BACKGROUND: Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) is a tropical fruit crop of pharma-nutritional importance. However, it faces farming challenges due to pests and diseases, particularly bacterial blight and wilt. Developing resistant cultivars is crucial for sustainable pomegranate cultivation, and understanding resistance's genetic basis is essential. METHODS AND RESULTS: We used an extensive resistance gene analogues (RGA) prediction tool to identify 958 RGAs, classified into Nucleotide Binding Site-leucine-rich repeat (NBS-LRR) proteins, receptor-like kinases (RLKs), receptor-like proteins (RLPs), Transmembrane coiled-coil (TM-CC), and nine non-canonical RGAs. RGAs were distributed across all eight chromosomes, with chromosome 02 containing the most RGAs (161), and chromosome 08 having the highest density (4.42 RGA/Mb). NBS-LRR genes were predominantly present on chromosomes 08 and 02, whereas RLKs and RLPs were primarily located on chromosomes 04 and 07. Gene ontology analysis revealed that 475 RGAs were associated with defence against various biotic stresses. Using RNAseq, we identified 120 differentially expressed RGAs, with RLKs (74) being prominent among the differentially expressed genes. CONCLUSION: The discovery of these RGAs is a significant step towards breeding pomegranates for pest and disease resistance. The differentially expressed RLKs hold promise for developing resistant cultivars against bacterial blight, thereby contributing to the sustainability of pomegranate cultivation.

OBJECTIVE: Objective of the study was to reduce heat stress in Murrah buffaloes and maintain their milk production and other vital functions during heat stress. METHODS: A total of 21 dyads of calf-mother Murrah buffalo were selected for the study and equally divided in 3 treatment groups. First treatment group was restricted calf contact (RCC), second treatment group was fence line calf contact (FCC) and third treatment groups fence line calf contact and heat stress protection (FCC-HSP [time-controlled fan-fogger system] in the shed). Present study was conducted from April to mid-September 2021. RESULTS: Maximum temperature and temperature humidity index in FCC-HSP shed were significantly (p<0.05) lower than that in FCC and RCC shed. Higher (p<0.05) mean daily milk yield in both the treatment groups FCC (10.36±0.30) and FCC-HSP (10.97±0.31) than RCC (8.29±0.41) was recorded. Though no significant difference between FCC and FCC-HSP in daily milk yield but FCC-HSP yielded 600 gm more milk than FCC. Pulse rate (PR) and respiration rate (RR) were lowest in FCC-HSP followed by FCC and RCC, respectively. Cortisol and prolactin levels were lower (p<0.05) in FCC-HSP followed by FCC and RCC, respectively. CONCLUSION: Hence, FCC along with heat stress ameliorative measures helped the buffaloes to be free of stress and maintain milk yield during heat stress period of the year in tropical conditions.

Substituted ethoxy phthalimide pyrazole derivatives (6a-e) have been produced using a one-pot synthesis technique. Spectral analysis was used to establish the molecular structure of the synthesized compounds, and they were examined in silico and in vitro for their ability to bind to and inhibit replication of the AD-169 strain, the Davis strain of CMV, the OKA strain and the 07/1 strain of Varicella-Zoster virus (VZV). Molecular Docking was used to estimate the binding mechanism and energy of compounds 4, 6a-e to their respective target proteins, thymidine kinase (TK), Varicella-Zoster protease (VZP) of VZV and tegument protein pp71 (TPpp71) of Cytomegalovirus (CMV). The MIC50 and EC50 were utilized to evaluate the antiviral and cytotoxic activities of test compounds in human embryonic lung (HEL) cells against the two reference medicines, Ganciclovir and Acyclovir. The chemicals studied showed a high affinity for binding sites and near binding sites of target proteins by generating H-bonds, carbon-hydrogen bonds, π-anion, π-sulfur, π-sigma, alkyl and π-alkyl interactions. All of the test compounds (6a-e) had higher binding energy than the standard medications. The ADME/T data suggests that these potential inhibitors are less toxic. Drug-protein complexes are structurally compact and demonstrate minimal conformational change in molecular dynamics (MDs) simulations, indicating stability and stiffness. MM-PBSA and post-simulation analysis can predict lead compound active cavity binding stability. By inhibiting multitargeted proteins, these synthetic compounds may improve antiviral therapy. Our research suggests that these unique synthesized chemicals may be useful and accessible adjuvant antiviral therapy for Varicella Zoster and CMV. RESUMO

