BACKGROUND AND AIMS: Aberrant expression of B7 homolog 3 protein (B7-H3) has been detected in various cancers including colorectal cancer (CRC) and implicated in modulating multiple biological functions of CRC cells. However, its role in CRC metastasis has not yet been determined. This study aims to explore and unravel the underlying mechanisms through which B7-H3 contributes to migration, invasion and actin cytoskeleton in CRC. METHODS: The expression of B7-H3 and LIMK1 in CRC tumor samples was determined by IHC staining. Transwell and F-actin immunofluorescence staining assays were performed to explore the role of B7-H3 in migration, invasion and actin filament accumulating of CRC cells. RNA-seq and Western blot assays were used to investigate the molecular mechanisms. RESULTS: B7-H3 was highly expressed in CRC tissues and positively associated with poor prognosis of CRC patients by immunohistochemistry. Migration and invasion assays showed that B7-H3 knockdown significantly inhibited the migration and invasion of CRC cells. B7-H3 overexpression had the opposite effect. Moreover, we determined that B7-H3 could regulate actin cytoskeleton and the RhoA/ROCK1/LIMK1 pathway by F-actin immunofluorescence staining and Western blot. Importantly, the BDP5290, an inhibitor of the RhoA/ROCK1/(LIM domain kinase 1) LIMK1 axis, reversed the effects of B7-H3 overexpression on actin filament accumulating, migration, and invasion of CRC cells. CONCLUSIONS: Our study concluded that B7-H3 facilitated CRC cell actin filament accumulating, migration, and invasion through the RhoA/ROCK1/LIMK1 axis.

Background: Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) and caudate nucleus volume alterations have been linked to Alzheimer's disease (AD), but their relationship remains unclear under the context of subjective cognitive decline (SCD). Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between EDS and caudate nucleus volume in patients with SCD. Methods: The volume of entire brain was measured in 170 patients with SCD, including 37 patients with EDS and 133 non-EDS, from the Sino Longitudinal Study on Cognitive Decline (SILCODE). Participants underwent a comprehensive assessment battery, including neuropsychological and clinical evaluations, blood tests, genetic analysis for APOE ɛ4, and structural MRI scans analyzed using the fully automated segmentation tool, volBrain. Results: Patients with EDS had significantly increased volume in the total and left caudate nucleus compared to non-EDS. The most significant cognitive behavioral factor associated with caudate nucleus volume in the EDS was the Auditory Verbal Learning Test-recognition. Conclusions: These findings suggest that EDS may be associated with alterations in caudate nucleus volume, particularly in the left hemisphere, in the context of SCD. Further research is necessary to understand the underlying mechanisms of this relationship and its implications for clinical management.

BACKGROUND: The adverse effects of a Western diet on obesity and diabetes among reproductive-aged women pose a significant threat to the cardiovascular health of their offspring. Given the crucial role of glutathione metabolism and glutathione-related antioxidant defense systems in cardiovascular diseases through scavenging ROS and maintaining redox homeostasis, further exploration of their specific influence is imperative to develop therapeutic strategies for cardiomyopathy induced by a maternal Western diet. METHODS: We developed a prenatal maternal Western diet exposure model in C57/B6 mice to investigate cardiac morphology and function through histological analysis and echocardiography. RNA sequencing and analysis were utilized to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the impact of a maternal Western diet and N-acetylcysteine treatment on cardiomyopathy. Additionally, ELISAs, transmission electron microscopy, and flow cytometry were employed to assess the antioxidant defense system and mitochondrial ROS levels in progenitor cardiomyocytes. RESULTS: N-acetylcysteine significantly mitigated cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, myocardial interstitial fibrosis, collagen type I accumulation, and left ventricular remodeling induced by a maternal Western diet, particularly in male offspring. Furthermore, N-acetylcysteine reversed the increase in apoptosis and the increase in the ß/α-MyHC ratio in the myocardium of offspring that results from a maternal Western diet. RNA sequencing and GSEA revealed that the beneficial effects of N-acetylcysteine were linked to its ability to modulate oxidative phosphorylation pathways. Additionally, N-acetylcysteine treatment during pregnancy can markedly elevate glutathione levels, augment glutathione peroxidase (GPx) activity, and mitigate the accumulation of mitochondrial ROS caused by a maternal Western diet. CONCLUSIONS: N-acetylcysteine mitigated cardiomyopathy induced by a maternal Western diet by bolstering glutathione synthesis and enhancing GPx activity, thereby scavenging mitochondrial ROS and modulating oxidative phosphorylation pathways.

