Microbial-driven N turnover is important in regulating N fertilizer use efficiency through the secretion of metabolites like glycolipids. Currently, our understanding of the potential of glycolipids to partially reduce N fertilizer use and the effects of glycolipids on crop yield and N use efficiency is still limited. Here, a three-year in situ field experiment was conducted with seven treatments: no fertilization (CK); chemical N, phosphorus and potassium (NPK); NPK plus glycolipids (N+PKT); and PK plus glycolipids with 10% (0.9 N+PKT), 20% (0.8 N+PKT), 30% (0.7 N+PKT), and 100% (PKT) N reduction. Compared with NPK, glycolipids with 0-20% N reduction did not significantly reduce maize yields, and also increased N uptake by 6.26-11.07%, but no significant changes in grain or straw N uptake. The N resorption efficiency under 0.9 N+PKT was significantly greater than that under NPK, while the apparent utilization rates of N fertilizer and partial factor productivity of N under 0.9 N+PKT were significantly greater than those under NPK. Although 0.9 N+PKT led to additional labor and input costs, compared with NPK, it had a greater net economic benefit. Our study demonstrates the potential for using glycolipids in agroecosystem management and provides theoretical support for optimizing fertilization strategies.

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are ubiquitous in the natural environment and play a pivotal role in biogeochemical processes. However, the spatiotemporal distribution and production mechanisms of ROS in riparian soil remain unknown. Herein, we performed uninterrupted monitoring to investigate the variation of ROS at different soil sites of the Weihe River riparian zone throughout the year. Fluorescence imaging and quantitative analysis clearly showed the production and spatiotemporal variation of ROS in riparian soils. The concentration of superoxide (O2•-) was 300% higher in summer and autumn compared to that in other seasons, while the highest concentrations of 539.7 and 20.12 µmol kg-1 were observed in winter for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and hydroxyl radicals (•OH), respectively. Spatially, ROS production in riparian soils gradually decreased along with the stream. The results of the structural equation and random forest model indicated that meteorological conditions and soil physicochemical properties were primary drivers mediating the seasonal and spatial variations in ROS production, respectively. The generated •OH significantly induced the abiotic mineralization of organic carbon, contributing to 17.5-26.4% of CO2 efflux. The obtained information highlighted riparian zones as pervasive yet previously underestimated hotspots for ROS production, which may have non-negligible implications for carbon turnover and other elemental cycles in riparian soils.

Biochar-bound persistent free radicals (biochar-PFRs) attract much attention because they can directly or indirectly mediate the transformation of contaminants in large-scale wastewater treatment processes. Despite this, a comprehensive top-down understanding of the redox activity of biochar-PFRs, particularly consumption and regeneration mechanisms, as well as challenges in redox activity assessment, is still lacking. To tackle this challenge, this review outlines the identification and determination methods of biochar-PFRs, which serve as a prerequisite for assessing the redox activity of biochar-PFRs. Recent developments concerning biochar-PFRs are discussed, with a main emphasis on the reaction mechanisms (both non-free radical and free radical pathways) and their effectiveness in removing contaminants. Importantly, the review delves into the mechanism of biochar-PFRs regeneration, triggered by metal cations, reactive oxygen species, and ultraviolet radiations. Furthermore, this review thoroughly explores the dilemma in appraising the redox activity of biochar-PFRs. Components with unpaired electrons (particular defects and metal ions) interfere with biochar-PFRs signals in electron paramagnetic resonance spectra. Scavengers and extractants of biochar-PFRs also inevitably modify the active ingredients of biochar. Based on these analyses, a practical strategy is proposed to precisely determine the redox activity of biochar-PFRs. Finally, the review concludes by presenting current gaps in knowledge and offering suggestions for future research. This comprehensive examination aims to provide new and significant insights into the redox activity of biochar-PFRs.

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) germination is sensitive to environmental conditions. Recently, hydrogel has received increased attention as an alternative media to soil for seed germination. Compared to soil seeding, hydrogel-aided germination provides more controlled seeding environments. However, there are still challenges preventing hydrogel-aided seed germination from being widely used in industry production or academic studies, such as hydrogel formulation variations, seeding operation standardization, and germination evaluation. In this study, we tested how the combination of multiple environmental conditions affect lettuce seed germination time, which is measured as the time needed for the first pair of leaves to appear (leaf emergence) or, alternatively, the third leaf to appear (leaf development). We found that germination time and success rate of two lettuce varieties (Iceberg A and Butter Crunch) showed different sensitivities to pH, Hoagland formulations and concentrations, light intensity, and hydrogel content. We have conducted statistical analysis on the correlation between germination time and these environmental conditions.

