RESUMO

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, systemic, autoimmune disease of unknown etiology with erosive, symmetric polyarthritis as the main clinical manifestations. Its basic pathological changes are the formation of synovitis, and patients gradually develop destruction of articular cartilage destruction and bone erosion, which eventually leads to joint deformity, disability, and various extra-articular manifestations. Clinical prediction models (CPMs), also known as risk prediction models or risk scores, are mathematical formulas used to estimate the probability that a given individual will have a disease or an outcome in the future. The models are mainly divided into two categories: diagnostic models and prognostic models, which can be used to provide information on disease diagnosis or prognosis to help make better medical decisions. Currently, there is no cure for RA, but effective early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for limiting the severity of the disease and preventing the occurrence and development of complications. This paper reviews the CPMs associated with RA and its related complications, including cardiovascular disease (CVD) and interstitial lung disease (ILD), in order to provide reference and evidence for the early diagnosis and treatment of these diseases and personalized medicine for patients. In addition, the possible pathogenesis and risk factors of these comorbidities are summarized, and possible directions for future related research are prospected.

RESUMO

Mental health problems are prevalent among China's internal migrant workers. However, research on the relationship between socioeconomic status (SES) and mental health is insufficient. Therefore, this study, utilizing the China's National Dynamic Monitoring Survey data from a sample of 15,997 migrant workers aged 15-59 years to explore differences in the relationship between migrants' objective and subjective SES and mental health status in 2015. Both the mediating effect of perceived interpersonal discrimination and the moderating effect of age were examined through structural equation modeling. The results indicated that subjective SES has a stronger direct relationship with mental health than objective SES. Perceived interpersonal discrimination mediated the association between subjective SES and mental health. Furthermore, a much stronger relationship was found between subjective SES and perceived interpersonal discrimination among migrants older than 24 years of age than younger migrant groups. The results showed that, compared with traditional objective SES indicators, subjective SES could be a more sensitive index for identifying those migrant workers with a high risk of mental health problems. In addition, reducing interpersonal discrimination toward migrants can alleviate their mental health problems. And we should pay more attention to older migrant workers since they are more likely to prone to interpersonal discrimination and mental health issues.

RESUMO

It is hard to directly deploy deep learning models on today's smartphones due to the substantial computational costs introduced by millions of parameters. To compress the model, we develop an ℓ0-based sparse group lasso model called MobilePrune which can generate extremely compact neural network models for both desktop and mobile platforms. We adopt group lasso penalty to enforce sparsity at the group level to benefit General Matrix Multiply (GEMM) and develop the very first algorithm that can optimize the ℓ0 norm in an exact manner and achieve the global convergence guarantee in the deep learning context. MobilePrune also allows complicated group structures to be applied on the group penalty (i.e., trees and overlapping groups) to suit DNN models with more complex architectures. Empirically, we observe the substantial reduction of compression ratio and computational costs for various popular deep learning models on multiple benchmark datasets compared to the state-of-the-art methods. More importantly, the compression models are deployed on the android system to confirm that our approach is able to achieve less response delay and battery consumption on mobile phones.

RESUMO

In this paper, we propose AirSign, a novel user authentication technology to provide users with more convenient, intuitive, and secure ways of interacting with smartphones in daily settings. AirSign leverages both acoustic and motion sensors for user authentication by signing signatures in the air through smartphones without requiring any special hardware. This technology actively transmits inaudible acoustic signals from the earpiece speaker, receives echoes back through both built-in microphones to "illuminate" signature and hand geometry, and authenticates users according to the unique features extracted from echoes and motion sensors. To evaluate our system, we collected registered, genuine, and forged signatures from 30 participants, and by applying AirSign on the above dataset, we were able to successfully distinguish between genuine and forged signatures with a 97.1% F-score while requesting only seven signatures during the registration phase.

