RESUMO

Both treatment and effective rehabilitation play an important role in preserving the reproductive health of the girl, the future mother. Along with the search for new drug therapies for various gynecological pathologies, it is important to use physical and natural factors that are natural stimuli for the patient's body. AIM: To examine the effect of health resort factors and methods of physiotherapy on the general condition and hormonal status of girls with delayed sexual development. MATERIAL AND METHODS: 83 patients with delayed sexual development who were examined at the children's clinical sanatorium 'Zdravnitsa' in Yevpatoria (Crimea) were examined: 52 girls were included in the primary group, 31 - in the comparison group. Both groups, depending on age, were divided into subgroups: 13-14 years old and 15-17 years old. Patients in both groups received a standard treatment complex (STC). In addition to SCR, the girls of the main group were prescribed: 5% brine electrophoresis by sinusoidal modulated currents, sage and sea baths. The control group included gynecologic ally healthy adolescents: thirteen 13-14 year-old girls old in the subgroup K1 and twelve 15-17 year-old girls in the subgroup K2. Before and after treatment, all patients underwent standard clinical, gynecological, and laboratory examinations. In both groups, the dynamics of clinical and laboratory parameters, as well as gonadotropic and sex steroid hormones in the blood serum were analyzed. RESULTS: The complex of climatic and physical factors had a nonspecific general stimulating effect. There was a positive dynamics in the general condition of patients, their anthropometric indicators, hormonal status, which was more pronounced in the primary group than in the comparison group. Negative dynamics of the course of diseases in girls of both groups was not observed. CONCLUSION: The use of hardware physiotherapy and sage baths increases the effectiveness of STC. The best clinical and laboratory dynamics of the primary indices was noted in patients 13-14 years old than in patients 15-17 years old. The use of natural and preformed physical factors in treatment makes it possible to minimize the drug effect on the body and achieve the most positive treatment results with a minimum of side effects.

RESUMO

The HPHT diamond Schottky diode was assembled as a Metal/Intrinsic/p-doped structure betavoltaic cell (BC) with a very thin (1 µm) drift layer and tested under 5-30 keV electron beam irradiation using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The effect of the ß-radiation energy and the backscattering of electrons on the energy conversion was studied. From the results obtained, it is shown that, the efficiency of the investigated BC increases from 1.01 to 3.75% with the decrease of ß-particle energy from 30 to 5 keV due to an increase of the electron beam absorption in a thin drift layer. Maximum efficiency is achieved when the electron beam energy is close to the average ß-decay energy of 3H. The BC maximum output power of the 1.6 µW was obtained at an electron beam energy of 15 keV, that matches the ß-decay energy of 63Ni. The total BC conversion efficiency at 15 keV electron-beam energy is about 3%. The calculations indicated that a preferable ß-source for the diamond based BCs with a thin (1 µm) drift layer is 63Ni.

RESUMO

In a review article analyzes and summarizes information on the current pathogenesis of bile peritonitis. The role of endothelial dysfunction markers, as a factor in the development of ischemic disorders interstitial circulation contributes to the elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of the pathogenesis of peritonitis, including bile peritonitis. This review is an attempt to synthesize and analyze accumulated information on the pathogenetic aspects of the development of peritonitis, which will optimize the diagnosis, the development of methods of prevention and treatment. This study dysfunction of vascular endothelium, will provide additional information relevant to the prediction of the adaptation of the organism in the syndrome of endogenous intoxication.

RESUMO

Bile peritonitis is associated with endotoxemia, endothelial dysfunction, and increased level of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Under these conditions, serum concentration of NO metabolites (nitrate/nitrite ratio) and NO production by platelets significantly increase in animals with bile peritonitis, which reflects the development of inflammatory process and its antithrombotic activity, respectively. At the same time, platelet adhesion to lymphocytes increased in animals with bile peritonitis. The observed effect was confirmed by a direct correlation between the adhesion activity of lymphocytes to platelets and the content of desquamated endotheliocytes. This phenomenon played a crucial role in the development of protective and reparative processes in the damaged surface of vessel wall.

RESUMO

The development of 4-h ischemia of the limb in dogs was paralleled by disorders in liver microcirculation manifesting in increased vascular permeability, capillary plethora, hemorrhages, and degenerative changes in hepatocytes, which progressed during the reperfusion period.

RESUMO

The development of 4-h ischemia of the limb was associated with significant disorders in pulmonary microcirculation (increased vascular permeability, capillary plethora, hemorrhages). Pathological changes in the lung tissue progressed during the reperfusion period.

RESUMO

Combined use of sodium hypochlorite and intravenous laser irradiation of the blood in the postoperation therapy of 24-h bile peritonitis improved recovery of engulfing and digestive activity of neutrophilic granulocytes in the early postoperation period. Enzyme activity of neutrophilic granulocytes in earlier postoperation periods returned to normal after treatment with sodium hypochlorite alone.

RESUMO

Intensification of lipid peroxidation against the background of exhaustion of the antioxidant protective system was demonstrated in 70 rats with experimental bile peritonitis. Free radical oxidation primarily concerned free lipids and fatty acids in the plasma and to a lesser extent erythrocyte membrane lipids.

RESUMO

We studied the relationship between blood cortisol level and hemogram parameters in animals with bile peritonitis. A strong correlation was revealed between variations in cortisol concentration and leukocyte count. We found differences in the hormonal regulation of individual cell populations in the peripheral blood.
