RESUMO

In the pursuit of next-generation ultrahigh-energy-density Li-O2 batteries, it is imperative to develop an electrolyte with stability against the strong oxidation environments. N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMA) is a recognized solvent known for its robust resistance to the highly reactive reduced oxygen species, yet its application in Li-O2 batteries has been constrained due to its poor compatibility with the Li metal anode. In this study, a rationally selected hydrofluoroether diluent, methyl nonafluorobutyl ether (M3), has been introduced into the DMA-based electrolyte to construct a localized high concentration electrolyte. The stable -CH3 and C-F bonds within the M3 structure could not only augment the fundamental properties of the electrolyte but also fortify its resilience against attacks from O2- and 1O2. Additionally, the strong electron-withdrawing groups (-F) presented in the M3 diluent could facilitate coordination with the electron-donating groups (-CH3) in the DMA solvent. This intermolecular interaction promotes more alignment of Li+-anions with a small amount of M3 addition, leading to the construction of an anion-derived inorganic-rich SEI that enhances the stability of the Li anode. As a result, the Li-O2 batteries with the DMA/M3 electrolyte exhibit superior cycling performance at both 30 °C (359th) and -10 °C (120th).

The recent report of planar tetracoordinate hydrogen (ptH) in In4H+ is very intriguing in planar hypercoordinate chemistry. Our high-level CCSD(T) calculations revealed that the proposed D4h-symmetric ptH In4H+ is a first-order saddle point with an imaginary frequency in the out-of-plane mode of the hydrogen atom. In fact, at the CCSD(T)/aug-cc-pV5Z/aug-cc-pV5Z-PP level, the C4v isomer, with the H atom located 0.70 Å above the In4 plane, is 0.5 kcal/mol more stable than the D4h isomer. However, given the small perturbation from planarity and essentially barrierless C4v ↔ D4h ↔ C4v transition, the vibrationally averaged structure can still be considered as a planar. Extending our exploration to the InnTl4-nH+ (n = 0-3) systems, we found all these ptH structures, except for In2Tl2H+, to be the putative global minimum. The single σ-delocalized interaction between the central hydrogen atom and InnTl4-n ligand rings proves pivotal in establishing planarity and aromaticity and conferring substantial stability upon these rule-breaking ptH species.

Reyanning Mixture is one of the superior Chinese patent medicine varieties of "Qin medicine". Based on the idea of quality by design(QbD), the extraction process of the Reyanning Mixture was optimized. The caffeic acid, polydatin, resveratrol, and emodin were used as critical quality attributes(CQAs). The material-liquid ratio, extraction temperature, and extraction time were taken as critical process parameters(CPPs) by the Plackett-Burman test. The mathematical model was established by the star design-effect surface method, and the design space was constructed and verified. The optimal extraction process of the Reyanning Mixture was obtained as follows: material-liquid ratio of 11.84 g·mL~(-1), extraction temperature at 81 ℃, and two extractions. A partial least-square(PLS) quantitative model for CQAs was established by using near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS) combined with high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) under the optimal extraction process. The results showed that the correlation coefficients of the correction set(R_c) and validation set(R_p) of the quantitative models of four CQAs were more than 0.9. The root mean square error of the correction set(RMSEC) were 0.744, 6.71, 3.95, and 1.53 µg·mL~(-1), respectively, and the root mean square error of the validation set(RMSEP) were 0.709, 5.88, 2.92, and 1.59 µg·mL~(-1), respectively. Therefore, the optimized extraction process of the Reyanning Mixture is reasonable, feasible, stable, and reliable. The NIRS quantitative model has a good prediction, which can be used for the rapid content determination of CQAs during extraction. They can provide an experimental basis for the process research and quality control of Reyanning Mixture.

Lithium-air batteries (LABs) have aroused worldwide interest due to their high energy density as a promising next-generation battery technology. From a practical standpoint, one of the most pressing issues currently in LABs is their poor rate performance. Accelerating the mass transfer rate within LABs is a crucial aspect for enhancing their rate capability. In this Perspective, we have meticulously analyzed the ion and oxygen transport processes to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the mass transfer within LABs. Following this, we have discussed potential misconceptions in the existing literature and propose our recommendations for improving the rate performance of LABs. This Perspective provides a deep insight into the mass transfer process in LABs and offers promising strategies for developing other high-rate metal-O2 batteries.

