RESUMO

Characteristic of psychosomatic disorders is their occurrence in temporal relation to intense emotions. A fortuitous association is to be ruled out in case repetitions, emotional provocation of the symptoms or their abatement under anesthesia. The concomitant action of a physical disposition is explained by means for examples; then, also other inciting moments may appear and influence prognosis. While mostly psychosomatic disorders subside quickly, the crucial factors for chronification are harmful environment, somatic or psychic disposition. In the latter case, the internist generally seeks the consultant's advice. Suggestions are given to further steps in the development of knowledge on the diagnosis of neuroses and to the collaboration with the specialist for psychotherapy. Emphasis is placed on the importance of developing theoretical knowledge.

RESUMO

Increase in energy and release of energy are essentially regulated instinctively. The afferences from the exterior and interior milieu, the central impulse zones and the efferences form a system which may be affected by disturbances at different sites. In persons with an obesity of high degree in the majority of cases also other nervous and hormonal disturbances can be proved. The wide-spread obesity as a popular disease is based on unnatural impulses and inhibitions of the regulatory mechanisms. In this milieu the success of the treatment depends on the fact that the patient experiences greater promptings than pleasure in eating and comfort.

RESUMO

In internal medicine neuroses are emphasized by physical symptomatology. In the contest with the environment the psychic reaction is a regulator for the motor and vegetative conditions of action. However, the vegetative emotional reactions take place autonomously according to the laws of the instinct behaviour, whereas the motor emotional reaction is oppressed and a voluntary motor action regulated by thinking is substituted. The coordination disturbance can reach the value of a disease. Hereby in detail organic dispositions, environmental damages, wrong programmations of the behaviour in form of reflex and primarily psychic faulty developments play a role as well as secondary defective psychic developments by advantage through disease.
