RESUMO
Our research aims to investigate the fabrication of additively manufactured (AMed) Ti-6Al-4V samples under reduced power with the addition of TiC heterogeneous nucleation site particles. For this aim, Ti-6Al-4V samples are fabricated with and without TiC heterogeneous nucleation site particles using an EOS M 290 machine under optimal parameters and reduced power conditions. The microstructure and tensile behavior of the produced samples were studied. In addition, a single-track test was performed to obtain a good understanding of the suppression of gas pores and balling formation with the addition of TiC heterogeneous nucleation site particles. It was found that the formation of gas pores and balling was suppressed with the addition of heterogeneous nucleation site particles within the metallic powder.
RESUMO
Detailed observations of the single mode H-field heated magnetite was conducted. The heated magnetite contains a shiny area, which exists in the width of 5 mm and thickness in 1 mm. The observation of the area reveals wavy surface patterns. The microstructures of the shiny area consists of an undefined phase and a magnetite phase which fills the space among the undefined phases. The XRD pattern from the shiny area is different from that of the random magnetite crystals, which is caused by the magnetite grains having almost same orientation in large area. There are banded areas surrounding the undefined phase of several microns in thickness, in which the existence of nano-sized crystals is indicated by means of EBSD and TEM.

To date, medical guidance for patients undergoing cancer chemotherapy has mainly been with regard to individual medicines. Only a few reports have been available dealing with information on side effects by a regimen unit. Therefore, we accumulated information on side effects and made a pamphlet for patients with malignant lymphoma undergoing peripheral blood stem cell transplantation after Melphalan (L-PAM), Cyclophosphamide (Endoxan), VP-16 (etoposide) and Dexamethasone (LEED)therapy, for the purpose of explanation for patients on pharmacist's rounds. This pamphlet consists of time schedule of anticancer therapy, harmful phenomena due to cancer chemotherapy and counterplans for such side effects. Easy-to-understand graphics are used to explain the appearance and duration of side effects by anticancer agents. This pamphlet will serve to improve comprehension and the attitude of patients toward cancer chemotherapy. The pamphlets will also be a useful tool to reassure patients on pharmacist's rounds.
