RESUMO

Osteoarthritis led to the articular cartilage damage and cause different kind of problems - from social to biological. The analysis of existing research unfortunately subjected questioned the reliability of spontaneous regeneration of damaged cartilage, which makes it necessary to focus on the possibilities of protection of the tissue from further its degradation. Treatment of osteoarthritis require to use many drugs, which would lead to slowdown the this process. The aim of below publication is to analyse the practical, clinical biological possibilities of articular cartilage protection with a usage of SYSADOA - (symptomatic slow acting drugs of OA). Osteoarthritis is most frequent disease of the joints and prescription of the SYSADOA should be main principle of that treatment.

RESUMO

Osteoporotic fractures comprise a deadly disease which has ascending epidemiology in the 21st century. Cha-racterized by inadequate force impulses which cause breaks of bone tissue in key places for traumatology: proximal femur, spine. This is a severe economic, social, and health problem. The first condition for recovery after fracture is obtaining proper qualification for surgical treatment. Next the surgery must be made as fast as possible in order to provide internal diagnostics, while simultaneously maintaining the patient's safety. It's very important to create optimal conditions for bone healing. The essence of the problem "osteoporotic fractures" is low bone mineral density (BMD). It was found that in research 'in vivo', it is possible to reach a higher value of this factor via supplementation with ossein-hydroxyapatite complex (OHC) as compared to standard Calcium Salts.

RESUMO

Choroba zwyrodnieniowa stawów (ChZS) charakteryzuje sie bólem, sztywnoscia oraz zmniejszeniem ru-chomosci i jest choroba calego stawu, a wszystkie trzy skladowe : chrzastka stawowa, podchrzestna warstwa kosci, blona maziowa moga byc zmienione. U czesci pacjentów wystepuja silne dolegliwosci przy minimal-nych zmianach radiologicznych i przeciwnie, pomimo znacznych zmian radiologicznych, moga wystepowac tylko niewielkie dolegliwosci. Niesteroidowe leki przeciwzapalne (NLPZ) to szeroka, niejednorodna grupa leków przeciwzapalnych, prze-ciwbólowych stosowanych w leczeniu ChZS. W tej chorobie nastepuje zaburzenie powiazanych ze soba pro-cesów degradacji i syntezy chrzastki stawowej, dotycza one zarówno w chondrocytów, jak i macierzy pozako-mór-kowej. Dochodzi w niej do zaburzenia w syntezie podstawowych skladowych stawu: kolagenu, glikoza-mino-noglikanów i kwasu hialuronowego. Aceklofenak moze byc stosowany w leczeniu bólu zgodnie ze stan-dar-dami farmakologicznego leczenia bólu oraz z zalozeniami drabiny analgetycznej opracowanej przez Swiatowa Organizacje Zdrowia. Stwierdzo-no, ze w badaniach in vitro aceklofenak wyróznia sie wsród innych NLPZ unikatowymi wlasciwosciami chon-droprotekcyjnymi, mogacymi miec istotne znaczenie w leczeniu ChZS.

RESUMO

HA preparations in intraarticular injections have been applied in medicine since 1986 and became widely used in Poland at the beginning of the 90s of the twentieth century. Since then, numerous cases of successful application of intra-articular injections (the so called viscosupplementation) have been described in Polish and foreign literature. Changes in the molecular mass of hyaluronic acid and the related specific spatial structure result in different metabolic and immunological properties. Presently, in clinical practice, it is indicated to use the preparations produced by selected manufacturers who offer different forms of HA, containing different percentage of active substance (1 to 2.5%) and different molecular mass, making the desired number (1-5) of intra-articular injec-tions possible, depending on the type and intensity of a specific disease unit. Numerous studies have been con-ducted to confirm the effectiveness of treatment using hyaluronic acid. In Poland a research program was implemented to assess the practical application of 2 ml of Biolevox HA preparation in 2.2% concentration. During the study 15,000 patients were subjected to analysis. The physicians participating in the study injected the hyaluronic acid, in that case, Biolevox HA, to the knee joint, in patients with osteoarthritis, chondromalacia, knee joint injuries and other conditions.
