, and were 121 (95% CI, 95-154) and 247 (95% CI, 176-345) at day 14 after 2 injections in participants receiving vaccine on days 0 and 14 and on days 0 and 21, respectively, in the phase 2 trial. There were no detectable antibody responses in all alum-only groups. Conclusions and Relevance: In this interim report of the phase 1 and phase 2 trials of an inactivated COVID-19 vaccine, patients had a low rate of adverse reactions and demonstrated immunogenicity; the study is ongoing. Efficacy and longer-term adverse event assessment will require phase 3 trials. Trial Registration: Chinese Clinical Trial Registry Identifier: ChiCTR2000031809.

PURPOSE: To present our initial experience in the management of multiple ureteral polyps with robotic or laparoscopic ileal ureter replacement (IUR). METHODS: Eight consecutive patients diagnosed with multiple ureteral polyps underwent robotic or laparoscopic IUR between July 2019 and November 2022. Unilateral IUR was performed in 5 patients with polyps in the left (n = 3) or right (n = 2) side, and 3 patients with bilateral multiple polyps underwent bilateral IUR. Demographic characteristics, perioperative data and follow-up outcomes were prospectively collected. RESULTS: A cohort of 5 male and 3 female patients (11 ureters) with a mean age of 32.8 ± 11.3 years were included. Among these patients, 5 presented with recurrent flank pain, 1 had hematuria, and 2 were asymptomatic. Four patients experienced prior failed surgical interventions. The mean length of diseased ureter was 11.9 ± 4.7 cm, with more than 10 cm in eight sides. All procedures were performed successfully. The mean operation time was 319 ± 87.6 min with 3 patients who simultaneously underwent intraoperative ureteroscopy. The mean length of ileal graft was 23.8 ± 5.8 cm. During the mean follow-up of 20.4 ± 12.8 months, one major complication, specifically incision infection, and four minor complications, including urinary infection (n = 3) and metabolic acidosis (n = 1), were observed. All patients presented symptom-free, with improved/stabilized hydronephrosis and no signs of restenosis. CONCLUSION: Robotic or laparoscopic IUR is a feasible, safe, and effective surgical option for patients with long ureteral defects caused by multiple polyps.

BACKGROUND: Emerging evidence identifies enhancer RNAs (eRNAs) as a class of regulatory ncRNAs that can contribute to the transcription of target genes. In this study, we used an integrated data analysis method to identify the important role of eRNAs in ovarian cancer (OC). METHODS: Gene expression profiles and clinical information from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database were used for this study. Based on expression analysis using GEPIA2 gene and Kaplan-Meier survival was performed to ensure the significance of the selected enhancer RNA ADCY10P1 in OC. Next, we explored the correlation and clinical significance between ADCY10P1 and target gene NFYA. Furthermore, we evaluated the effects of overexpression of ADCY10P1 on the proliferation, migration, invasion and epithelial-mesenchymal transformation (EMT) of OC cell lines. We also investigated the biological function enrichment score of ADCY10P1 and verified it with OC cell lines. Finally, external validation was conducted, and the prognostic value of the ADCY10P1 in different tumors was demonstrated. RESULTS: We selected the eRNA ADCY10P1 associated with OC prognosis, with NFYA as its predicted target gene. Low ADCY10P1 expression was found to be associated with poor overall survival, high histological grade, and advanced stage of OC. Additionally, overexpression of ADCY10P1 inhibited the proliferation, migration, invasion and EMT phenotype of OC cell lines. Furthermore, ADCY10P1 was observed to inhibit glycolysis and fatty acid metabolism, thereby affecting OC progression. Meanwhile, OC tissue samples were externally validated. In addition, the pan-cancer analysis revealed that ADCY10P1 had prognostic value in other cancers. CONCLUSIONS: This study showed that ADCY10P1 plays a key role in OC progression and may facilitate prognosis prediction.

