Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 (EcN) is an important chassis strain widely used for the development of live biotherapeutic products (LBPs). EcN strain naturally harbors two cryptic plasmids with unknown function. During the development of LBPs using EcN strain, the cryptic plasmids were cured usually to avoid plasmid incompatibility or alleviate metabolic burdens associated with these cryptic plasmids. While the cryptic plasmids curing in EcN may appear to be a routine procedure, the comprehensive impact of cryptic plasmids curing on the EcN strain remains incompletely understood. In the present study, the effects of cryptic plasmids curing on EcN were investigated using transcriptome sequencing. The results revealed that only a small number of genes showed significant changes in mRNA levels after cryptic plasmid curing (4 upregulated and 6 downregulated genes), primarily involved in amino acid metabolism. Furthermore, the flu gene showed the most significant different expression, encoding Antigen 43 (Ag43) protein, a Cah family adhesin. Mass spectrometry analysis further confirmed the significant increase in Ag43 expression. Ag43 is commonly present in Escherichia coli and mediates the bacterial autoaggregation. However, despite the upregulation of Ag43 expression, no Ag43-mediated cell self-sedimentation was observed in the cured EcN strain. These findings contribute to making informed decisions regarding the curing of the cryptic plasmids when Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 is used as the chassis strain.

Andrographolide (Andro), a labdane diterpene, possesses anti-inflammatory properties and has been used to treat numerous inflammatory diseases. Novel findings revealed that Andro might be vital in regulating pain. However, the contribution of Andro to chronic inflammatory pain has yet to be determined, and its underlying mechanism of action remains unknown. In this study, we observed that Andro attenuated mechanical allodynia in inflammatory pain mice induced by injecting complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) into the right hind paws. This analgesic effect of Andro is mainly dependent on its inhibition of microglial overactivation and the release of proinflammatory cytokines (TNF and IL-1ß) in lumbar spinal cords of inflammatory pain model mice. More importantly, our data in vivo and in vitro revealed a negative role for Andro in regulating the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway, which might contribute to the inhibition of spinal microglial activation and proinflammatory cytokines production, and the improvement of paw withdrawal thresholds in a mouse model of chronic inflammatory pain evoked by CFA. We further found the potential interaction of Andro with TLR4/myeloid differentiation factor 2 heterodimer using molecular modeling, implying that TLR4 might be a potential target for Andro to exert an analgesic effect. Taken together, our findings demonstrated that the modulation of spinal microglial activation by Andro might be substantially conducive to managing chronic pain triggered by neuroinflammation.

During the trial production of Armillarisin A for injection (AA-I), unidentified needle-like yellow-brown crystals were occasionally observed. Here, we report an ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS) method for determining the source of the visible foreign bodies in the formulations of Armillarisin A active pharmaceutical ingredient (AA-API). AA-API, photolyzed samples, the intermediate polymer, and the excipient analyzed determined after the separation on a Waters Symmetry C18 (3.5 µm, 4.6 × 75 mm) column with a mobile phase consisting of a methanol/acetic acid (0.1 mol/L) aqueous solution (50:50). Furthermore, the crystal type of the visible foreign bodies, the intermediate polymer and AA-API were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). The results revealed that the characteristics of the visible foreign solids were the same as those of AA-API as regards UPLC peak position (368 nm) and MS spectrum in negative ion detection mode. The visible foreign solids were thus identified as unpolymerized crystals of AA-API and were attributed to AA-API itself. The results showed that the production process could be improved by changing the stirring method and frequency as well as by optimizing the polymerization temperature to ensure the safety, stability, and control of the product quality in the stage of batch production.

