THE AIM OF THE STUDY: Is to establish the possibility of studying the vitreous body of the eye from embalmed corpses using the spin probe method to develop diagnostic criteria for the prescription of death coming. The article presents data showing the possibility of diagnosing the prescription of death coming by the method of spin probes with the examination of the vitreous body of the eye from embalmed corpses. A total of 510 spectra obtained during incubation of the 1-oxyl-4-oxo-2.2.6.6-tetramethyl-piperidin spin probe in the vitreous body were studied. Measurements of each of the 6 objects were carried out daily for 10 days after embalming. The prospects of studying the vitreous body by spin probes in embalmed corpses for the development of diagnostic criteria for the prescription of death coming up to 4 days from the moment of embalming have been established.

The article is devoted to the history of the formation and development of the department of forensic medicine named after P.A. Minakov of the medical faculty of the Pirogov russian national research medical university for 115 years. Periodicity of the development of directions in the field of scientific research, the organization of teaching, expert and public activities of the Moscow school of forensic doctors and the invaluable contribution of the heads of the department in each of the periods are shown.

The authors consider the selected stages in the development of the system of continuous medical education in the field of forensic medicine and forensic medical expertise as well as the contribution of the Department of Forensic Medicine of N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University to its practical implementation. The relevant conceptual problems and topical issues are discussed together with certain approaches to their solution.

Until recently Rubella has been a wide spread infection. Thanks to vaccination against rubella, taking part in the global elimination program of "manageable infections" of WHO and adoption of the program "Elimination of measles and rubella in Russian Federation" the morbidity index of rubella has reached the sporadic level. One of the determining conditions of rubella elimination is application of high-quality vaccines that satisfy international standards. In Russian Federation, foreign rubella vaccines certified in our country were used for several years. In 2008, the commercial production of domestic vaccine began. It is widely known that the required quality of immunobiological medications is achieved using adequate production conditions and standard technological process. That is why during the production of domestic rubella vaccine, all the rules and requirements of Russian regulatory authorities and international recommendations are followed. In this article, a retrospective analysis of domestic vaccine against rubella according to laboratory options of quality in 2012-2017 is given. The results of the analysis show that the medication demonstrates stable high quality that is indicative of secure production technologies.
RESUMO
This work was designed to study morphological traits of 30 stab-slash skin wounds after staying in water for 1-31 days. It was shown that effect of water exposure on morphometric parameters of the wounds depends on its duration, and the resulting changes are characterized by certain regular features that can be used for the purpose of identification of injury implement.

Seventy-eight children aged 6-7 years were subcutaneously revaccinated with L-3 live mumps vaccine. The vaccine is slightly reactogenic and completely safe. The level of antibodies increased on day 10 postvaccination in 80% of children with initially low antibody titers. Subcutaneous revaccination resulted in appearance of anti-parotitis antibodies in nasal secretions of 60% and in the saliva of 20% children, this indicating sufficiently high immunogenic activity of the vaccine.

A comparative study was performed in order to validate new Russian e-PTFE vascular prostheses Vitaflon (St. Petersburg, Russia). The Gore-Tex prostheses were chosen as a referential model. The prostheses were implanted in the venous and arterial positions in 13 dog experiments. After the implantation time was over a comprehensive histological and histochemical examination of excized specimens was performed. It was demonstrated that there is no difference in healing and functional properties between the two studied prostheses.

Small-scale measles and mumps virus propagation in microcarrier-grown cells was studied to assess putative advantages over conventional roller-type virus propagation. Significantly higher virus yields could not be attained with microcarrier cultures in cell stirrers, therefore making the advantages purely technological. The pattern of measles virus production was slightly different for the three types of microcarriers used. Experimental measles and mumps vaccine lots obtained met vaccine quality control requirements.