Organic acid is prevalent in underground environments and, against the backdrop of biogeochemical cycles on Earth, holds significant importance in the degradation of contaminants by redox-active minerals. While earlier studies on the role of organic acid in the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) primarily concentrated on electron shuttle or ligand effects, this study delves into the combined impacts of organic acid decomposition and Mackinawite (FeS) oxidation in contaminant transformation under dark aerobic conditions. Using bisphenol A (BPA) as a model, our findings showed that oxalic acid (OA) notably outperforms other acids in enhancing BPA removal, attaining a rate constant of 0.69 h-1. Mass spectrometry characterizations, coupled with anaerobic treatments, advocate for molecule-O2 activation as the principal mechanism behind pollutant transformation. Comprehensive results unveiled that carbon center radicals, initiated by hydroxyl radical (•OH) attack, serve as the primary agents in pollutant oxidation, accounting for at least 93.6% of the total •OH generation. This dynamic, driven by the decomposition of organic acids and the concurrent formation of carbon-centered radicals, ensures a steady supply of electrons for ROS generation. The obtained information highlights the importance of OA decomposition in the natural attenuation of pollutants and offers innovative strategies for FeS and organic acid-coupled decontamination.

The activation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARα), a ligand-dependent transcription factor that regulates lipid oxidation-related genes, has been employed to treat hyperlipidemia. Emerging evidence indicates that Ppara gene expression decreases in adipose tissue under obese conditions; however, the underlying molecular mechanisms remain elusive. Here, we demonstrate that nitric oxide (NO) suppresses Ppara expression by regulating its promoter activity via suppression of specificity protein 1 (Sp1) transcriptional activity in adipocytes. NO derived from lipopolysaccharide (LPS) -activated macrophages or a NO donor (NOR5) treatment, suppressed Ppara mRNA expression in 10T1/2 adipocytes. In addition, Ppara transcript levels were reduced in the white adipose tissue (WAT) in both acute and chronic inflammation mouse models; however, such suppressive effects were attenuated via a nitric oxide synthase 2 (NOS2) inhibitor. Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress inhibitors attenuated the NO-induced repressive effects on Ppara gene expression in 10T1/2 adipocytes. Promoter mutagenesis and chromatin immunoprecipitation assays revealed that NO decreased the Sp1 occupancy in the proximal promoter regions of the Ppara gene, which might partially result from the reduced Sp1 expression levels by NO. This study delineated the molecular mechanism that modulates Ppara gene transcription upon NO stimulation in white adipocytes, suggesting a possible mechanism for the transcriptional downregulation of Ppara in WAT under obese conditions.

BACKGROUND: Patients with pathological stage IA lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) are at risk of relapse. The value of the TNM staging system is limited in predicting recurrence. Our study aimed to develop a precise recurrence prediction model for stage IA LUAD. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Patients with pathological stage IA LUAD who received surgical treatment at Zhongshan Hospital Fudan University were retrospectively analyzed. Multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to create nomograms for recurrence-free survival (RFS). The predictive performance of the model was assessed using calibration plots and the concordance index (C-index). RESULTS: The multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that CTR (0.75 < CTR ≤ 1; HR = 9.882, 95% CI: 2.036-47.959, p = 0.004) and solid/micropapillary-predominance (SMPP; >5% and the most dominant) (HR = 4.743, 95% CI: 1.506-14.933, p = 0.008) were independent prognostic factors of RFS. These risk factors were used to construct a nomogram to predict postoperative recurrence in these patients. The C-index of the nomogram for predicting RFS was higher than that of the eighth T-stage system (0.873 for the nomogram and 0.643 for the eighth T stage). The nomogram also achieved good predictive performance for RFS with a well-fitted calibration curve. CONCLUSIONS: We developed and validated a nomogram based on CTR and SMP patterns for predicting postoperative recurrence in pathological stage IA LUAD. This model is simple to operate and has better predictive performance than the eighth T stage system, making it suitable for selecting further adjuvant treatment and follow-up.