Background: The traditional indwelling needle catheter is hard and can only complete one puncture at a time. The safety and indwelling needle catheter is soft, with a large lumen, with high success rate of blood collection, and one puncture completes two operations, so it is of important value and significance to study the new safety and indwelling needle. To explore the clinical utility of a novel blood collection device with indwelling needle for blood collection among pediatric patients. Methods: A total of 300 children who were admitted to the children's hospital from March to June 2020 were selected and randomly divided into the control group (148) and the observation group (152). The control group received venipuncture using regular needles for infusion and blood collection. For the observation group, a modified indwelling needle device was used for the procedures. Comparisons were made between the two devices in five aspects: blood sample quality, operation time, needlestick incidence, related complications, and patient satisfaction. Results: There was no significant difference in coagulation rate between the two groups, but slightly lower overall hemolysis incidence in the observation group. The unqualified rate of blood specimens collected in the observation group was 10.0% lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Shorter operation time, lower incidence of needlestick injuries, and improved satisfaction were observed in the group using the novel blood collection device. Conclusions: This modified blood collection device is superior to the regular venipuncture needle, in terms of safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction; thus, it has potential for broad clinical applications for infusion and blood collection.

Calvarial bone is one of the most complex sequences of developmental events in embryology, featuring a uniquely transient, pluripotent stem cell-like population known as the cranial neural crest (CNC). The skull is formed through intramembranous ossification with distinct tissue lineages (e.g. neural crest derived frontal bone and mesoderm derived parietal bone). Due to CNC's vast cell fate potential, in response to a series of inductive secreted cues including BMP/TGF-ß, Wnt, FGF, Notch, Hedgehog, Hippo and PDGF signaling, CNC enables generations of a diverse spectrum of differentiated cell types in vivo such as osteoblasts and chondrocytes at the craniofacial level. In recent years, since the studies from a genetic mouse model and single-cell sequencing, new discoveries are uncovered upon CNC patterning, differentiation, and the contribution to the development of cranial bones. In this review, we summarized the differences upon the potential gene regulatory network to regulate CNC derived osteogenic potential in mouse and human, and highlighted specific functions of genetic molecules from multiple signaling pathways and the crosstalk, transcription factors and epigenetic factors in orchestrating CNC commitment and differentiation into osteogenic mesenchyme and bone formation. Disorders in gene regulatory network in CNC patterning indicate highly close relevance to clinical birth defects and diseases, providing valuable transgenic mouse models for subsequent discoveries in delineating the underlying molecular mechanisms. We also emphasized the potential regenerative alternative through scientific discoveries from CNC patterning and genetic molecules in interfering with or alleviating clinical disorders or diseases, which will be beneficial for the molecular targets to be integrated for novel therapeutic strategies in the clinic.

Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury (MIRI) is an event that follows a myocardial infarction. As such, close observation and appropriate patient management is paramount in the treatment process of interventional surgery. The pathogenesis of MIRI has not been fully elucidated. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to explore of novel targets for MIRI treatment whilst also determining their possible underlying mechanism of action. The plasma samples used in the present study were collected from 30 patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy and 30 healthy volunteers. H9c2 rat cardiomyoblasts were subjected to hypoxia and reoxygenation (H/R) modeling to establish an in vitro MIRI model. Initially, the expression levels of Cbl proto-oncogene (CBL) in ICM heart tissue, normal heart tissue, H/R-induced H9c2 cells and normal H9c2 cells were detected using quantitative PCR and western blotting. With the application of Cell Counting Kit-8, western blotting and Tunnel assay, the proliferation, oxidative stress and apoptosis of H/R-induced cells were assessed. Moreover, co-IP assay was employed to testify the interaction between CBL and GRB2. The present study revealed that CBL expression was upregulated in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy and H/R-induced H9c2 cells in comparison with that in normal heart tissue and normal H9c2 cells, respectively. The genetic silence of CBL using small interfering RNA promoted the proliferation and oxidative stress of H/R-induced cells but repressed the apoptosis. The full-length wild-type of growth factor receptor-bound protein 2 (GRB2) was ligated into pcDNA3.1 to achieve GRB2 overexpression, which revealed that GRB2 overexpression reversed the effects of CBL knockdown on cells, suggesting that it may mediate these processes downstream. In conclusion, under hypoxic conditions, CBL knockdown promoted the proliferation and antioxidant capacity of cardiomyocytes whilst inhibiting apoptosis, by downregulating GRB2 expression. These findings revealed the underlying mechanism of action of this pathway, which can be exploited for the prevention or treatment of MIRI.

