RESUMO

The granular cell tumour is a very rare tumour which originates in the Schwann cells, and is generally benign. It is usually located in the head and neck, and its appearance in the breast is uncommon. Although it is rare tumour, granular cell tumours of the breast have a higher prevalence than previously recognised. This tumour usually imitates breast cancer due to its clinical and imaging data, with its diagnosis being by histopathology. The treatment is a wide local excision, and its prognosis is good with a low recurrence rate. We present two cases of granular tumours of the breast in post-menopausal women that simulated a breast carcinoma in the ultrasound and mammography. The first was detected in the breast cancer screening program, and the second during follow up of an invasive ductal carcinoma.

RESUMO

INTRODUCTION: In our experience we often observe urinary upper tract dilatation after urinari diversion with bowel. To spare useful approaches and therapeutics we have used diuretic renogram. MATERIAL AND METHOD: 26 patients with urinary diversion (Mainz II or Paduana ileal neobladder). We performance ultrasound, urography and diuretic renogram. RESULTS: Follow-up is between 1 y 4 years. After urinary diversion, 54% of the upper tracts are dilated but only 39.3% of them are obstructed in the diuretic renogram. Normal urographic tracts are normal or have good response in the diuretic renogram. Results goes on in the time. CONCLUSIONS: Diuretic renogram is a useful tool in the diagnosis of upper urinary tract obstruction after urinary diversion.

RESUMO

The pseudothrombophlebitis syndrome is a complication of ruptured or dissecting synovial cyst in the knee joint (Baker's cyst). Three cases are reported of this clinical entity characterized by symptoms and signs suggesting deep vein thrombophlebitis. We mainly discuss the clinicoradiological aspects.