This study provides insights into the influence of state park image, visitor emotions, and place identity on visitors' revisit intentions by considering the moderating impact of national culture. A quantitative process with the data collected in India, Korea, and the US was used. Hierarchical regression analysis evidences the moderating role of national culture, which is hardly explored in the state park context. Results confirm that most hypotheses are fully or partially accepted, which suggests that brand image and national culture influence visitor intention. This study helps practitioners better understand the relevance of national culture in developing appropriate visitor attraction/retention strategies.

Pomegranate (Punica granatum, L.) is a fruit tree that is increasingly popular worldwide due to the health-related properties of the fruit juice. While several studies highlighted the rich phytochemical diversity, few efforts have been devoted to an integrative understanding of the level of diversity of this species. This study investigated the diversity of 40 pomegranate accessions in an Indian ex situ collection by using twenty-nine morphological traits, six biochemical parameters, and twenty-nine Simple Sequence Repeats (SSR) markers. Among the evaluated traits, fruit volume (23.34% CV), fruit weight (21.12% CV), and fruit color (*a) (22.69 % CV) largely contributed to the morphological classification. Based on Mahalanobis D2 distance and Tocher's clustering, the 40 pomegranate accessions were grouped into eight clusters, partly consistent with their origin. Specifically, cultivars introduced from foreign countries were present in distinct clusters. The SSR marker analysis generated 66 alleles. The observed heterozygosity values ranged from 0.05 to 0.63, with a mean value of 0.30. Maximum molecular genetic dissimilarity was observed between 'IC-318720' and 'Gul-e-Shah Red' (0.30). The neighbor-joining dendrogram separated wild accessions from cultivated varieties. The combination of morphological, biochemical, and molecular characterization allowed for comprehensively characterizing the pomegranate diversity and provided information on the relationships between the different aspects of the diversity. This work also suggests that the origin of the accessions is an important factor of discrimination and that the level of admixture between local and foreign material is currently limited.

Introduction: Academic conferences are carbon-intensive. Conference travel by air contributes to huge amount of global greenhouse gas emissions, which can be reduced by adopting green information systems (green IS or GIS). This study aims to investigate attendees' behaviors for adopting green IS (such as conference apps) from an ecological perspective. Methods: For this research, a survey method was used. Survey instrument had 29 items adapted from existing scales. Data was collected using Mturk's panel of respondents on online Qualtrics. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted on 403 responses for data analysis and validation of the results using SPSS AMOS ver. 24. Findings: This study provides empirical evidence to add ecological beliefs as a key predictor of green IS adoption models. Findings demonstrate that attitudes and ecological beliefs play an essential role in conference app adoption, in comparison with performance expectations, social impacts, and facilitation conditions, as presented in the traditional technology acceptance literature. Findings assist conference owners develop essential communication strategies for green attendees.

Present research discovered novel miRNA-SSRs for seed type trait from 761 potential precursor miRNA sequences of pomegranate. SSR mining and BLASTx of the unique sequences identified 69 non-coding pre-miRNA sequences, which were then searched for BLASTn homology against Dabenzi genome. Sixty three true pri-miRNA contigs encoding 213 pre-miRNAs were predicted. Analysis of the resulting sequences enabled discovery of SSRs within pri-miRNA (227) and pre-miRNA sequences (79). A total of 132 miRNA-SSRs were developed for seed type trait from 63 true pri-miRNAs, of which 46 were specific to pre-miRNAs. Through ePCR, 123 primers were validated and mapped on eight Tunisia chromosomes. Further, 80 SSRs producing specific amplicons were ePCR-confirmed on multiple genomes i.e. Dabenzi, Taishanhong, AG2017 and Tunisia, yielding a set of 63 polymorphic SSRs (polymorphism information content ≥0.5). Of these, 32 miRNA-SSRs revealed higher polymorphism level (89.29%) when assayed on six pomegranate genotypes. Furthermore, target prediction and network analysis suggested a possible association of miRNA-SSRs i.e. miRNA_SH_SSR69, miRNA_SH_SSR36, miRNA_SH_SSR103, miRNA_SH_SSR35 and miRNA_SH_SSR53 with seed type trait. These miRNA-SSRs would serve as important genomic resource for rapid and targeted improvement of seed type trait of pomegranate.