Pathological angiogenesis is mainly initiated by the binding of abnormal expressed vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGFs) to their receptors (VEGFRs). Blocking the VEGF/VEGFR interaction is a clinically proven treatment in cancer. Our previous work by epitope scan had identified cyclic peptides, mimicking the loop 1 of VEGF-A, VEGF-B and placental growth factor (PlGF), inhibited effectively the VEGF/VEGFR interaction in ELISA. We described here the docking study of these peptides on VEGFR1 to identify their binding sites. The cellular anti-angiogenic activities were examined by inhibition of VEGF-A induced cell proliferation, migration and tube formation in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). The ability of these peptides to inhibit MAPK/ERK1/2 signaling pathway was examined as well. On chick embryo chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) model, a cyclic peptide named B-cL1 with most potent in vitro activity showed important in vivo anti-angiogenic effect. Finally, B-cL1 inhibited VEGF induced human gastric cancer SGC-7901 cells proliferation. It showed anti-tumoral effect on SGC-7901 xenografted BALB/c nude mouse model. The cyclic peptides B-cL1 constitutes an anti-angiogenic peptide drug lead for the design of new and more potent VEGFR antagonists in the treatment of angiogenesis related diseases.

Subclinical mastitis is one of the major problems affecting dairy animals' productivity and is classified based on milk somatic cell counts (SCC). Previous data showed that marine-derived Bacillus amyloliquefaciens-9 (GB-9) improved the immunity and the nonspecific immune defense system of the body. In this study, the potential role of GB-9 in improving subclinical mastitis was assessed with Radix Tetrastigmae (RT) as a positive control in subclinical mastitis Saanen dairy goats. The current data showed that GB-9 and RT significantly reduced the SCC in dairy goats. After being fed with GB-9 or RT, the decreased concentrations of malondialdehyde, IgA, IgM, IL-2, IL-4, and IL-6 were observed. The amplicon sequencing analysis of fecal samples revealed that GB-9 significantly altered the bacterial community. Bacteroides and Phascolarctobacterium were the major genera that respond to GB-9 feeding. The correlation analysis using weighted gene co-expression network analysis showed a MePink module was most associated with the serum concentrations of immunoglobulin and interleukin. The MePink module contained 89 OTUs. The feeding of GB-9 in decreasing the SCC was associated with the altered abundance of Bacteroides, which was correlated with the concentrations of immunoglobulins and chemokines. Collectively, the current data suggested that marine-derived GB-9 could be a helpful probiotic to control subclinical mastitis.

INTRODUCTION: Novel clade 2.3.4.4 H5 highly pathogenic avian influenza virus (HPAIV) outbreaks have occurred since early 2015 in Taiwan and impacted the island economically, like they have many countries. This research investigates the immunogenicity of two HPAIV-like particles to assess their promise as vaccine candidates. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The haemagglutinin (HA) gene derived from clade 2.3.4.4 H5 HPAIV and matrix protein 1 (M1) gene were cloned into the pFastBac Dual baculovirus vector. The resulting recombinant viruses were expressed in Spodoptera frugiperda moth (Sf)21 cells and silkworm pupae to generate Sf21 virus-like particles (VLP) and silkworm pupa VLP. Two-week-old specific pathogen-free chickens were immunised and their humoral and cellular immune responses were analysed. RESULTS: The silkworm pupa VLP had higher haemagglutination competence. Both VLP types elicited haemagglutination inhibition antibodies, anti-HA antibodies, splenic interferon gamma (IFN-γ) and interleukin 4 (IL-4) mRNA expression, and CD4+/CD8+ ratio elevation. However, chickens receiving silkworm pupa VLP exhibited a significantly higher anti-HA antibody titre in ELISA after vaccination. Although Sf21 VLP recipients expressed more IFN-γ and IL-4, the increase in IFN-γ did not significantly raise the CD4+/CD8+ ratio and the increase in IL-4 did not promote anti-HA antibodies. CONCLUSION: Both VLP systems possess desirable immunogenicity in vivo. However, in respect of immunogenic efficacy and the production cost, pupa VLP may be the superior vaccine candidate against clade 2.3.4.4 H5 HPAIV infection.

