RESUMO
A state of autoimmunity was studied in 25 patients, suffering diffuse toxic goiter (DTG), and in 20--in nodular euthyroid goiter (NEG) before and after the operation. The level of circulating immune complexes, quantity of cytotoxic lymphocytes, the subpopulation index, the apoptosis marker were determined. There was established, that in NEG autoimmune disorders have occurred rarer and were less severe, than in DTG.

The immunity changes were studied preoperatively in 36 patients suffering polynodose euthyroid goiter and in 85--postoperatively. The immunity system disorders are more profound in the early terms after the operation and their severity directly depends on its volume. The immunity changes are significantly expressed in adenomatous transformation of the thyroid gland tissues and in postoperative hypothyroidism.

Results of surgical treatment of 150 patients with polinodous euthyroid goiter were studied up. The influence of various factors on course of hypothyrosis in postoperative period was shown.

The results of surgical treatment of 150 patients with polynodous euthyroid goiter were studied. There was shown the influence of various factors on the disease recurrence frequency.

In 66 patients carcinoma was formed on background of euthyroid multinodal goiter (MNG). There was established, that the malignant tumours in patients with euthyroid MNG in principal are the papillare thyroid carcinoma of a small size, do not invade the capsula of thyroid gland, that testifying relatively favourable course of the disease.

Results of surgical treatment of 69 patients with polynodous euthyroid goiter were studied. There was established, that postoperative hypothyrosis is occurring more often in women aged from 41 to 70 years with colloid goiter in combination with adenoma of thyroid gland (in 60% observations) and adenomatous goiter (in 42.8%). Increase of residual tissues volume of thyroid gland do not always provide the decrease of the hypothyrosis frequency occurrence. The physician control absence for the hormonal therapy management worsens the postoperative hypothyrosis course.

Results of surgical treatment of 93 patients with polynodular euthyroid goiter were studied. Influence of the operative intervention volume, morphological form of goiter and postoperative hormonal therapy conduction on the frequency of the recurrency occurrence was noted.