Phycocyanin 620 (PC620) is the outermost light-harvesting complex in phycobilisome of cyanobacteria, engaged in light collection and energy transfer to the core antenna, allophycocyanin. Recently, long-lived exciton-vibrational coherences have been observed in allophycocyanin, accounting for the coherent energy transfer [Zhu et al., Nat. Commun. 15, 3171 (2024)]. PC620 has a nearly identical spatial location of three α84-ß84 phycocyanobilin pigment pairs to those in allophycocyanin, inferring an existence of possible coherent energy transfer pathways. However, whether PC620 undergoes coherent or incoherent energy transfer remains debated. Furthermore, accurate determination of energy transfer rates in PC620 is still necessary owing to the spectral overlap and broadening in conventional time-resolved spectroscopic measurements. In this work, the energy transfer process within PC620 was directly resolved by polarization-controlled two dimensional electronic spectroscopy (2DES) and global analysis. The results show that the energy transfer from α84 to the adjacent ß84 has a lifetime constant of 400 fs, from ß155 to ß84 of 6-8 ps, and from ß155 to α84 of 66 ps, fully conforming to the Förster resonance energy transfer mechanism. The circular dichroism spectrum also reveals that the α84-ß84 pigment pair does not form excitonic dimer, and the observed oscillatory signals are confirmed to be vibrational coherence, excluding the exciton-vibrational coupling. Nodal line slope analysis of 2DES further reveals that all the vibrational modes participate in the energy dissipation of the excited states. Our results consolidate that the ultrafast energy transfer process in PC620 is incoherent, where the twisted conformation of α84 is suggested as the main cause for preventing the formation of α84-ß84 excitonic dimer in contrast to allophycocyanin.

The preferable antigen delivery profile accompanied by sufficient adjuvants favors vaccine efficiency. Mitochondria, which feature prokaryotic characteristics and contain various damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs), are easily taken up by phagocytes and simultaneously activate innate immunity. In the current study, we established a mitochondria engineering platform for generating antigen-enriched mitochondria as cancer vaccine. Ovalbumin (OVA) and tyrosinase-related protein 2 (TRP2) were used as model antigens to synthesize fusion proteins with mitochondria-localized signal peptides. The lentiviral infection system was then employed to produce mitochondrial vaccines containing either OVA or TRP2. Engineered OVA- and TRP2-containing mitochondria (OVA-MITO and TRP2-MITO) were extracted and evaluated as potential cancer vaccines. Impressively, the engineered mitochondria vaccine demonstrated efficient antitumor effects when used as both prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines in murine tumor models. Mechanistically, OVA-MITO and TRP2-MITO potently recruited and activated dendritic cells (DCs) and induced a tumor-specific cell-mediated immunity. Moreover, DC activation by mitochondria vaccine critically involves TLR2 pathway and its lipid agonist, namely, cardiolipin derived from the mitochondrial membrane. The results demonstrated that engineered mitochondria are natively well-orchestrated carriers full of immune stimulants for antigen delivery, which could preferably target local dendritic cells and exert strong adaptive cellular immunity. This proof-of-concept study established a universal platform for vaccine construction with engineered mitochondria bearing alterable antigens for cancers as well as other diseases.

Light-to-electricity conversion is crucial for energy harvesting and photodetection, requiring efficient electron-hole pair separation to prevent recombination. Traditional junction-based mechanisms using built-in electric fields fail in nonbarrier regions. Homogeneous material harvesting under a photovoltaic effect is appealing but is only realized in noncentrosymmetric systems via a bulk photovoltaic effect. Here we report the realization of a photovoltaic effect by employing surface acoustic waves (SAWs) to generate zero-bias photocurrent in the conventional layered semiconductor MoSe2. SAWs induce periodic modulation to electronic bands and drag the photoexcited pairs toward the traveling direction. The photocurrent is extracted from a local barrier. The separation of generation and extraction processes suppresses recombination and yields a large nonlocal photoresponse. We distinguish the acousto-electric drag and electron-hole pair separation effect by fabricating devices of different configurations. The acousto-drag photovoltaic effect, enabled by piezoelectric integration, offers an efficient light-to-electricity conversion method, independent of semiconductor crystal symmetry.