The Duck Tembusu virus (DTMUV), a pathogenic flavivirus, has been causing significant economic losses in the Chinese poultry industry since 2010. This virus can severely decrease egg production and inhibit the growth of laying ducks and ducklings. While many vaccines have been developed to prevent DTMUV infection, fresh outbreaks continue to occur, as few effective vaccines are available. The E glycoprotein of DTMUV is the primary target for inducing protective immunity in the natural host. Therefore, we conducted an investigation and successfully developed a recombinant baculovirus containing the DTMUV E gene. Ducklings were then vaccinated with the purified protein derived from this virus as a potential vaccine candidate. Our findings demonstrated that the E glycoprotein of DTMUV was highly expressed in Sf9 cells. The vaccination of ducklings with the recombinant baculovirus Bac-E resulted in the induction of strong humoral and cellular immune responses. Most significantly, we observed that the vaccine provided 100% protective immunity against lethal challenges with the DTMUV YY5 strain.

MXene materials have shown numerous useful mechanical and electronic properties, and have been found to possess nice potential in the field of optical modulation. Here, we fabricated a MXene Cr2C saturable absorber by the liquid-phase exfoliation method, and systemically analyzed the surface morphology and nonlinear properties of the Cr2C sample. Applying the Cr2C saturable absorber as a Q-switch in a thulium-doped yttrium aluminum perovskite (Tm: YAP) laser, the shortest single pulse was obtained with a width of 602 ns under an absorbed pump power of 3.3 W at a repetition rate of 55 kHz with a T = 1% output coupler. The maximum output power was obtained with a T = 5% output coupler at a repetition rate of 58 kHz. The obtained maximum pulse energy and peak power were 3.96 µJ and 4.36 W, separately, which reveal that the MXene Cr2C can be applied as a promising modulation material in the near-infrared pulsed lasers.

Pseudorabies (PR) and classical swine fever (CSF) are economically important infectious diseases in pigs. Most pig farms in China are vaccinated against these two diseases. Gene-deleted pseudorabies virus (PRV) can be used to develop promising and economical multivalent live attenuated viral vector vaccines. It has been reported that recombinant PRV can express a truncated E2 protein (1-338 aa), but it has not been reported that recombinant PRV can express a full-length E2 protein. We constructed nine groups of E2 proteins with different expression forms and found that the E2 protein could be expressed in vitro only when the transmembrane region of E2 was removed and the signal peptide was added. Analysis of the transmembrane region of E2 revealed that the high hydrophobicity of the E2 transmembrane region was the main reason for its inability to express. By mutating an amino acid to reduce the hydrophobicity of the transmembrane region, it was found that the full-length mutant of E2 (E2FL-muta3 or E2FL-muta4) could be expressed. The expressed full-length mutant E2 could also localize to the cell membrane. Mice immunized with a PRV vector vaccine expressing E2FL-muta3 or E2FL-muta4 developed specific cellular immunity to the E2 protein and stimulated higher levels of E2 antibody than mice immunized with a PRV vector expressing truncated E2. After immunizing the rabbits, the lethal challenge by PRV-ZJ2013 and the febrile response elicited by CSFV were simultaneously prevented. These results suggest that rPRV-dTK/gE-E2FL-muta4 is a promising bivalent vaccine against CSFV and PRV infections.

Soy isoflavones have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties; however, the anti-inflammatory effects of isoflavone metabolites produced during soybean germination remain unclear. We found that the daidzein and genistein derivatives, 8-prenyl daidzein (8-PD) and 8-prenyl genistein (8-PG), demonstrated a more potent effect than daidzein and genistein on repressing inflammatory responses in macrophages. Although IkB protein levels were unaltered, 8-PD and 8-PG repressed nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) activation, which was associated with reduced ERK1/2, JNK, and p38 MAPK activation and suppressed mitogen- and stress-activated kinase 1 phosphorylation. Inflammatory responses induced by the medium containing hypertrophic adipocyte secretions were successfully suppressed by 8-PD and 8-PG treatment. In the ex vivo study, 8-PD and 8-PG significantly inhibited proinflammatory C-C motif chemokine ligand 2 (CCL2) secretion from the adipose tissues of mice fed a long-term high-fat diet. The data suggest that 8-PD and 8-PG could regulate macrophage activation under obesity conditions.

