Studies with the use of highly sensitive enzymatic sensor have shown the presence of various forms of nitrosyl iron complexes, including those undetectable by other methods, in living tissues. All these complexes are long-living compounds and constitute the major part of nitroso compounds in the blood, muscles, liquor, and amniotic fluid.

The exposure to green light, which serves as a well-known activating factor for myogenesis during incubation of chicken eggs, contributes to intensification of embryonic metabolism of NO. A metabolic product, nitrate, is mainly accumulated in the muscles. These data suggest that light induces a NO-dependent activation of the factor, which intensifies muscle tissue development.

Morphological study of eyelid biopsy tissues with varying degrees of age-related changes revealed sclerosis, infiltration, expansion and the convoluted configuration of the walls of blood vessels, stasis, reflecting microcirculation disturbance in the skin. Decrease in elasticity, elasticity and skin turgor in aging eyelids is largely due to the thinning, randomly distributed bundles of collagen and a decrease in the number or total absence of elastic fibers. In 31 patients with blepharohalasis laser Doppler flowmetry revealed a failure in the neuromuscular regulation of vascular tone, which is a manifestation of chronic stagnation in the microcirculatory bed. Revealed changes in the morphological structure of eyelid skin and microcirculatory bed confirm the trophic disturbances and congestion occurring in the skin of eyelids with aging.

We studied morphological changes in rat abdominal aorta and vena cava inferior induced by endovascular microwave destruction. This treatment induced thrombosis and necrosis of the vascular walls, but fibrous framework was not completely destroyed. Then we observed irreversible changes in vessels: obliteration, atrophy of the aorta walls, and sclerosis of venous walls. The preserved fibrous framework of the vessel walls probably plays a role of a framework for the formation of fibrous tissue.

The morphology of aneurysmal bone cysts (ABC) in 10 children was studied by light and scanning electron microscopy. Angiodysplasia signs and disorder of bone remodeling occur in ABC areas leading to secondary hemodynamic disorders and abnormal bone remodeling with predominance of resorption in dynamics of remodeling.

We studied morphological changes in the liver after local MW-destruction. Microwave radiation damaged vascular walls with the formation of extensive necrotic focus; demarcation zone appeared 24 h after exposure, encapsulation occurred after 7 days, and replacement with a fine cicatrix formed by mature connective tissue after 4 months.