AIMS: Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive system. High expression of the mitotic kinase BUB1 has been shown to be associated with the development of many cancers, but the role of BUB1 in GC is still unclear. The current study aimed to investigate the role of BUB1 in GC. MATERIALS AND METHODS: BUB1 inhibitor, siRNA or BUB1 overexpression plasmid-mediated functional studies were performed in vitro and in vivo to explore the oncogenic role of BUB1 in GC. The expression of BUB1 and FGF18 in GC tumor samples was determined by IHC staining. RNA-seq, Western blot, MeRIP-qPCR and Co-IP assays were used to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which BUB1 regulates GC progression. KEY FINDINGS: Knockdown of BUB1 significantly inhibited the proliferation and metastasis of GC cells in vitro and in vivo. Moreover, overexpression of BUB1 significantly promoted the proliferation, migration and invasion of GC cells. High expression of BUB1 and FGF18 in GC tissues predicted poor prognosis in GC patients. Mechanistically, BUB1 interacted with METTL3 and induced m6A modification of TRAF6 mRNA, further activating the NF-κB/FGF18 axis in GC cells. SIGNIFICANCE: Our results confirmed that BUB1 acts as a positive regulator of GC cell proliferation and metastasis by activating the TRAF6/NF-κB/FGF18 pathway through METTL3-mediated m6A methylation. Targeting the BUB1/METTL3/TRAF6/NF-κB/FGF18 axis might be a novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategy in GC.

Background: The relationship between obesity, sexual behavior, and prostate cancer (PCa) has been widely debated, contributing to a lack of understanding of its potential mechanisms and hindering the development of effective prevention measures. Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the causal effect of body mass index (BMI), age at first sexual intercourse (AFS), and bioavailable testosterone levels on PCa while also quantifying the potential roles of mediators. Method: We conducted a Mendelian randomization (MR) study using summary statistics from genome-wide associations of BMI (152,893 European males), AFS (182,791 European males), bioavailable testosterone (184,205 European males), and PCa (79,148 cases, 61,106 controls, European ancestry). Inverse-variance weighted method, weighted median method, MR-Egger regression, Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO), and outlier test were used for MR analyses. Reverse MR and mediation analysis were performed. Data analyses were conducted from December 2022 to July 2023. Results: The results showed that genetic liability to BMI was protective of PCa (OR, 0.82; 95% CI: 0.74-0.91; P = 3.29 × 10-4). Genetic liability to later AFS (OR, 1.28; 95% CI: 1.08-1.53; P = 5.64 × 10-3) and higher bioavailable testosterone levels (OR = 1.11, 95% CI: 1.01-1.24, P = 0.04) were associated with an increased risk of PCa. All of these potential causal effects could only be forwarded and were not affected by prostate specific antigen (PSA) screening. After controlling for bioavailable testosterone levels, the causal impact of BMI and AFS on PCa was no longer significant. The mediation analysis suggested that the causal influence of AFS/BMI on PCa relied on bioavailable testosterone levels. Conclusion: In conclusion, the difference between the univariable and multivariable MR results suggested that the causal influence of BMI and AFS on PCa relied on bioavailable testosterone levels. Further work is needed to identify other risk factors and to elucidate the specific mechanisms that underlie this causal pathway.

With the rapid development of science, technology, and the economy of human society, the emission problem of gas pollutants is becoming more and more serious, which brings great pressure to the global ecological environment. At the same time, the natural resources that can be exploited and utilized on Earth are also showing a trend of exhaustion. As an innovative and environmentally friendly material, functionalized ionic liquids (FILs) have shown great application potential in the capture, separation, and resource utilization of gaseous pollutants. In this paper, the synthesis and characterization methods of FILs are introduced, and the application of FILs in the treatment and recycling of gaseous pollutants is discussed. The future development of FILs in this field is also anticipated, which will provide new ideas and methods for the treatment and recycling of gaseous pollutants and promote the process of environmental protection and sustainable development.