This study was based on similar physicochemical characteristics of pseudorabies virus (PRV) and African swine fever virus (ASFV). A cellular model for evaluation of disinfectants was established with PRV as an alternative marker strain. In the present study, we evaluated the disinfection performance of commonly used commercialized disinfectants on PRV to provide a reference for the selection of good ASFV disinfectants. In addition, the disinfection (anti-virus) performances for four disinfectants were investigated based on the minimum effective concentration, onset time, action time, and operating temperature. Our results demonstrated that glutaraldehyde decamethylammonium bromide solution, peracetic acid solution, sodium dichloroisocyanurate, and povidone-iodine solution effectively inactivated PRV at concentrations 0.1, 0.5, 0.5, and 2.5 g/L on different time points 30, 5, 10, and 10 min, respectively. Specifically, peracetic acid exhibits optimized overall performance. Glutaraldehyde decamethylammonium bromide is cost effective but requires a long action time and the disinfectant activity is severely affected by low temperatures. Furthermore, povidone-iodine rapidly inactivates the virus and is not affected by environmental temperature, but its application is limited by a poor dilution ratio such as for local disinfection of the skin. This study provides a reference for the selection of disinfectants for ASFV.

Trait introgression (TI) can be a time-consuming and costly task that typically requires multiple generations of backcrossing (BC). Usually, the aim is to introduce one or more alleles (e.g. QTLs) from a single donor into an elite recipient, both of which are fully inbred. This article studies the potential advantages of incorporating intercrossing (IC) into TI programs when compared with relying solely on the traditional BC framework. We simulate a TI breeding pipeline using 3 previously proposed selection strategies for the traditional BC scheme and 3 modified strategies that allow IC. Our proposed look-ahead intercrossing method (LAS-IC) combines look-ahead Monte Carlo simulations, intercrossing, and additional selection criteria to improve computational efficiency. We compared the efficiency of the 6 strategies across 5 levels of resource availability considering the generation when the major QTLs have been successfully introduced into the recipient and a desired background recovery rate reached. Simulations demonstrate that the inclusion of intercrossing in a TI program can substantially increase efficiency and the probability of success. The proposed LAS-IC provides the highest probability of success across the different scenarios using fewer resources compared with BC-only strategies.

BACKGROUND: This study evaluated programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression from pre-invasive adenocarcinoma to invasive lung adenocarcinoma, aimed to investigate the potential association of PD-L1 pathway with lung adenocarcinoma early evolution. METHODS: We evaluated PD-L1 expression in 1123 resected lung specimens of adenocarcinoma in situ (AIS), minimally invasive adenocarcinoma (MIA) and invasive adenocarcinoma (IAC) of stage IA1-IA3. PD-L1 expression was defined based on the proportion of stained tumor cells using the tumor proportion score: < 1% (negative), ≥ 1% (positive) and ≥ 50% (strongly positive). Correlations between PD-L1 expression and T stage, pathological subtype, adenocarcinoma grade, spread through air space (STAS), vascular invasion, lymphatic invasion and driven genes were analyzed. RESULTS: There was almost no PD-L1 expression in AIS or MIA. However, PD-L1 expression was correlated with invasiveness of lung adenocarcinoma. The percentages of PD-L1 positive in IA1-IA3 were 7.22%, 11.29%, and 14.20%, respectively. The strongly positive rates of PD-L1 were 0.38%, 1.64%, and 3.70% in IA1-IA3, respectively. PD-L1 expression and positive rate were also associated with poor pathological subtype and poor biological behavior, such as adenocarcinoma Grade 3, micropapillary or solid dominant subtype, STAS and vascular invasion. Finally, PD-L1 positive rate seems also corrected with driven gene ALK, ROS-1 and KRAS. CONCLUSIONS: PD-L1 expression was positively correlated with the emergence of invasiveness and poor pathological subtype or biological behavior of early-stage lung adenocarcinoma. PD-L1 pathway may be involved in the early evolution of lung adenocarcinoma from AIS to IAC.