Pomegranate bacterial blight caused by Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. punicae (Xap) is a highly destructive disease. In the absence of host resistance to the disease, we aimed to evaluate the biocontrol potential of endophytic bacteria against Xap. Thus, in this study, we isolated endophytes from pomegranate plants, identified them on the basis of 16S rDNA sequencing, tested them against Xap, and estimated the endophyte-mediated host defense response. The population of isolated endophytes ranged from 3 × 106 to 8 × 107 CFU/g tissue. Furthermore, 26 isolates were evaluated for their biocontrol activity against Xap, and all the tested isolates significantly reduced the in vitro growth of Xap (15.65% ± 1.25% to 56.35% ± 2.66%) as compared to control. These isolates could reduce fuscan, an uncharacterized factor of Xap involved in its aggressiveness. Lower blight incidence (11.6%) and severity (6.1%) were recorded in plants sprayed with endophytes 8 days ahead of Xap spray (Set-III) as compared to control plants which were not exposed to endophytes (77.33 and 50%, respectively%) during in vivo evaluation. Moreover, significantly high phenolic and chlorophyll contents were estimated in endophyte-treated plants as compared to control. The promising isolates mostly belonged to the genera Bacillus, Burkholderia, and Lysinibacillus, and they were deposited to the National Agriculturally Important Microbial Culture Collection, India.

SGK1 (Serum and Glucocorticoid Regulated Kinase 1), a serine/threonine kinase that is activated by various stimuli, including serum and glucocorticoids. It controls inflammation, apoptosis, hormone release, neuro-excitability and cell proliferation, all of which play an important role in cancer progression and metastasis. SGK1 was recently proposed as a potential drug target for cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases. In this study, molecular docking, physiochemical, toxicological properties and molecular dynamic simulation of the Bis-[1-N,7-N, Pyrazolo tetraethoxyphthalimido{-4-(3,5-Dimethyl-4-(spiro-3-methylpyazolo)-1,7-dihydro-1H-dipyrazolo[3,4-b;4',3'-e]pyridin-8-yl)}]p-disubstituted phenyl compoundsand reference EMD638683 against new SGK1 target protein. Compared to the reference inhibitor EMD638683, we choose the best compounds (series 2-6) based on the binding energy (in the range from -11.0 to -10.6 kcal/mol). With the exception of compounds 2 and 6, none of the compounds posed a risk for AMES toxicity or carcinogenicity due to their toxicological properties. 100 ns MD simulation accompanied by MM/PBSA energy calculations and PCA. According to MD simulation results, the binding of compounds 3, 4 and 5 stabilizes the SGK1 structure and causes febrile conformational changes compared to EMD638683. As a result of this research, the final selected compounds 3, 4 and 5 can be used as scaffolds to develop promising SGK1 inhibitors for the treatment of related diseases such as cancer.Communicated by Ramaswamy H. Here we report on comprehensive chloroplast (cp) genome analysis of 16 pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) genotypes representing commercial cultivars, ornamental and wild types, through large-scale sequencing and assembling using next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology. Comparative genome analysis revealed that the size of cp genomes varied from 158,593 bp (in wild, "1201" and "1181") to 158,662 bp (cultivar, "Gul-e-Shah Red") among the genotypes, with characteristic quadripartite structures separated by a pair of inverted repeats (IRs). The higher conservation for the total number of coding and non-coding genes (rRNA and tRNA) and their sizes, and IRs (IR-A and IR-B) were observed across all the cp genomes. Interestingly, high variations were observed in sizes of large single copy (LSC, 88,976 to 89,044 bp) and small single copy (SSC, 18,682 to 18,684 bp) regions. Although, the structural organization of newly assembled cp genomes were comparable to that of previously reported cp genomes of pomegranate ("Helow," "Tunisia," and "Bhagawa"), the striking differences were observed with the Lagerstroemia lines, viz., Lagerstroemia intermedia (NC_0346620) and Lagerstroemia speciosa (NC_031414), which clearly confirmed previous findings. Furthermore, phylogenetic analysis also revealed that members outside the genus Punica were clubbed into a separate clade. The contraction and expansion analysis revealed that the structural variations in IRs, LSC, and SSC have significantly accounted for the evolution of cp genomes of Punica and L. intermedia over the periods. Microsatellite survey across cp genomes resulted in the identification of a total of 233 to 234 SSRs, with majority of them being mono- (A/T or C/G, 164-165 numbers), followed by di- (AT/AT or AG/CT, 54), tri- (6), tetra- (8), and pentanucleotides (1). Furthermore, the comparative structural variant analyses across cp genomes resulted in the identification of many varietal specific SNP/indel markers. In summary, our study has offered a successful development of large-scale cp genomics resources to leverage future genetic, taxonomical, and phylogenetic studies in pomegranate.