BACKGROUND: Identify immune-related gene pairs (IRGPs) signature related to the prognosis and immunotherapeutic efficiency for bladder cancer (BLCA) patients. MATERIALS AND METHODS: One RNA-seq dataset (The Cancer Genome Atlas Program) and two microarray datasets (GSE13507 and GSE31684) were included in this study. We defined these cohorts as training set to construct IRGPs and one immunotherapy microarray dataset as validation set. Identifying BLCA subclasses based on IRGPs by consensus clustering. The Lasso penalized Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to construct prognostic signature and potential molecular mechanisms were analyzed. RESULTS: This signature can accurately predict the overall survival of BLCA patients and was verified in the immunotherapy validation set. IRGP-signatures can be used as independent prognostic risk factor in various clinical subgroups. Use the CIBERSORT algorithm to assess the abundance of infiltrating immune cells in each sample, and combine the results of the gene set enrichment analysis of a single sample to explore the differences in the immune microenvironment between IRPG signature groups. According to the results of GSVA, GSEA, and CIBERSORT algorithm, we found that IRGP is strikingly positive correlated with tumor microenvironment (TME) stromal cells infiltration, indicating that the poor prognosis and immunotherapy might be caused partly by enrichment of stromal cells. Finally, the results from the TIDE analysis revealed that IRGP could efficiently predict the response of immunotherapy in BLCA. CONCLUSION: The novel IRGP signature has a significant prognostic value for BLCA patients might facilitate personalized for immunotherapy.

BACKGROUND: Osteosarcoma is a tumour of malignant origin in children and adolescents. Recent progression indicates that it is necessary to develop new therapies to improve the patient's prognosis rather than strengthen anti-tumour chemotherapy. Researchers recently realised that cancer is a kind of disease with a metabolic disorder, and metabolic reprogramming is becoming a new cancer hallmark. Hence, our study's primary purpose is to explore the value of genes related to osteosarcoma metabolism. METHODS: From public databases, three osteosarcoma datasets with adequate clinical information were obtained. Besides, the IMvigor dataset through the 'IMvigor' package as a supplement was downloaded, the metabolic-related genes were identified, and these genes were used to construct the metabolic-related gene pairs (MRGP). Based on the prognosis-related MRGP, two molecular subtypes were identified. There are significant differences in the metabolic characteristics between the two molecular subtypes. Subsequently, the MRGP signature is constructed using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression method. Finally, use SubMap analysis to evaluate the response of patients in the MRPG signature group to immunotherapy. RESULTS: The MRGP signature can reliably predict overall survival in patients with osteosarcoma. The MRGP signature is also associated with osteosarcoma patients' metastatic status and can be used for subsequent risk classification of metastatic patients. The immunotherapy is more likely to benefit the patients in the MRGP low-risk group. CONCLUSION: Metabolic-related gene pairs signature can assess the prognosis of patients with osteosarcoma.

BACKGROUND: We aimed to assess the safety and immunogenicity of an inactivated vaccine against COVID-19 in Chinese adults aged ≥18 years. METHODS: This is an ongoing randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase 1/2 clinical trial among healthy adults aged ≥18 years in Henan Province, China. Participants (n = 336 in 18-59 age group and n = 336 in ≥60 age group) were enrolled between April 12 and May 17 2020, and were equally randomized to receive vaccine or placebo (aluminum hydroxide adjuvant) in a three-dose schedule of 2·5, 5, or 10 µg on days 0, 28, and 56. Another 448 adults aged 18-59 years were equally allocated to four groups (a one-dose schedule of 10 µg, and two-dose schedules of 5 µg on days 0 and 14/21/28) and received vaccine or placebo (ratio 3:1 within each group). The primary outcomes were 7-day post-injection adverse reactions and neutralizing antibody titres on days 28 and 90 after the whole-course vaccination. Trial registration: www.chictr.org.cn #ChiCTR2000031809. FINDINGS: The 7-day adverse reactions occurred in 4·8% to 32·1% of the participants in various groups, and most adverse reactions were mild, transient, and self-limiting. Twenty participants reported 68 serious adverse events which were judged to be unrelated to the vaccine. The 90-day post-injection geometric mean titres of neutralizing antibody ranged between 87 (95% CI: 61-125) and 129 (99-169) for three-dose schedule among younger and older adults; 20 (14-27), 53 (38-75), and 44 (32-61) in 5 µg days 0 and 14/21/28 groups, respectively, and 7 (6-9) in one-dose 10 µg group. There were no detectable antibody responses in all placebo groups. INTERPRETATION: The inactivated vaccine against COVID-19 was well tolerated and immunogenic in both younger and older adults. The two-dose schedule of 5 µg on days 0 and 21/28 and three-dose schedules on days 0, 28, and 56 could be further evaluated for long-term safety and efficacy in the phase 3 trials.