AIMS: Developing energy-saving and ecofriendly strategies for treating harvested Microcystis biomass. METHODS AND RESULTS: Streptomyces amritsarensis HG-16 was first reported to effectively kill various morphotypes of natural Microcystis colonies at very high cell densities. Concurrently, HG-16 grown on lysed Microcystis maintained its antagonistic activity against plant pathogenic fungus Fusarium graminearum. It could completely inhibit spore germination and destroy mycelial structure of F. graminearum. Transcriptomic analysis revealed that HG-16 attacked F. graminearum in a comprehensive way: interfering with replication, transcription, and translation processes, inhibiting primary metabolisms, hindering energy production and simultaneously destroying stress-resistant systems of F. graminearum. CONCLUSIONS: The findings of this study provide a sustainable and economical option for resource reclamation from Microcystis biomass: utilizing Microcystis slurry to propagate HG-16, which can subsequently be employed as a biocontrol agent for managing F. graminearum.

Objective and rationale: The prevalence of depression among older adults residing in nursing homes has risen. While physical activity interventions based on the self-determination theory have been shown to reduce depressive symptoms among students and middle-aged adults, research in nursing home residents is scarce. This study aimed to investigate whether physical activity can alleviate depressive symptoms in nursing home residents over an extended period. Methods: Between September 2020 and August 2021, 46 nursing home residents in Shenyang were randomly assigned to either a control group (n = 23) or an intervention group (n = 23). The control group followed a standard physical activity programme, whereas the intervention group underwent a programme based on self-determination theory. Both groups were monitored for 24 weeks post-intervention. Depression scores were assessed using the Geriatric Depression Scale, sociodemographic data collected via a self-designed questionnaire, cognitive function evaluated using the Mini-Mental State Examination, and weight and body fat measured using the Omron KARADA Scan Body Composition and Scale. Results: Depression scores were measured at five time points: baseline (T0), weeks 12 (T1), and 24 (T2) of the intervention, and weeks 12 (T3) and 24 (T4) during follow-up. Both groups exhibited a trend of decline by more than five points. The intervention group demonstrated more favourable pre-to-post changes in depression scores compared to the control group. Conclusions: A physical activity intervention based on self-determination conceptual framework has been proven to be effective for nursing home residents with depressive symptoms, also aiding in the maintenance of their physical activity levels. This study offers a theoretical foundation for the development of intervention programmes by researchers and identifies potential intervention strategies for caregivers in nursing homes. BACKGROUND: Inetetamab is the first domestically developed innovative anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody in China, proven effective and safe in HER2-positive advanced breast cancer. However, its efficacy and safety in neoadjuvant treatment of HER2-positive locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) remain to be validated. METHODS: This prospective cohort study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of inetetamab combined with pertuzumab, taxanes, and carboplatin (TCbIP) in neoadjuvant therapy for HER2-positive LABC, comparing it to data from patients treated with the TCbHP regimen (trastuzumab combined with pertuzumab, taxanes, and carboplatin) using propensity score matching (PSM). The primary endpoint was total pathological complete response (tpCR). Adverse events (AEs), objective response rate (ORR), and near-pCR were key secondary endpoints. RESULTS: Forty-four patients with clinical stage IIA-IIIC HER2-positive LABC were prospectively enrolled and treated with the TCbIP regimen. The tpCR rate among 28 patients who completed surgery was 60.7%, comparable to and slightly higher than the TCbHP group in PSM (60.7% vs. 53.6%, P = 0.510). The ORR was 96.4%, and the DCR reached 100.0%. The most common ≥ grade 3 AE was neutropenia (21.4% vs. 11.9%, P = 0.350). No significant reduction in left ventricular ejection fraction was observed, and no patient withdrew from treatment due to AEs. CONCLUSION: Neoadjuvant therapy with TCbIP showed good efficacy and safety in patients with HER2-positive LABC and might be another promising option for neoadjuvant treatment. The sluggish redox reaction kinetics and "shuttle effect" of lithium polysulfides (LPSs) impede the advancement of high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries (LSBs). Transition metal phosphides exhibit distinctive polarity, metallic properties, and tunable electron configuration, thereby demonstrating enhanced adsorption and electrocatalytic capabilities towards LPSs. Consequently, they are regarded as exceptional sulfur hosts for LSBs. Moreover, the introduction of a heterogeneous structure can enhance reaction kinetics and expedite the transport of electrons/ions. In this study, a composite of hollow CoP-FeP cubes with heterostructure modified carbon nanotube (CoFeP-CNTs) was fabricated and utilized as sulfur host in advanced LSBs. The presence of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) facilitates enhanced electron and Li+ transport. Meanwhile, the active sites within the heterogeneous interface of CoP-FeP suppress the "shuttle effect" and enhance the conversion kinetics of LPSs. Therefore, the CoFeP-CNTs/S electrode exhibited exceptional cycling stability and demonstrated a capacity attenuation of merely 0.051 % per cycle over 600 cycles at 1C. This study presents a highly effective tactic for synthesizing dual-acting transition metal phosphides with heterostructure, which will play a pivotal role in advancing the development of efficient LSBs.