Shark is a cartilaginous fish that produces new antigen receptor (IgNAR) antibodies. This antibody is identified with a similar human heavy chain but dissimilar sequences. The variable domain (VNAR) of IgNAR is stable and small in size, these features are desirable for drug discovery. Previous study results revealed the effectiveness of VNAR as a single molecule or a combination molecule to treat diseases both in vivo and in vitro with promising clinical applications. We showed the first evidence of IgNAR alternative splicing from spotted bamboo shark (Chiloscyllium plagiosum), broadening our understanding of the IgNARs characteristics. In this review, we summarize the discoveries on IgNAR with a focus on its advantages for therapeutic development based on its peculiar biochemistry and molecular structure. Proper applications of IgNAR will provide a novel avenue to understand its special presence in cartilaginous fishes as well as designing a number of drugs for undefeated diseases.

Daphnetin (7, 8-dihydroxycoumarin, DAPH), a coumarin derivative isolated from Daphne odora var., recently draws much more attention as a promising drug candidate to treat neuroinflammatory diseases due to its protective effects against neuroinflammation. However, itscontribution to chronic inflammatory pain is largely unknown. In the current work, we investigated the effects of DAPH in a murine model of inflammatory pain induced by complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) and its possible underlying mechanisms. Our results showed that DAPH treatment significantly attenuated mechanical allodynia provoked by CFA. A profound inhibition of spinal glial activation, followed by attenuated expression levels of spinal pro-inflammatory cytokines, was observed in DAPH-treated inflammatory pain mice. Further study demonstrated that DAPH mediated negative regulation of spinal NF-κB pathway, as well as its preferential activation of Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway in inflammatory pain mice. This study, for the first time, indicated that DAPH might preventthe development of mechanical allodynia in mice with inflammatory pain. And more importantly, these data provide evidence for the potential application of DAPH in the treatment of chronic inflammatory pain.

Bacillus amyloliquefaciens-9 (GBacillus-9), derived from the intestinal tract of the white-spotted bamboo shark, secretes a variety of antimicrobial compounds that inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria. In this study, the role of GBacillus-9 in the prevention and treatment of Saanen kids with diarrhea was assessed. Six healthy kids (HL) and six kids with diarrhea (DL) were selected. All kids were fed with 0.3% (w/v) GBacillus-9 (spray power) in raw milk for two weeks. The proportion of kids with diarrhea decreased gradually as the trial progressed, and 100% DL kids were cured at day 15. GBacillus-9 increased the serum immunoglobulin (Ig) G, interleukin (IL)-4, and IL-6 concentration (p < 0.05). The amplicon sequencing analysis of the fecal bacterial community revealed that the fecal microbiota was remarkably different between the HL and the DL groups at day 0. After two weeks of feeding with GBacillus-9, no significant difference in fecal microbiota was observed between HL and DL groups at the phylum level. GBacillus-9 restored the intestinal microbial disorder associated with serum immunoglobulin and interleukin concentration. Correlation analysis showed that GBacillus-9 altered globulin and interleukin concentration and that immunoglobulin was associated with Firmicutes. Collectively, our results revealed that GBacillus-9 improved the gut health of kids by improving microbial homeostasis.

The polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (pIgR) is an important molecule in the mucosal immunity of teleosts. Previous studies have shown that pIgR can bind and transport polymeric immunoglobulins (pIgs), but few studies have focused on the binding of teleost pIgR to bacteria. In this study, we identified a gene encoding pIgR in largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides). The pIgR gene contained two Ig-like domains (ILDs), which were homologous to ILD1 and ILD5 of mammalian pIgR. Our results showed that largemouth bass pIgR-ILD could combine with IgM. Moreover, we also found that largemouth bass pIgR-ILD could bind to Aeromonas hydrophila and Micrococcus luteus. Further analysis showed that largemouth bass pIgR-ILD could also combine with lipopolysaccharide (LPS), peptidoglycan (PGN) and various saccharides, and reduced binding to bacteria was observed with LPS and PGN treatment, indicating that largemouth bass pIgR could bind to bacteria to prevent infection and that saccharide binding is an important interaction mechanism between pIgR and bacteria. These results collectively demonstrated that largemouth bass pIgR not only combines with IgM but also binds to bacteria by various saccharides.

