RESUMO

Between August and September, 2021, this study included 605 SARS-CoV-2 natural infection cases and 589 SARS-CoV-2 breakthrough cases from Nanjing and Yangzhou, as well as 690 inactivated COVID-19 vaccine recipients from Changzhou, China. In SARS-CoV-2 natural infection cases, the age range was 19-91 years (median age: 66 year), and the medians(Q1,Q3) of IgG titers were 0.19 (0.06-1.31), 3.70 (0.76-69.48), 15.31 (2.59-82.16), 4.41 (0.99-31.74), 2.31 (0.75-13.83), 2.28 (0.68-9.94) and 2.80 (1.00-9.53) at one to seven weeks after SARS-CoV-2 infection, respectively. In SARS-CoV-2 breakthrough cases, the age range was 18-76 years (median age: 45 year), and the medians(Q1,Q3)of IgG titers were 1.93 (0.34-26.67), 38.87 (7.90-121.0), 75.09 (11.85-123.70), 21.97 (5.20-95.58), 13.97 (3.47-46.82), 9.56 (2.48-33.38) and 4.38 (1.87-11.00) at one to seven weeks after SARS-CoV-2 infection, respectively. In inactivated COVID-19 vaccine recipients, the age range was 18-87 years (median age: 47 years), and the medians(Q1,Q3)of IgG titers were 16.22 (15.84-33.42), 5.35 (2.96-13.23), 3.30 (2.18-6.18), 3.14 (1.16-5.70), 2.77 (1.50-4.52), 2.72 (1.76-4.36), 2.01 (1.27-3.51) and 1.94 (1.35-3.09) at one to eight months after SARS-CoV-2 infection, respectively. The results suggested that IgG antibodies increased gradually within two weeks after SARS-CoV-2 infection, then declined gradually at three to seven weeks in SARS-CoV-2 natural infection cases. In SARS-CoV-2 breakthrough cases, IgG antibodies increased rapidly within two weeks, then declined gradually at three to seven weeks after SARS-CoV-2 infection. Additionally, IgG antibodies decreased rapidly within three months, then decreased gradually and remained at a low level within three months after immunization.

RESUMO

Objective: To explore the effect of remote "Internet+" interactive management strategy on blood pressure control in patients with hypertension during normalized epidemic prevention and control of COVID-19. Methods: This is a randomized controlled study. A total of 394 patients with hypertension who were treated in Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital from October 2019 to December 2020 were randomly divided into experimental group (197 cases) and control group (197 cases). The experimental group adopted remote "Internet+" interaction mode to carry out remote blood pressure intervention, and the control group received traditional blood pressure control mode, and the intervention time was 6 months. Evaluation indicators included blood pressure level, blood pressure lowering speed, time to target blood pressure, blood pressure measurement times, communication times with doctors, medication compliance, blood pressure measurement compliance and disease awareness after 6 months of intervention. The evaluation indexes of the two groups were compared, and the bivariate Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the relationship between the speed of blood pressure reduction and the times of blood pressure measurement and doctor communication in all patients. Results: A total of 394 patients with hypertension were included in this study, including 209 males, aged (67.6±2.8) years old. After 6 months of intervention, the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the two groups were both lower than the baseline blood pressure before intervention (both P<0.05), the systolic blood pressure ((125.7±11.7) mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa) vs. (132.6±12.9) mmHg, P<0.001) and diastolic blood pressure ((72.4±10.7) mmHg vs. (79.8±11.6) mmHg, P<0.001) in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group. The blood pressure reduction speed of the experimental group was faster than that of the control group ((18.63±1.59) mmHg/d vs. (13.26±2.85) mmHg/d, P<0.001), and the time to reach the target blood pressure in the experimental group was shorter than that in the control group ((23.69±2.93) d vs. (47.12±5.81) d, P<0.001). Compared with the control group, the blood pressure measurement times ((0.98±0.13) times/d vs. (0.20±0.40) times/d, P<0.05) and the number of communications with doctors ((0.97±0.16) times/week vs. (0.12±0.32) times/week, P<0.05) were significantly higher in the experimental group. Correlation analysis showed that the speed of blood pressure reduction was positively correlated with the number of blood pressure measurements (r=0.419, P<0.01) and the number of communications with doctors (r=0.857, P<0.01). The proportion of standardized medication (93.91% (185/197) vs. 51.78% (102/197), P<0.001), timely measurement (97.46% (192/197) vs. 47.21% (93/197), P<0.001) and high-degree disease awareness (94.42% (186/197) vs. 49.24% (97/197), P<0.001) were significantly higher in the experimental group than those in the control group. Conclusions: The remote "Internet+" interactive management strategy can effectively improve patients' blood pressure control. The doctor-patient interaction can improve medication compliance and measurement compliance of patients, and help shorten the time to reach the target blood pressure.

