The article analyses 37 cases of autodermatoplasty. The purulent wound was prepared for grafting by electrochemically activated solutions (ECAS) in 25 and by salve dressings in 12 patients. The duration of the preparation was three times schorter with the use of ECAS than in treatment with salve dressings. Skin grafts treated by ECAS "took" in 100% of cases, those preparated by salve dressings--in 75%.

The authors suggest a new method for sanitation of the bronchial pathways, making use of electrochemically activated solution of 0.8% potassium chloride, pN 2.5-3.0, that results in rapid fibrin lysis, microflora death and elimination of the purulent discharge from the bronchial routes, alleviation of inflammatory edema and pain. The solution is simple to make and use, economic, and brings about a rapid effect, giving no allergic reactions.

Experience with the treatment of 81 patient with non-formed intestinal fistulas has shown that in high small intestinal fistulas and impossibility of their obturation, the operative intervention should be early, as the conservative methods and expectant tactics lead to irreversible aggravation of the state of the patients. In forced operative interventions in patients with peritonitis, the intra-aortal administration of the drugs permits to improve the results of treatment.

Electrochemically activated 0.8% solutions of potassium chloride are marked by high bactericidal and bacteriostatic activity, do not possess toxic properties, are easily tolerated by the patients, and promote melting of fibrin and necrotic tissues. With their use granulations and epithelialization occur more rapidly and the terms of treatment and the associated economical expenditures are reduced.

A brief of the literature dealing with perforations of the gastrointestinal tract at its different levels with fish bones is set forth. In recent 20 years the author has managed to collect 68 observations published in the home literature. 6 cases of the perforation of the duodenum, the small intestine, the ileum with injuries to the mesenteric vessels, resulting in massive bleeding, the caecum and the colon in the hepatic angle are presented. All the patients were operated upon. 2 patients died.