Whitespotted bamboo shark (Chiloscyllium plagiosum), a member of the cartilaginous fish family, has an extremely large liver and demonstrates a strong regeneration ability and immune regulation. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) is an important class of non-coding RNAs. Increasing evidences suggest that circRNAs are a kind of potential regulators. Recently, researchers have isolated and identified different circRNAs from various species, while few reports were on the circRNAs of C. plagiosum. In this study, we have identified a total of 4,558 circRNAs in the liver of C. plagiosum. This finding suggests that circRNAs are not evenly distributed in the chromosomes and follow the GT-AG rule during cyclization. Alternative back-splicing might exist in shark circRNAs as shown by the authenticity identification of predicted circRNAs. The binding strength of circRNAs (<2,000 bp) and the detected miRNAs in shark liver were simultaneously analyzed to construct an mRNA-miRNA-circRNA network for the Glutathione S-transferase P1 gene, and the circRNA authenticity was simultaneously verified. Our data provide not only novel insights into the rich existence of circRNAs in marine animals, but also a basis for characterizing functions of identified circRNAs in the liver homeostasis of C. plagiosum.

It is important to develop effective, biocompatible, easily stored and affordable hemostats for controlling bleeding and preventing infection in prehospital trauma. In this study, we synthesized a series of alginate-based composite microspheres coated by different amounts of berberine (SCC-1B, SCC-5B and SCC-10B), which were further characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), viscometer, particle analyzer and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The in vitro and vivo results demonstrated that compared to control group (SCC, Composite polysaccharide microspheres without berberine, and CMPHP, Commercial hemostatic agent), SCC-10B with proper content berberine (7%), not only exhibited inherent excellent antibacterial activity, but also enhanced hemostatic effect by increasing adhesion and aggregation of blood cells, which could be considered as synergistic effects. More importantly, through inserting berberine into the cross-linked network, biodegradability and biocompatibility of SCC-10B were also improved. Taken together, SCC-10B could be a candidate for emergency hemostatic and antibacterial treatment in prehospital trauma.

Whitespotted bamboo shark (Chiloscyllium plagiosum) is a demersal cartilaginous fish with an adaptive immune system founded upon immunoglobulins. In this manuscript, we characterize the IgNAR of the whitespotted bamboo shark. A newly discovered alternative splicing form of IgNAR Sec (IgNARshort (ΔC2-C3) Sec) was identified, in which the C1 domain was spliced directly to the C4 domain, the process resulted in a molecule containing three constant domains. However, a single unpaired cysteine remains in the highly flexible hinge region, contributing in the formation of an interchain disulfide bond. Two types of C1 domain were found, and the one lacking a short α-helix showed lower proportion. This finding suggests that short α-helices might be important to the stability of IgNAR. High-throughput sequencing revealed that the percentage of VNAR types significantly vary between the diverse species of sharks. The variable region of IgNAR (the VNAR) with small size and stabilization is a potential candidate for immunotherapeutic agents. The structure and stability analysis in this manuscript may be useful in future biomedical applications.

The bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling pathway is highly conserved across many species, and its importance for the patterning of the skeletal system has been demonstrated. A disrupted BMP signaling pathway results in severe skeletal defects. Murine calvaria has been identified to have dual-tissue lineages, namely, the cranial neural-crest cells and the paraxial mesoderm. Modulations of the BMP signaling pathway have been demonstrated to be significant in determining calvarial osteogenic potentials and ossification in vitro and in vivo. More importantly, the BMP signaling pathway plays a role in the maintenance of the homeostasis of the calvarial stem cells, indicating a potential clinic significance in calvarial bone and in expediting regeneration. Following the inherent evidence of BMP signaling in craniofacial biology, we summarize recent discoveries relating to BMP signaling in the development of calvarial structures, functions of the suture stem cells and their niche and regeneration. This review will not only provide a better understanding of BMP signaling in cranial biology, but also exhibit the molecular targets of BMP signaling that possess clinical potential for tissue regeneration.