PURPOSE: Adding pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND) to cystectomy offers significant survival benefit. However, it remains unclear whether this benefit persists in all histologic types. The aim of the study was to examine the impact of PLND on overall survival (OS) after cystectomy in bladder carcinoma patients with histological variants. METHODS: Within the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results database, we identified 16,880 bladder carcinoma patients receiving cystectomy between 2004 and 2015. Patients were stratified according to the following histologic types: transitional cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, small cell carcinoma, neuroendocrine carcinoma, signet ring cell carcinoma, pseudosarcomatous carcinoma, and other histology. Cox regression models were used to evaluate the effect of PLND on OS stratified by histologic type. RESULTS: Histologic types were significantly associated with the presence of lymph node metastasis in patients with bladder carcinoma (P < 0.001). In multivariable Cox regression analyses, PLND compared with non-PLND was associated with OS benefit in patients with transitional cell carcinoma (hazard ratio [HR], 0.595; 95% confidence interval [95% CI], 0.557-0.634 [P < 0.001]), squamous cell carcinoma (HR, 0.646; 95% CI, 0.494-0.846 [P = 0.002]), and signet ring cell carcinoma (HR, 0.233; 95% CI, 0.107-0.504 [P < 0.001]), whereas no significant differences in OS were observed in other histological subsets. DISCUSSION: Our analyses revealed a significant OS benefit from PLND in patients with transitional cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and signet ring cell carcinoma. However, a survival benefit of PLND in patients with other histologic types was not demonstrated.

BACKGROUND: Accumulating evidence have highlighted the importance of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in multiple cancers development and progression. Cancer susceptibility candidate 9 (CASC9) is a novel long non-coding RNA and plays important regulatory role in diverse biological processes of cancers. However, the clinical significance and molecular mechanism of CASC9 in bladder cancer is still unknown. METHODS: Comprehensive lncRNAs profiling analysis were conducted to identify lncRNAs profile alterations and uncover valuable lncRNA candidates for bladder cancer. The expression level of CASC9 was determined in a total of 106 patients with bladder cancer. Loss-of-function experiments were performed to identify the functions of CASC9 in tumor growth and metastasis of bladder cancer in vitro and in vivo. Bioinformatics analysis and further experiments were performed to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying the functions of CASC9. RESULTS: This study found that CASC9 expression was markedly upregulated in bladder cancer and related to histological grade, TNM stage and prognosis. Knockdown of CASC9 inhibited tumor growth and metastasis of bladder cancer in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, we found that CASC9 functions as a miRNA sponge to positively regulate FZD6 expression and subsequently activates Wnt/ß-catenin signaling pathway, thus playing an oncogenic role in bladder cancer pathogenesis. CONCLUSION: In summary, lncRNA CASC9 plays a critical regulatory role in bladder cancer. The CASC9/miR-497-5p/ FZD6 axis provides insights for regulatory mechanism of bladder cancer, and new strategies for clinical practice.