The formation of toxic by-products, such as environmentally persistent free radicals (EPFRs), is one of the causes for concern by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in soils. However, the distribution of EPFRs in different soil fractions and their relative contribution to the oxidation potential (OP) have not been investigated. In the present paper, contaminated samples were obtained from the former gasworks sites and were fractionated into different size particles, which were analyzed for EPFRs, reactive oxygen species (ROS), and OP-assayed by dithiothreitol (DTT) (OPDTT). The results showed the highest concentration of EPFRs in the soil particle size with diameters <0.15 mm due to co-existence of PAHs and transition metals. ROS generation is in accordance with the size-specific distribution of EPFRs. Using the DTT assays, the redox activity of various size soil particles was examined, and found it was approximately 4- to 8-folds higher than that of un-contaminated samples and strongly associated with EPFRs, ROS, and PAHs. The obtained results advanced our knowledge on the EPFRs distribution in soil fractions at former MGP sites and emphasized the significance of PAH-EPFRs as a class of compounds to be considered in risk assessment of contaminated sites.

Pseudorabies (PR) and classical swine fever (CSF) are economically important infectious diseases of pigs. Most pig farms in China are immunized against these two diseases. Here, we describe a stabilized E2 protein as an immunogen inserted into the PRV genome as a bivalent live virus-vectored vaccine. The E2 protein has 48 variant sites, there are 2-5 candidate amino acids per variant site, and the relative energy contribution of each amino acid to E2 energy was calculated. Combined substitutions of amino acids at the neighbor variant site (neighbor substitution) were performed to obtain the E2 protein sequence with the lowest energy (stabilized E2). Multiple amino acid substitutions at 48 variant sites were performed, and the results were consistent with neighbor substitutions. The stabilized E2 sequence was obtained, and its energy decreased by 22 Rosetta Energy Units (REUs) compared with the original sequence. After the recombinant PRV expressing stabilized E2 of CSFV was constructed, the secretion efficiency of stabilized E2 was increased by 2.97 times, and the thermal stability was increased by 10.5 times. Immunization of mice resulted in a 2-fold increase in antibody production, and a balanced antibody level against subtype 1.1 and subtype 2.1d E2 was achieved. In rabbits immunized, the lethal challenge of PRV-ZJ and the fever response induced by CSFV could be prevented simultaneously. These findings suggest that rPRV-muta/287aaE2 is a promising bivalent vaccine against CSFV and PRV infections.

In 2021, a disease characterized by urate deposition on the visceral surface and 30% mortality occurred in commercial adult Landaise geese in Zhejiang Province, China. A systematic study identified an infecting astrovirus, designated ZJCX, that was efficiently isolated from a diseased goose with a chicken hepatocellular carcinoma cell line (LMH). In contrast to other GAstVs originating from goslings, ZJCX caused cytopathogenic effects in LMH cells, and the crystalline arrangement of viral particles was observed through transmission electron microscopy. Indeed, phylogenetic analysis and nucleotide homology comparison revealed that ZJCX isolate belongs to the genotype II cluster of GAstVs and displays 97.8-98.4% identity with other GAstV II strains. However, several specific mutations occurred in the polyprotein and capsid protein regions. Moreover, a pathogenicity assessment of ZJCX with a gosling model was conducted, and typical visceral gout was reproduced and led to 18% mortality. The viral loads of ZJCX in the blood, kidney, and liver were detected with specific primers after inoculation, which demonstrated that the kidney and liver presented viral loads peaking at seven days post-inoculation (dpi). Biochemical parameter examination showed that AST, ALT, γ-GT, UA, and BUN levels were significantly increased by GAstV, whereas body weight was reduced. Overall, this study indicated that the GAstV isolate could infect adult geese, and the results regarding the viral loads and biochemical parameters induced by ZJCX provide insight into GAstV pathogenicity.