Bacillus amyloliquefaciens-9 (GBacillus-9), which is isolated from the intestinal tract of the white-spotted bamboo shark (Chiloscyllium plagiosum), can secrete potential antibacterial materials, such as ß-1,3-1,4-glucanase and some antimicrobial peptides. However, the low fermentation production has hindered the development of GBacillus-9 as biological additives. In this study, the Plackett-Burman design and response surface methodology were used to optimize the fermentation conditions in a shake flask to obtain a higher yield and antibacterial activity of GBacillus-9. On the basis of the data from medium screening, M9 medium was selected as the basic medium for fermentation. The data from the single-factor experiment showed that sucrose had the highest antibacterial activity among the 10 carbon sources. The Plackett-Burman design identified sucrose, NH4Cl, and MgSO4 as the major variables altering antibacterial activity. The optimal concentrations of these compounds to enhance antibacterial activity were assessed using the central composite design. Data showed that sucrose, NH4Cl, and MgSO4 had the highest antibacterial activities at concentrations of 64.8, 1.84, and 0.08 g L-1, respectively. The data also showed that the optimal fermentation conditions for the antibacterial material production of GBacillus-9 were as follows: Inoculum volume of 5%, initial pH of 7.0, temperature of 36 °C, rotating speed of 180 rpm, and fermentation time of 10 h. The optimal fermentation medium and conditions achieved to improve the yield of antibacterial materials for GBacillus-9 can enhance the process of developing biological additives derived from GBacillus-9.

C-type lectins are Ca2+-dependent carbohydrate-binding proteins containing one or more carbohydrate-recognition domains (CRDs). C-type lectins play crucial roles in innate immunity, including nonself-recognition and pathogen elimination. In the present study, two C-type lectins (designated ReCTL-1 and ReCTL-2) were identified from the shrimp Rimicaris exoculata which dwells in deep-sea hydrothermal vents. The open reading frames of ReCTL-1 and ReCTL-2 encoded polypeptides of 171 and 166 amino acids respectively, which were both composed of a signal peptide and a single CRD. The key motifs determining the carbohydrate binding specificity of ReCTL-1 and ReCTL-2 were respectively Glu-Pro-Ala (EPA) and Gln-Pro-Asn (QPN), which were firstly discovered in R. exoculata. ReCTL-1 and ReCTL-2 displayed similar pathogen-associated molecular pattern (PAMP) binding features and they bound three PAMPs-ß-glucan, lipopolysaccharide and peptidoglycan-with relatively high affinity. In addition, both could efficiently recognize and bind Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. However, ReCTL-1 and ReCTL-2 exhibited different microbial agglutination activities: ReCTL-1 agglutinated Staphylococcus aureus and Saccharomyces cerevisiae, while ReCTL-2 agglutinated Micrococcus luteus, Vibrio parahaemolyticus and V. fluvialis. Both ReCTL-1 and ReCTL-2 inhibited the growth of V. fluvialis. All these results illustrated that ReCTL-1 and ReCTL-2 could function as important pattern-recognition receptors with broad nonself-recognition spectra and be involved in immune defense against invaders, but their specificities are not the same. In addition, the two ReCTLs possessed different carbohydrate binding specificities from each other and from the classical pattern: ReCTL-1 with an EPA motif bound d-galactose and l-mannose, while ReCTL-2 with a QPN motif bound d-fucose and N-acetylglucosamine.

The leading cause of mortality due to colorectal cancer (CRC) is highly associated with the development of liver metastases. Recently, we described cGAMP that is closely related to the metastatic state wherein the progress of metastatic tumors is associated with favorable outcomes in a zebrafish xenograft model. cGAMP was administered and the expression levels of type-I interferons were induced amongst tumor tissues to illuminate the overall measure of the induced STING/STAT3 axis in colorectal liver metastases. Furthermore, cGAMP-STING dependent STAT3 activation resulted in the inhibition of tumor cell proliferation, viability, and invasion in vitro. The subtotal reduction in tumor growth attributed to a large number of infiltrating inflammatory cells in vivo. We showed that cGAMP inhibited migration through angiogenesis by up-regulating IL-2, TNF-α, and IFN-γ, whereas STAT3 down-regulation inhibited CXCL8, BCL-2, and VEGFA expression. The importance of cGAMP in inhibiting the invasion front of CRC confirmed that the cGAMP dependent activation of STING/STAT3 axis played a key role in the inhibition of tumor progression.