RESUMO

Objective: To retrospectively analyze the antimicrobial resistance phenotype and molecular typing characteristics of Salmonella (S.) typhi and S. paratyphi in Jiangsu province from 2012 to 2015. Methods: The samples were collected from typhoid and paratyphoid patients in Jiangsu province. The biochemical identification and serotyping were carried out after isolation and culture. Kirby-Bauer (K-B) testing was used to detect the drug susceptibility of the strains. The molecular typing characteristics of S. typhi and S. paratyphi were analyzed by pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). Results: The resistant rates of 134 S. typhi and S. paratyphi A strains to nalidixic acid were highest (61.2% and 86.7%), while the resistant rates to remaining antibiotics were less than 15.0%. Most of S. typhi and S. paratyphi A strains were resistant to only one antibiotic. Multidrug-resistant (MDR) strains of S. typhi and S. paratyphi A accounted for 2.6% and 13.3% respectively. The composition of the all-sensitive strains of S. typhi increased by 44.3% in 2015, at the same time, there were also MDR S. paratyphi A strains, which were resistant to 5 and 6 antibiotics. S. paratyphi A could be divided into eight molecular patterns by PFGE, showing that the similarity between the MDR strains and other strains was relatively low. The S. paratyphi A strains with same pattern were resistant to same antibiotics. S. typhi could be divided into 68 molecular patterns by PFGE, with large variability between different patterns. There was no corresponding relationship between the patterns and the drug resistance characteristics. Conclusions: The overall antibiotic resistance of S. typhi and S. paratyphi A strains showed a decreasing trend, but the number of antibiotics to which they were resistant increased. PFGE patterns of S. typhi showed diversity without correspondence to antibiotic characteristics. PFGE patterns of S. paratyphi A were less with correspondence to antibiotic characteristics. We should pay more attention to key patterns in key areas.

RESUMO

Resveratrol, a phytopolyphenol compound found chiefly in grapes and wine, has been reported to have a variety of anti-inflammatory, anti-platelet, and anti-carcinogenic effects. However, little is known about the effects of resveratrol on ovarian development and oocyte apoptosis. We investigated the effects of resveratrol on ovarian development in rats with different ages [from post-natal day (PD) 1 to 15 months], as well as on oocyte apoptosis in PD1 and PD2 rat ovaries. We show that: a) ip injection of resveratrol (20 mg/kg/day) increased the percentage of unassembled follicles and the total number of oocytes in PD1 and PD2 rat ovaries. Similar results were obtained when mothers were treated with resveratrol (20 mg/kg/day) by intragastric administration from day 11, after the detection of vaginal plug, until delivery. In PD4 rat ovaries, the total number of oocytes was significantly increased in the groups treated with resveratrol. Moreover, more unassembled follicles and fewer primary follicles were present in the groups treated with resveratrol than in the controls; b) in 15-month-old rat ovaries, resveratrol increased the number of resting follicles and total oocytes, and decreased the number of developing follicles and atretic follicles; 3) the percentage of TUNEL-positive oocytes decreased in PD1 and PD2 rat ovaries after resveratrol treatment, and the number of oocytes positive for Foxo3a, Bim, and p27KIP1 in PD2 rat ovaries was lower in the resveratrol treatment group than in controls. These results suggest that resveratrol may delay oocyte nest breakdown and inhibit both the primordial-to-developing-follicle transition and apoptosis by decreasing the activation of Foxo3a, Bim, and p27KIP1, thus augmenting the resting follicle reserves, maintaining regular estrous cycles of early aged rats and delaying climacterium.
