RESUMO
An antiadhesive absorbable means "Mezogel" produced by the firm "Lintex" (St. Petersburg) after intraperitoneal administration to animals in experiments was shown to reliably effectively reduce the degree of a recurrent adhesion process, and in 40% of the cases to completely prevent repeated formation of adhesions in the abdominal cavity. The use of "Mezogel" for intraperitoneal administration after dissection of adhesions in patients with acute adhesive intestinal obstruction results in relieving the course of the nearest and long term postoperative periods and reducing the number of recurrences, thus improving quality of life of the patients.

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LCE) was performed in 330 patients aged from 14 to 77 years; it was completed successfully in 308 (93.3%) patients. Conversion to laparotomy and standard cholecystectomy was carried out in 22 patients (6.7%) due chiefly (86.4%) to inflammatory disorders of infrahepatic area. 188 (61%) LCE were performed for chronic calculous cholecystitis, 120--for acute calculous cholecystitis. In the latter group destructive forms of cholecystitis were revealed in 34.2% patients. Combined with LCE interventions were performed in 13 patients (4.2%). There were no lethal outcomes after LCE. Severe intra- and postoperative complications occurred in 26 (8.4%) patients; laparotomy for removing these complications was necessary in 3 patients (1%).

Degree IIIB burn suppresses the development of an immune response to T-dependent antigen. Following burn, substances having immunosuppressive active and inducing the emergence of suppressive properties in light erythrocytes occur in blood. Essentiale, alpha-tocopherol acetate and lidocaine enhance the development of an immune response to T-dependent antigen in burn injury. The administration of the drugs reduced the immunosuppressive activity of the sera from the burnt animals. Essentiale attenuated the immunosuppressive properties of red blood cells, while alpha-tocopherol acetate and lidocaine abolished them. Essentiale induced the occurrence of immunostimulating properties in heavy red blood cells from the burnt animals while alpha-tocopherol acetate and lidocaine enhanced the resistance of light erythrocytes to the burnt rat serum compounds that induced the emergence of immunosuppressive properties in the animals.

The results of complex treatment of acute purulent inflammatory diseases of the digits and hand with the use of vacuum-therapy in 109 patients are presented. Shortening of the time required for wound cleaning, reduction in disease and temporary invalidity duration were noted.