PURPOSE: Identify immune-related lncRNA (IRL) signature related to the prognosis and immunotherapeutic efficiency for bladder cancer (BLCA) patients. METHODS: A total of 397 samples, which contained RNA-seq and clinical information from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, were used for the following study. Then the Lasso penalized Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to construct prognostic signature. According to the optimal cut-off value determined by time-dependent ROC curve, low and high-risk groups were set up. One immunotherapy microarray dataset as validation set was used to verify the ability of predicting immunotherapy efficacy. Furthermore, more evaluation between two risk groups related clinical factors were conducted. Finally, external validation of IRL-signature was conducted in Zhengzhou cohort. RESULT: Four IRLs (HCP5, IPO5P1, LINC00942, and LINC01356) with significant prognostic value (P<0.05) were distinguished. This signature can accurately predict the overall survival of BLCA patients and was verified in the immunotherapy validation set. IRL-signatures can be used as independent prognostic risk factor in various clinical subgroups. According to the results of GSVA and MCP algorithm, we found that IRL-signature risk score is strikingly negative correlated with tumor microenvironment (TME) CD8+T cells and Cytotoxic lymphocytes infiltration, indicating that the better prognosis and immunotherapy might be caused partly by these. Then, the results from the TIDE analysis revealed that IRL could efficiently predict the response of immunotherapy in BLCA. External validation had similar results with TCGA-BLCA cohort. CONCLUSIONS: The novel IRL-signature has a significant prognostic value for BLCA patients might facilitate predicting the efficacy of immunotherapy.

BACKGROUND: Accumulating emerging studies have demonstrated that systemic inflammation can obviously affect tumor occurrence and progression. Nevertheless, the prognostic value of hematological inflammation biomarkers in bladder cancer is controversial. Thus, we conducted a meta-analysis to evaluate the key hematological biomarkers with various clinical outcomes in bladder cancer. METHODS: We used online databases PUBMED and EMBASE to search relevant studies published prior to August 2019. After collecting the basic characteristics and prognostic data from the studies included, overall survival (OS), cancer-specific survival (CSS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were used as primary results. Subgroup analyses were performed according to ethnicity, the number of samples, survival outcomes, the value of cut-off, follow-up time and metastasis stage. RESULTS: Thirty-three independent studies with 17,087 bladder cancer patients were added in the present analysis. The collected results showed that the increased neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio was associated with a poor OS (hazard ratio [HR] = 1.48, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.32-1.67, P < .00001), CSS (HR = 1.71, 95%CI: 1.35-2.18, P < .0001) and PFS (HR = 1.59, 95%CI: 1.38-1.83, P < .00001). Additionally, the elevated platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio was related to a poor OS (HR = 1.29, 95% CI: 1.07-1.54, P = .007), CSS (HR = 1.14, 95%CI = 0.98-1.34, P = .02) and PFS (HR = 1.2, 95%CI: 1.08-1.34, P = .0008). Moreover, a decreased lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio was associated with a poor OS (HR = 0.77, 95% CI: 0.70-0.84, P = .001), CSS (HR = 0.76, 95%CI: 0.70-0.84). An elevated modified Glasgow prognostic score was also associated with a poor OS (HR = 2.71, 95%CI: 1.08-2.82, P = .003), CSS (HR = 1.50, 95%CI: 0.56-4.05) and PFS (HR = 1.52, 95%CI: 1.23-1.88, P = .001). CONCLUSIONS: Our study indicated that the pretreatment hematological biomarkers (neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio, lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio, and modified Glasgow prognostic score) were predicative biomarkers of prognosis in bladder cancer patients. Further research is needed to conduct further prospective and multicenter studies to confirm our findings.