Cannabidiol (CBD), as one of the phytocannabinoids, has a wide range of therapeutic properties for various neuropsychiatric disorders due to central nervous system effects. These therapeutic properties demonstrated by preclinical and clinical studies encompass more than just anticonvulsant, anti-arthritic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, antiemetic, antipsychotic and neuroprotective effects. It has been hypothesized that CBD holds potential in the treatment of various neuropsychiatric and anxiety disorders. Thus, PRISMA was used as a guide for our systematic review. Eight of the 1550 articles screened in June 2023 were eligible for meta-analysis. Based on the 316 participants included in these eight articles, this meta-analysis revealed a substantial significant impact of CBD on anxiety with a considerable effect size (Hedges' g = -0.92, 95% CI -1.80 to -0.04). In addition, this meta-analysis focuses on the efficacy of CBD in treating anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, caution should be exercised in interpreting our findings due to the limited size of the clinical sample, and additional trials ought to be carried out if deemed necessary.

BACKGROUND: Previous studies have suggested the potential synergistic antitumor activity when combining immune checkpoint inhibitors with anti-angiogenic agents in various solid tumors. We aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of camrelizumab (a humanized programmed cell death-1 antibody) plus apatinib (a vascular endothelial growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor) for patients with advanced mucosal melanoma (MM), and explore-related biomarkers. METHODS: We conducted a single-center, open-label, single-arm, phase II study. Patients with unresectable or recurrent/metastatic MM received camrelizumab and apatinib. The primary endpoint was the confirmed objective response rate (ORR). RESULTS: Between April 2019 and June 2022, 32 patients were enrolled, with 50.0% previously received systemic therapy. Among 28 patients with evaluable response, the confirmed ORR was 42.9%, the disease control rate was 82.1%, and the median progression-free survival (PFS) was 8.05 months. The confirmed ORR was 42.9% (6/14) in both treatment-naïve and previously treated patients. Notably, treatment-naïve patients had a median PFS of 11.89 months, and those with prior treatment had a median PFS of 6.47 months. Grade 3 treatment-related adverse events were transaminase elevation, rash, hyperbilirubinemia, proteinuria, hypertension, thrombocytopenia, hand-foot syndrome and diarrhea. No treatment-related deaths were observed. Higher tumor mutation burden (TMB), increased T-cell receptor (TCR) diversity, and altered receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK)/RAS pathway correlated with better tumor response. CONCLUSION: Camrelizumab plus apatinib provided promising antitumor activity with acceptable toxicity in patients with advanced MM. TMB, TCR diversity and RTK/RAS pathway genes were identified as potential predictive biomarkers and warrant further validation. BACKGROUND: Disitamab vedotin (DV; RC48-ADC) is an antibody-drug conjugate comprising a human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-directed antibody, linker and monomethyl auristatin E. Preclinical studies have shown that DV demonstrated potent antitumor activity in preclinical models of breast, gastric, and ovarian cancers with different levels of HER2 expression. In this pooled analysis, we report the safety and efficacy of DV in patients with HER2-overexpression and HER2-low advanced breast cancer (ABC). METHODS: In the phase I dose-escalation study (C001 CANCER), HER2-overexpression ABC patients received DV at doses of 0.5-2.5 mg/kg once every two weeks (Q2W) until unacceptable toxicity or progressive disease. The dose range, safety, and pharmacokinetics (PK) were determined. The phase Ib dose-range and expansion study (C003 CANCER) enrolled two cohorts: HER2-overexpression ABC patients receiving DV at doses of 1.5-2.5 mg/kg Q2W, with the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) determined, and HER2-low ABC patients receiving DV at doses of 2.0 mg/kg Q2W to explore the efficacy and safety of DV in HER2-low ABC. RESULTS: Twenty-four patients with HER2-overexpression ABC in C001 CANCER, 46 patients with HER2-overexpression ABC and 66 patients with HER2-low ABC in C003 CANCER were enrolled. At 2.0 mg/kg RP2D Q2W, the confirmed objective response rates were 42.9% (9/21; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 21.8%-66.0%) and 33.3% (22/66; 95% CI: 22.2%-46.0%), with median progression-free survival (PFS) of 5.7 months (95% CI: 5.3-8.4 months) and 5.1 months (95% CI: 4.1-6.6 months) for HER2-overexpression and HER2-low ABC, respectively. Common (≥5%) grade 3 or higher treatment-emergent adverse events included neutrophil count decreased (17.6%), gamma-glutamyl transferase increased (13.2%), asthenia (11.0%), white blood cell count decreased (9.6%), peripheral neuropathy such as hypoesthesia (5.9%) and neurotoxicity (0.7%), and pain (5.9%). CONCLUSION: DV demonstrated promising efficacy in HER2-overexpression and HER2-low ABC, with a favorable safety profile at 2.0 mg/kg Q2W.