The simple sequence repeat (SSR) survey of 'Tunisia' genome (296.85 Mb) identified a total of 365,279 perfect SSRs spanning eight chromosomes, with a mean marker density of 1,230.6 SSRs/Mb. We found a positive trend in chromosome length and the SSR abundance as marker density enhanced with a shorter chromosome length. The highest number of SSRs (60,708) was mined from chromosome 1 (55.56 Mb), whereas the highest marker density (1,294.62 SSRs/Mb) was recorded for the shortest chromosome 8 (27.99 Mb). Furthermore, we categorized all SSR motifs into three major classes based on their tract lengths. Across the eight chromosomes, the class III had maximum number of SSR motifs (301,684, 82.59%), followed by the class II (31,056, 8.50%) and the class I (5,003, 1.37%). Examination of the distribution of SSR motif types within a chromosome suggested the abundance of hexanucleotide repeats in each chromosome followed by dinucleotides, and these results are consistent with 'Tunisia' genome features as a whole. Concerning major repeat types, AT/AG was the most frequent (14.16%), followed by AAAAAT/AAAAAG (7.89%), A/C (7.54%), AAT/AAG (5.23%), AAAT/AAAG (4.37%), and AAAAT/AAAAG (1.2%) types. We designed and validated a total of 3,839 class I SSRs in the 'Tunisia' genome through electronic polymerase chain reaction (ePCR) and found 1,165 (30.34%) SSRs producing a single amplicon. Then, we selected 906 highly variable SSRs (> 40 nt) from the ePCR-verified class I SSRs and in silico validated across multiple draft genomes of pomegranate, which provided us a subset of 265 highly polymorphic SSRs. Of these, 235 primers were validated on six pomegranate genotypes through wet-lab experiment. We found 221 (94%) polymorphic SSRs on six genotypes, and 187 of these SSRs had ≥ 0.5 PIC values. The utility of the developed SSRs was demonstrated by analyzing genetic diversity of 30 pomegranate genotypes using 16 HvSSRs spanning eight pomegranate chromosomes. In summary, we developed a comprehensive set of highly polymorphic genome-wide SSRs. These chromosome-specific SSRs will serve as a powerful genomic tool to leverage future genetic studies, germplasm management, and genomics-assisted breeding in pomegranate.

BACKGROUND: Interpretation of medical images for the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases from high-dimensional and heterogeneous data remains a key challenge in transforming healthcare. In the last few years, both supervised and unsupervised deep learning achieved promising results in the area of medical image analysis. Several reviews on supervised deep learning are published, but hardly any rigorous review on unsupervised deep learning for medical image analysis is available. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this review is to systematically present various unsupervised deep learning models, tools, and benchmark datasets applied to medical image analysis. Some of the discussed models are autoencoders and their variants, Restricted Boltzmann Machines (RBM), Deep Belief Networks (DBN), Deep Boltzmann Machine (DBM), and Generative Adversarial Network (GAN). Future research opportunities and challenges of unsupervised deep learning techniques for medical image analysis are also discussed. CONCLUSION: Currently, interpretation of medical images for diagnostic purposes is usually performed by human experts that may be replaced by computer-aided diagnosis due to advancement in machine learning techniques, including deep learning, and the availability of cheap computing infrastructure through cloud computing. Both supervised and unsupervised machine learning approaches are widely applied in medical image analysis, each of them having certain pros and cons. Since human supervisions are not always available or are inadequate or biased, therefore, unsupervised learning algorithms give a big hope with lots of advantages for biomedical image analysis.

Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) is an important fruit crop, rich in fiber, vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and source of different biologically active compounds. The bacterial blight caused by Xanthomonas axonopodispv. punicae is a serious threat to the crop leading to 60-80% yield loss under epiphytotic conditions. In this work, we have generated comparative transcriptome profile to mark the gene expression signatures during resistance and susceptible interactions. We analyzed leaf and fruits samples of moderately resistant genotype (IC 524207) and susceptible variety (Bhagawa) of pomegranate at three progressive infection stages upon inoculation with the pathogen. RNA-Seq with the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform revealed 1,88,337 non-redundant (nr) transcript sequences from raw sequencing data, for a total of 34,626 unigenes with size >2 kb. Moreover, 85.3% unigenes were annotated in at least one of the seven databases examined. Comparative analysis of gene-expression signatures in resistant and susceptible varieties showed that the genes known to be involved in defense mechanism in plants were up-regulated in resistant variety. Gene Ontology (GO) analysis successfully annotated 90,485 pomegranate unigenes, of which 68,464 were assigned to biological, 78,107 unigenes molecular function and 44,414 to cellular components. Significantly enriched GO terms in DEGs were related to oxidations reduction biological process, protein binding and oxidoreductase activity. This transcriptome data on pomegranate could help in understanding resistance and susceptibility nature of cultivars and further detailed fine mapping and functional validation of identified candidate gene would provide scope for resistance breeding programme in pomegranate.

It has been shown experimentally that the albumin proteins can be significantly protected by silver nanoclusters (AgNCs) from the adverse effects of UVC radiation. The parameters have been compared with the effects of gold nanoclusters (AuNCs) under similar circumstances. The protection depends on the absorptive power of the metal cluster. Since serum albumin is found in blood and lysozyme in tears, saliva, sweat, and other body fluids, hence these are often vulnerable to attack by the exposure to UV radiation. It is also shown that, the AgNCs provide greater benefits over the application of AuNCs by being more biocompatible and cheap. Au being an expensive material, a cheaper protective option is always viable as the protective mechanism depends on the radiation absorption capability of the metal core. Moreover, it has also been shown that glucose helps in protecting the proteins attached to the AgNCs.

BACKGROUND: MicroRNAs (miRNAs), a class of small non-coding endogenous RNAs that regulate gene expression post-transcriptionally, play multiple key roles in plant growth and development and in biotic and abiotic stress response. Knowledge and roles of miRNAs in pomegranate fruit development have not been explored. RESULTS: Pomegranate, which accumulates a large amount of anthocyanins in skin and arils, is valuable to human health, mainly because of its antioxidant properties. In this study, we developed a small RNA library from pooled RNA samples from young seedlings to mature fruits and identified both conserved and pomegranate-specific miRNA from 29,948,480 high-quality reads. For the pool of 15- to 30-nt small RNAs, ~50 % were 24 nt. The miR157 family was the most abundant, followed by miR156, miR166, and miR168, with variants within each family. The base bias at the first position from the 5' end had a strong preference for U for most 18- to 26-nt sRNAs but a preference for A for 18-nt sRNAs. In addition, for all 24-nt sRNAs, the nucleotide U was preferred (97 %) in the first position. Stem-loop RT-qPCR was used to validate the expression of the predominant miRNAs and novel miRNAs in leaves, male and female flowers, and multiple fruit developmental stages; miR156, miR156a, miR159a, miR159b, and miR319b were upregulated during the later stages of fruit development. Higher expression of miR156 in later fruit developmental may positively regulate anthocyanin biosynthesis by reducing SPL transcription factor. Novel miRNAs showed variation in expression among different tissues. These novel miRNAs targeted different transcription factors and hormone related regulators. Gene ontology and KEGG pathway analyses revealed predominant metabolic processes and catalytic activities, important for fruit development. In addition, KEGG pathway analyses revealed the involvement of miRNAs in ascorbate and linolenic acid, starch and sucrose metabolism; RNA transport; plant hormone signaling pathways; and circadian clock. CONCLUSION: Our first and preliminary report of miRNAs will provide information on the synthesis of biochemical compounds of pomegranate for future research. The functions of the targets of the novel miRNAs need further investigation.

