RESUMO

Optoelectronic memristors are new multifunctional devices with both electrically tunable and light-tunable synaptic plasticity, attracting great attention as key promising devices for optoelectronic neuromorphic computing systems. At present, the conductance modulation in most optoelectronic memristors is conducted in a hybrid photoelectric mode, suffering some problems such as heat generation and control complexity. Here, an optoelectronic memristor based on the p+-Si/n-ZnO heterojunction is proposed where the conductance can be reversibly modulated in an all-optically controlled mode. The electron detrapping/trapping mechanism at the p+-Si/n-ZnO interface barrier region is presented to explain the light-induced conductance potentiation/depression behavior. Furthermore, some synaptic functions, including excitatory postsynaptic current (EPSC), inhibitory postsynaptic current (IPSC), and paired-pulse facilitation (PPF), are successfully mimicked in the p+-Si/n-ZnO heterojunction memristor, instructing its application potential for optoelectronic neuromorphic computing.

This paper reports a novel flexible film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR) based on -phase polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) piezoelectric polymer. The proposed device was simulated and evaluated; then, a low-temperature photolithography process with a double exposure method was developed to pattern the electrodes for the device, which enabled the device to retain the piezoelectric properties of the -phase PVDF film. Results showed that the ß-phase PVDF FBARs had a resonant frequency round 9.212 with a high electromechanical coupling coefficient () of 12.76% ± 0.56%. The device performed well over a wide bending-strain range up to 2400 owing to its excellent flexibility. It showed good stability as a strain sensor with a sensitivity of 80 , and no visible deterioration was observed after cyclic bending tests. The PVDF FBAR also exhibited an exceptionally large temperature coefficient of frequency (TCF) of -4630 , two orders of magnitude larger than those of other FBARs based on common inorganic piezoelectric materials, extraordinarily high sensitivity for temperature sensing. All results showed that -phase PVDF FBARs have the potential to expand the application scope for future flexible electronics.

OBJECTIVE: To conduct a comprehensive systematic meta-analysis investigating the association of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and their subtypes with skin cancer (SC) and its subclasses (basal cell carcinoma BCC; squamous cell carcinoma SCC; melanoma; nonmelanoma skin cancer NMSC) in general, American and European populations. METHODS: PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure and ClinicalTrials.gov were searched up to 24 February 2019. Pooled effect sizes and 95% confidence intervals were used to estimate associations. RESULTS: Results based on 26 original studies including 223,619 cases and 1,398,507 controls showed both NSAIDs and nonselective Cyclooxygenase (COX) inhibitors to be statistically significantly associated with a reduced risk of SC, BCC, SCC and NMSC but not with melanoma. Conversely, no association was observed between selective Cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) inhibitors and SC or its subclasses. Further subgroup analysis showed that the results analyzed for American populations were almost the same as those for the general population. For European populations, neither NSAIDs nor its subtypes correlated significantly with susceptibility to SC or its subclasses. CONCLUSIONS: The use of NSAIDs might reduce the risk of SC, but many factors including study population, drug subtype, and disease subclass affect the significance of the association.