Organic photovoltaics (OPVs) need to overcome limitations such as insufficient thermal stability to be commercialized. The reported approaches to improve stability either rely on the development of new materials or on tailoring the donor/acceptor morphology, however, exhibiting limited applicability. Therefore, it is timely to develop an easy method to enhance thermal stability without having to develop new donor/acceptor materials or donor-acceptor compatibilizers, or by introducing another third component. Herein, a unique approach is presented, based on constructing a polymer fiber rigid network with a high glass transition temperature (Tg) to impede the movement of acceptor and donor molecules, to immobilize the active layer morphology, and thereby to improve thermal stability. A high-Tg one-dimensional aramid nanofiber (ANF) is utilized for network construction. Inverted OPVs with ANF network yield superior thermal stability compared to the ANF-free counterpart. The ANF network-incorporated active layer demonstrates significantly more stable morphology than the ANF-free counterpart, thereby leaving fundamental processes such as charge separation, transport, and collection, determining the device efficiency, largely unaltered. This strategy is also successfully applied to other photovoltaic systems. The strategy of incorporating a polymer fiber rigid network with high Tg offers a distinct perspective addressing the challenge of thermal instability with simplicity and universality.

Background: In 2023, China witnessed an earlier and more widespread outbreak of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP). To address this situation, an online training program was designed to enhance the knowledge of MPP among pediatricians in Shanghai, China. Methods: An online training program on the diagnosis and treatment of MPP, guided by Kern's six-step approach, was developed by the Shanghai Pediatric Clinical Quality Control Center. A pre- and post-training survey was conducted using a 20-item self-administered questionnaire to investigate the pediatricians' knowledge of MPP. A linkage mechanism was established to match pretest/posttest questionnaires using personal identifiers. Paired t-tests and McNemar tests were performed to measure the differences, as appropriate, between pre- and post-training groups. A higher survey score indicated better knowledge. Results: There were 289 participants performed pre- and post-tests. The average age of the respondents was 38.7 years (standard deviation: 8.9). Over 80% of the participants were primary (32.5%) and intermediate (47.8%) pediatricians. Those from specialized hospitals accounted for the highest proportion (41.5%). The post-training group achieved significantly higher total scores than the pre-training group (91.3 vs. 67.7, t=22.48, P<0.001), regardless of the professional titles or hospital levels (all P<0.001). The accuracy rates of each question increased significantly in the post-training group (all P<0.001). Conclusions: The online training program effectively enhanced pediatricians' understanding of diagnosing and treating MPP. It is recommended to maintain continuous education and training targeting all healthcare providers.