This genetic diversity study aimed to estimate the population structure and explore the use of association mapping strategies to identify linked markers for bacterial resistance, growth and fruit quality in pomegranate collections from India. In total, 88 accessions including 37 cultivated types were investigated. A total of 112 alleles were amplified by use of 44 publicly available microsatellites for estimating molecular genetic diversity and population structure. Neighbor-joining analysis, model-based population structure and principal component analysis corroborated the genetic relationships among wild-type and cultivated pomegranate collections from India. Our study placed all 88 germplasm into four clusters. We identified a cultivated clade of pomegranates in close proximity to Daru types of wild-type pomegranates that grow naturally near the foothills of the Himalayas. Admixture analysis sorted various lineages of cultivated pomegranates to their respective ancestral forms. We identified four linked markers for fruit weight, titratable acidity and bacterial blight severity. PGCT001 was found associated with both fruit weight and bacterial blight, and the association with fruit weight during both seasons analyzed was significant after Bonferroni correction. This research demonstrates effectiveness of microsatellites to resolve population structure among the wild and cultivar collection of pomegranates and future use for association mapping studies.

To overcome many challenges associated with antiretroviral drug therapy, novel drug delivery systems present an opportunity for formulation scientists to improve the management of patients with HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this study was to prepare a transdermal delivery system for zidovudine using different penetration enhancers incorporated in carbopol 971P gel and to evaluate the same for rheology, percent drug content, drug deposition, in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo permeation across rat skin. The rheology studies indicated that 1% w/w carbopol gel had a higher linear viscoelastic region, good creep recovery, and desirable viscosity. Among all gel formulations, gel containing cineole and menthol as penetration enhancers attained a steady-state flux of 5.9 mg/cm(2)/h and 5.4 mg/cm(2)/h of zidovudine, respectively, leading to plasma concentration in the therapeutic range. The drug deposition was also found to be highest in the case of gel containing cineole and menthol as penetration enhancers. The results indicated a linear relationship between in vitro flux and in vivo bioavailability of zidovudine transdermal gel.

A series of ternary copper(II) complexes containing same coordination sphere but difference in the counter ions, viz., [Cu(PMDT)(OAc)]PF(6)(1); [Cu(PMDT)(OAc)]ClO(4)(2); [Cu(PMDT)(OAc)]BF(4)(3) and [Cu(PMDT)(OAc)]BPh(4)(4) where PMDT=N,N,N',N'',N''-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine, OAc=Acetate ion were synthesized and characterized by means of spectroscopic, magnetic and cyclic voltammetric measurements. In frozen solution e.p.r. spectra, an interesting relation g|| >g(perpendicular) has been observed which is atypical of the axially symmetric d(9) Cu(II) (S(Cu)=1/2) having an unpaired electron in a d (x2-y2) orbital. Single crystal X-ray analysis of (1) has revealed the presence of distorted square planar geometry. The influence of the counter ion on the complexes has been examined by performing some biological experiments like superoxide dismutase and anti-microbial activity.

Ternary copper(II) complexes involving polypyridyl ligands in the coordination sphere of composition [Cu(tpy)(phen)](ClO4)2 (1), [Cu(tpy)(bipy)](ClO4)2 (2), [Cu(tptz)(phen)](ClO4)2 (3) and [Cu(tptz)(bipy)](BF4)2 (4) where tpy = 2,2':6',2''-terpyridine, tptz = 2,4,6-tri(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, X-band e.p.r. spectroscopy and electronic spectroscopy. Single crystal X-ray of (1) has revealed the presence of a distorted square pyramidal geometry in the complex. Magnetic susceptibility measurements at room temperature were in the range of 1.77-1.81 BM. SOD and antimicrobial activities of these complexes were also measured. Crystal data of (1): P-1, a = 9.3010(7) A, b = 9.7900(6) A, c = 16.4620(6) A, Vc = 1342.73(14) A3, Z = 4. The bond distance of CuN in square base is 2+/-0.04 A.
