RESUMO

Background: Suicide ideation has high prevalence in adolescents, better future time perspective is considered a protective role for anxiety, depression, and suicide ideation. However, the impact of future time perspective on suicide ideation remains unclear, especially when anxiety and depression as mediating roles. Methods: A cross-sectional study of college students was performed in Chongqing, China. There are 851 students enrolled in this study and we distribute questionnaires through the WeChat platform to obtain data in 2023. We conducted Pearson correlation analysis and descriptive statistics. Model 6 in PROCESS 4.0 was used to test the multiple mediating effect. Results: College students who have higher future time perspective are associated with a lower risk of anxiety, depression, and suicide ideation. Future time perspective not only affects suicide ideation directly, but also influence it by means of two mediating pathways: ①depression, the mediation effect is 37.41 %; ②the multiple mediating effects of anxiety and depression with a mediating effect of 29.68 %. Conclusion: Higher future time perspective functions as a protective role in anxiety, depression, and suicide ideation; future time perspective can affect and predict the occurrence of suicide ideation by influencing anxiety and depression in college students. This conclusion will be a novel and insightful part of adolescent mental health research, and provide a new perspective to prevent college students from committing suicide in the future.

RESUMO

Naphthalocyanine and its derivatives are new types of functional materials with wide application prospects. This paper discusses the synthesis of copper tetra tert-butyl-naphthalocyanine (CuNc) and analyses its molecular and electronic structure. Next, CuNc is combined with graphene oxide (GO) through π-π interaction and then pyrolyzed to form a CuNc/GO composite. A systematic investigation of the morphology, structure, composition and properties of CuNc/GO revealed that N-doped graphene is decorated with CuO particles. The electrochemical properties of CuNc/GO are compared with those of directly pyrolysed CuNc. The prepared CuNc/GO (1 : 1) electrode shows a large specific capacity (655.1 mA h g-1) after 100 cycles at 100 mA g-1. Its high capacity, enhanced cycling stability and strong rate performance are attributed to the synergetic effect of N-doped graphene and CuO particles. Besides expanding the use of naphthalocyanine compounds, this work presents a promising candidate material for lithium-ion battery anodes.

RESUMO

Lithium-sulphur (Li-S) batteries are high-energy-density and cost-effective batteries. Herein, petal-like Ni1-x Mn x (OH)2 (x ≈ 0.04) nanosheets were synthesised using a hydrothermal method and the electrical conductivity of Ni(OH)2 was improved by applying the cathode functional materials in Li-S batteries. With up to 5 mg cm-2 of S content in the cathode, the fabricated Ni1-x Mn x (OH)2 electrode exhibited specific discharge capacities up to 1375 and 1150 mA h g-1 at 0.2 and 0.5C, and retained this capacity at 813 and 714 mA h g-1 after 200 cycles, respectively. Electrochemical measurement results show that Ni1-x Mn x (OH)2 plays a critical role in Li-S batteries as it has a larger specific surface area than Ni(OH)2, which has superior adsorption performance toward lithium polysulphides. Moreover, the conductivity performance of Ni1-x Mn x (OH)2 is significantly better than that of Ni(OH)2, which improves the electrochemical reaction kinetics of the Li-S batteries.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The present study aimed to comprehensively investigate the occurrence and risk factors of adverse events (AEs) or adverse drug reactions (ADRs) (especially for thrombocytopenia and bleeding) in Chinese female patients receiving bivalirudin during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). METHODS: A total of 918 female patients from 27 Chinese medical centers took bivalirudin as anticoagulant for PCI were enrolled in this prospective, multi-center, intensive monitoring study. Safety data (AEs, ADRs, thrombocytopenia and bleeding) were collected from admission to 72 h post bivalirudin administration; then, patients were followed up at the 30th day with the safety data collected as well. RESULTS: One hundred and twenty (13.1%) patients occurred AEs, among which 7 (0.8%) cases experienced severe AEs, and 2 (0.2%) cases died. Besides, 40 (4.4%) patients occurred bivalirudin-related ADRs, in which 3 (0.3%) cases experienced severe ADRs, but 0 (0.0%) cases died. It was of note that 27 (2.9%) and 13 (1.4%) patients experienced thrombocytopenia and bleeding, respectively. Subsequent multivariate analyses observed that: clinical presentation of spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) (odds ratio (OR) = 3.191, P = 0.004), CRUSADE high risk (OR = 2.075, P = 0.031), multiple culprit vessel (OR = 2.328, P = 0.019) independently correlated with higher risk of bivalirudin-related ADRs; clinical presentation of SCAD (OR = 4.388, P = 0.002) and multiple culprit vessel (OR = 2.974, P = 0.010) independently linked with raised thrombocytopenia risk; history of diabetes mellitus (OR = 5.227, P = 0.007) and CRUSADE high risk (OR = 4.475, P = 0.016) were independent factor related to elevated bleeding risk. CONCLUSION: Bivalirudin is well tolerated with low ADRs, thrombocytopenia and bleeding incidences in Chinese female patients undergoing PCI.

RESUMO

KEY MESSAGE: We identified the loss of BoFLC gene as the cause of non-vernalization requirement in B. oleracea. Our developed codominant marker of BoFLC gene can be used for breeding program of B. oleracea crops. Many species of the Brassicaceae family, including some Brassica crops, require vernalization to avoid pre-winter flowering. Vernalization is an unfavorable trait for Chinese kale (Brassica oleracea var. chinensis Lei), a stem vegetable, and therefore it has been lost during its domestication/breeding process. To reveal the genetics of vernalization variation, we constructed an F2 population through crossing a Chinese kale (a non-vernalization crop) with a kale (a vernalization crop). Using bulked segregant analysis (BSA) and RNA-seq, we identified one major quantitative trait locus (QTL) controlling vernalization and fine-mapped it to a region spanning 80 kb. Synteny analysis and PCR-based sequencing results revealed that compared to that of the kale parent, the candidate region of the Chinese kale parent lost a 9,325-bp fragment containing FLC homolog (BoFLC). In addition to the BoFLC gene, there are four other FLC homologs in the genome of B. oleracea, including Bo3g005470, Bo3g024250, Bo9g173370, and Bo9g173400. The qPCR analysis showed that the BoFLC had the highest expression among the five members of the FLC family. Considering the low expression levels of the four paralogs of BoFLC, we speculate that its paralogs cannot compensate the function of the lost BoFLC, therefore the presence/absence (PA) polymorphism of BoFLC determines the vernalization variation. Based on the PA polymorphism of BoFLC, we designed a codominant marker for the vernalization trait, which can be used for breeding programs of B. oleracea crops.

RESUMO

Collagen is a kind of natural biomedical material and collagen based three-dimensional porous scaffolds have been widely used in skin tissue engineering. However, these scaffolds do not meet the requirements for artificial skin substitutes in terms of their poor mechanical properties, short supply, and rejection in the bodies. All of these factors limit their further application in skin tissue engineering. A variety of methods have been chosen to meliorate the situation, such as cross linking and blending other substance for improving mechanical properties. The highly biomimetic scaffolds either in structure or in function can be prepared through culturing cells and loading growth factors. To avoid the drawbacks of unsafety attributing to animals, investigators have fixed their eyes on the recombinant collagen. This paper reviews the the progress of research and application of collagen-based 3-dimensional porous scaffolds in skin tissue engineering.