RESUMO

Recently, transition metal-based nanomaterials have played a key role in the applications of supercapacitors. In this study, nickel phosphide (Ni-P) was simply combined with NiCo LDH via facile phosphorization of Ni foam and subsequent electrodeposition to form core-shell nanorod arrays on the Ni foam; the Ni-P@NiCo LDH was then directly used for a pseudocapacitive electrode. Owing to the splendid synergistic effect between Ni-P and NiCo LDH nanosheets as well as the hierarchical structure of 1D nanorods, 2D nanosheets, and 3D Ni foam, the hybrid electrode exhibited significantly enhanced electrochemical performances. The Ni-P@NiCo LDH electrode showed a high specific capacitance of 12.9 F cm-2 at 5 mA cm-2 (3470.5 F g-1 at a current density of 1.3 A g-1) that remained as high as 6.4 F cm-2 at a high current density of 100 mA cm-2 (1700 F g-1 at 27 A g-1) and excellent cycling stability (96% capacity retention after 10 000 cycles at 40 mA cm-2). Furthermore, the asymmetric supercapacitors (ASCs) were assembled using Ni-P@NiCo LDH as a positive electrode and activated carbon (AC) as a negative electrode. The obtained ASCs delivered remarkable energy density and power density as well as good cycling performance. The enhanced electrochemical activities open a new avenue for the development of supercapacitors.

RESUMO

Active materials and special structures of the electrode have decisive influence on the electrochemical properties of supercapacitors. Herein, three-dimensional (3D) hierarchical NixCo1-xO/NiyCo2-yP@C (denoted as NiCoOP@C) hybrids have been successfully prepared by a phosphorization treatment of hierarchical NixCo1-xO@C grown on nickel foam. The resulting NiCoOP@C hybrids exhibit an outstanding specific capacitance and cycle performance because they couple the merits of the superior cycling stability of NixCo1-xO, the high specific capacitance of NiyCo2-yP, the mechanical stability of carbon layer, and the 3D hierarchical structure. The specific capacitance of 2638 F g-1 can be obtained at the current density of 1 A g-1, and even at the current density of 20 A g-1, the NiCoOP@C electrode still possesses a specific capacitance of 1144 F g-1. After 3000 cycles at 10 A g-1, 84% of the initial specific capacitance is still remained. In addition, an asymmetric ultracapacitor (ASC) is assembled through using NiCoOP@C hybrids as anode and activated carbon as cathode. The as-prepared ASC obtains a maximum energy density of 39.4 Wh kg-1 at a power density of 394 W kg-1 and still holds 21 Wh kg-1 at 7500 W kg-1.

RESUMO

vacuum sublimation method was used to purify the homegrown 3,4,9,10 perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride(PTCDA)powder with a purity of 98% in its sublimation point of 450 ℃. With Bill's law and ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer testing analysis, its purity reached to 99.8%. Meanwhile, the contents of C and H elements in the pre-and post-purified molecules were also measured by using elemental analyzer. The measured results indicate that the contents of C and H elements in the post-purified the molecules are very close to the theoretical value. H element in the molecular structure was investigated with nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and the results demonstrated that there are an equal number of H atoms in two different chemical environments and it can only be located on the aromatic ring. By discussing the chemical bond formation of PTCDA molecules, the C, H and O atoms in high purity PTCDA molecules are mainly covalent bonds. The crystalline state and crystal structure of this organic material were tested and analyzed by X-ray diffractometer. The results suggest that the post-purified PTCDA power existed α-PTCDA and ß-PTCDA two phases, in which α-PTCDA phase is major component while ß-PTCDA phase accounts for about one five of the total ingredients. Besides, the crystal cell belonged to bottom-centered monoclinal structure. Meanwhile, the crystal state, grain size and band structure of PTCDA single crystal thin films formed on the surface of p-type silicon in its sublimation point are investigated in detail. During the high-purity α-PTCDA forming organic single thin film on the surface of p-type single silicon, the π-electron cloud covered on the top, bottom and two sides of its thin film's molecular layer plane. Due to the formation of delocalized bond that attributed to the overlap of the outermost valence electron orbital of C, H, O atom, the valence electrons generate co-movement and the energy level splitting for the band. The energy difference between valence band and the first tight binding is 2.2 eV which lead to this organic material possessing the properties of semiconductor conduction. In addition, this organic material with the intrinsic carrier concentration for 1014 cm-3 belong to weak p-type organic semiconductor material. This organic material combines with the surface of p-type silicon to form hetehomo-type heterojunction which is provided with excellent response for visible light to near infrared wavelengths of light.