The novel duck reovirus (NDRV) is an emerging pathogen that causes disease in various waterfowl species. Since the outbreak, it has caused huge economic losses to the duck industry in China. A rapid, reliable, and high-throughput method is required for epidemiological investigation and evaluation of vaccine immunogenicity. A good first step would be establishing an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that could detect NDRV antibodies in different breeds of ducks and geese from the serum and egg yolk. This study used a recombinant NDRV σB protein and a corresponding horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled monoclonal antibody to develop a blocking ELISA (B-ELISA). The cutoff value of the B-ELISA was 37.01%. A total of 212 serum samples were tested by the B-ELISA, and the virus neutralization test (VNT) was the gold standard test. The sensitivity and specificity of the B-ELISA were 92.17% (106/115) and 97.94% (95/97), respectively. The agreement rates between the B-ELISA and VNT were 94.81% (kappa value, 0.896). The B-ELISA could specifically recognize anti-NDRV sera without cross-reacting with other positive serums for other major diseases in ducks and geese. The inter- and intra-assay coefficients of variation (CVs) of the B-ELISA and VNT assays were acceptable. In conclusion, the novel B-ELISA could be a rapid, simple, safe, and economically attractive alternative to the VNT in assessing duck flocks' immunity status and in epidemiological surveillance in multiple waterfowl species. IMPORTANCE NDRV disease is a new epidemic disease in waterfowl that first appeared in China. Compared with the classical DRV (CDRV), NDRV is associated with more severe symptoms, a higher mortality rate, and a broader host range. NDRV has become the prevalent genotype in China. At present, there are no commercially available diagnostic products for the NDRV disease. VNT, as the gold standard serologic test, is not only time-consuming and laborious, but also has high requirements for facilities and equipment, which is not suitable for clinical application. Conventional ELISA requires specific antispecies conjugates that are not currently available. B-ELISA not only has the advantage of higher analysis specificity, but also can be used to test specific antibodies against different waterfowl species, because no species-specific conjugates are required in such detection. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a B-ELISA for the detection of antibodies against NDRV in waterfowl species.

Environmentally persistent free radicals (EPFRs) as intermediate products exist widely in the PAHs-contaminated soils, but toxicity assessment associated with EPFRs for terrestrial invertebrates remains unclear. Using the model organism Eisenia fetida, we compared the adverse effects among anthracene (ANT), anthraquinone (ANQ), and EPFRs induced by ANT transformation on clay surfaces. Our results showed that EPFRs-exposed earthworms experienced histopathological damage, which was more severe than ANT and ANQ-exposed earthworms. The source of EPFRs damage was associated with the obvious dysbiosis of reactive oxygen species in earthworms. Specifically, EPFRs trigged more severe antioxidant responses and oxidative damages (e.g., membrane lipid and DNA injury) in comparison with ANT and ANQ exposure, as evidenced by the values of integrated biomarker response (IBR) following the order of EPFRs (14.5) > ANT (12.8) > ANQ (10.9). Moreover, high-throughput sequencing found that EPFRs induced dramatic changes in the composition and structure of earthworm gut microbiota, which may involve immune and metabolism dysfunction, in turn aggravated EPFRs toxicity. Overall, the obtained information highlights the more severe injury of EPFRs to terrestrial organisms, deserving more attentions for the assessment of potential risks associated with radical intermediates in PAHs-contaminated soils.

The bursa of Fabricius is an immunologically organ against the invasion of duck reovirus (DRV), which is a fatal bird virus belonging to the Reoviridae family. However, responses of the bursa of Fabricius of Cairna moschata to novel DRV (NDRV) infection are largely unknown. Transcriptomes and proteomes of the samples from control and two NDRV strain (HN10 and JDm10) with different virulence were analyzed. Differentially expressed genes and differential accumulated proteins were enriched in the serine protease system and innate immune response clusters. Most of the immune-related genes were up-regulated under both JDm10/HN10 infections. However, the immune-related proteins were only accumulated under HN10 infection. For the serine protease system, coagulation factor IX, three chains of fibrinogen, and complements C8, C5, and C2s were significantly up-regulated by the HN10 infection, suggesting that the serine protease-mediated immune system might be involved in the resistance to NDRV infection. For the innate and adaptive immune system, RIG-I, MDA5, MAPK20, and IRF3 were significantly up-regulated, indicating their important roles against invaded virus. TLR-3 and IKBKB were only up-regulated in the liver cells, MAPK20 was only up-regulated in the bursa of Fabricius cells, and IRAK2 was only up-regulated in the spleen samples. Coagulation factor IX was increased in the bursa of Fabricius, not in the liver and spleen samples. The data provides a detailed resource for studying the proteins participating in the resistances of the bursa of Fabricius of duck to NDRV infections.