RESUMO

The purpose of this study is to establish the prognosis of osteosarcoma patients based on the characteristics of immune-related gene pairs. We used the lasso Cox regression model to construct and verify the signature consisting of 14 immune-related gene pairs. This signature can accurately predict the overall survival of osteosarcoma patients and is an independent prognostic factor for osteosarcoma patients. For this we constructed a signature-based nomogram. The results of the nomogram show that our signature can bring clinical net benefits. We then assessed the abundance of infiltrating immune cells in each sample, and combine the results of the gene set enrichment analysis of a single sample to explore the differences in the immune microenvironment between IRPG signature groups. The result of gene set enrichment analysis shows the strong relationship between signature and immune system. Finally, we evaluated the relationship between signature and immunotherapy efficiency using algorithms such as TIMI and SubMap to explore patients who might benefit from immunotherapy. In conclusion, our signature can predict the overall survival rate of osteosarcoma patients and provide potential guidance for exploring patients who may benefit from immunotherapy.

Background: Several recent studies have reported the reliable prognostic effect of hematological biomarkers in various tumors. Yet, the prognostic value of these hematological markers in soft tissue sarcoma (STS) remains inconclusive. Thus, the aim of this meta-analysis was to check the effect of hematological markers on the prognosis of STS. Methods: We systematically searched for relevant papers published before October 2019 in the PubMed and EMBASE databases. Overall survival (OS) and disease-specific survival (DSS) were the primary outcome, whereas disease-free survival was the secondary outcome. A thorough study of hazard ratios (HR) and 95% of confidence intervals (CIs) was done for determining the prognostic significance. Results: We performed 23 studies that comprised of 4,480 patients with STS. The results revealed that higher neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), C-reactive protein (CRP), and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) were associated with poor OS/DFS (HR = 2.08/1.72, for NLR; HR = 1.92/1.75, for CRP, and HR = 1.86/1.61, for PLR). In contrast, a low lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) was relate to worse OS/DFS (HR = 2.01/1.90, for LMR). Moreover, pooled analysis illustrated that elevated NLR and CRP represents poor DSS, with HRs of 1.46 and 2.06, respectively. In addition, combined analysis revealed that higher Glasgow prognostic score (GPS) was linked to an adverse OS/DSS (HR = 2.35/2.77). Conclusion: Our meta-analysis suggested that hematological markers (NLR, CRP, PLR, LMR, and GPS) are one of the important prognostic indicators for patients affected by high-grade STS and patients with the STS being located in the extremity.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the safety and efficacy of lyophilized purified human rabies vaccine CTN-Vero RV, CTN strain produced in Vero cells. METHODS: 450 healthy volunteers were divided into two groups, with 300 of them receiving CTN-Vero-RV (rabies vaccine for human use made in Vero cells with CTN strain) while 150 of them receiving PVRV to serve as control group. All the subjects were immunized on days 0, 3, 7, 14 and 28 at deltoid muscle respectively. Local and systemic reactions were observed and sera were collected for neutralizing antibody testing using RFFIT. 365 and 730 days after the first dose, sera from the 212 and 176 subjects of the studied group while 97 and 80 subjects from the control group were collected to test for neutralizing antibody. RESULTS: No severe local or systemic reactions were observed after immunization was performed in the two groups. On days 3, 7, 14, 28 and 365 after the first dose, the antibody positive rates appeared to be 2.35%, 80.78%, 100.00%, 100.00%, 98.58% and 73.30% in the study group and 4.00%, 87.20%, 100.00%, 100.00%, 97.94% and 76.25% in the controls respectively. On day 0, 3, 7, 14, 28, 365 and 730, GMT of the neutralizing antibody level were 0.12, 1.01, 9.83, 12.61, 3.68 and 2.81 IU/ml in the study group while 0.13, 1.18, 10.24, 11.61, 4.18 and 1.92 IU/ml were seen in the control group respectively. There were no significant differences in both antibody positive rates and GMT between the two groups on days 3, 7, 14, 28, 365 or 730 (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: CTN-Vero-RV was safe and effective as well as could generate a persistent immune response.