Bacterial cellulose (BC) is a biopolymer synthesized by bacteria, which possess excellent characteristics such as high water holding capacity, high crystallinity, and high purity. It is widely used in food, medical, cosmetics, and functional films. Komagataeibacter xylinus is a model strain used in BC synthesis research. In bacteria, motility-related genes are associated with BC synthesis, whereas in Komagataeibacter xylinus CGMCC 2955, the functions of motility-related genes and their effects on BC synthesis are not known. To address this gap, we used the λ Red recombinant system to individually knock out motA, motB, and mot2A respectively, and constructed the knockout strains K. x-ΔmotA, K. x-ΔmotB, and K. x-Δmot2A. Additionally, both motA and motB were disrupted to construct the K. x-ΔmotAB mutant. The results demonstrated that knockout strain K. x-ΔmotAB exhibited the highest BC yield, reaching (5.05±0.26) g/L, which represented an increase of approximately 24% compared to wild-type strains. Furthermore, the BC synthesized by this strain exhibited the lowest porosity, 54.35%, and displayed superior mechanical properties with a Young's modulus of up to 5.21 GPa. As knocking out motA and motB genes in K. xylinus CGMCC 2955 did not reduce BC yield; instead, it promoted BC synthesis. Consequently, this research further deepened our understanding of the relationship between motility and BC synthesis in acetic acid bacteria. The knockouts of motA and motB genes resulted in reduced BC porosity and improved mechanical properties, provides a reference for BC synthesis and membrane structure regulation modification.

The quest for planar hypercoordinate atoms (phA) beyond six has predominantly focused on transition metals, with dodecacoordination being the highest reported thus far. Extending this bonding scenario to main-group elements, which typically lack d orbitals despite their larger atomic radius, has posed significant challenges. Intrigued by the potentiality of covalent bonding formation using the d orbitals of the heavier alkaline-earth metals (Ae = Ca, Sr, Ba), the so-called "honorary transition metals", we aim to push the boundaries of planar hypercoordination. By including rings formed by 12-15 atoms of boron-carbon and Ae centers, we propose a design scheme of 180 candidates with a phA. Further systematic screening, structural examination, and stability assessments identified 10 potential clusters with a planar hypercoordinate alkaline-earth metal (phAe) as the lowest-energy form. These unconventional structures embody planar dodeca-, trideca-, tetradeca-, and pentadecacoordinate atoms. Chemical bonding analyses reveal the important role of Ae d orbitals in facilitating covalent interactions between the central Ae atom and the surrounding boron-carbon rings, thereby establishing a new record for coordination numbers in the two-dimensional realm.

The one-year survival rate for patients experiencing a relapse of B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia (B-ALL) following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is approximately 30%. Patients experiencing a relapse after allogeneic HSCT frequently encounter difficulties in obtaining autologous CAR-T products. We conducted a study involving 14 patients who received donor-derived CAR-T therapy for relapsed B-ALL following HSCT between August 2019 and May 2023 in our center. The results revealed a CR/CRi rate of 78.6% (11/14), a GVHD rate of 21.4% (3/14), and a 1-year overall survival (OS) rate of 56%. Decreased bone marrow donor cell chimerism in 9 patients recovered after CAR-T therapy. The main causes of death were disease progression and infection. Further analysis showed that GVHD (HR 7.224, 95% CI 1.42-36.82, P = 0.017) and platelet recovery at 30 days (HR 6.807, 95% CI 1.61-28.83, P = 0.009) are significantly associated with OS after CAR-T therapy. Based on the findings, we conclude that donor-derived CAR-T cells are effective in treating relapsed B-ALL patients following HSCT. Additionally, GVHD and poor platelet recovery impact OS, but further verification with a larger sample size is needed.

BACKGROUND: Upon the release of the selection results of "Qin Medicine," numerous Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines have regained attention. Physochlainae Radix (Huashanshen), a herbal medicine named after Mount Hua, the prominent peak in the Qinling Mountains, has garnered particular interest. Despite this, the impact of Physochlainae Radix and Qin medicines as a whole remains significantly overshadowed by the renown of Mount Hua. METHODS: Search on Using "Physochlainae Radix" as the keyword; searches were conducted across China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data, WIP Database, PubMed, Web of Science, and the National Library of China databases. RESULTS: This study presents an overview of Physochlainae Radix by reviewing its history, chemical composition, preparation methods, planting and cultivation practices, concoctions, alkaloid detection, contraindications for use, resource recycling, and predicting quality markers. CONCLUSION: To facilitate the further application and development of Physochlainae Radix, this study also addresses the challenges in the development of Qin medicines and proposes potential solutions.

The surrounding hydrogen bond (H-bond) interaction around the active sites plays indispensable functions in enabling the organic electrode materials (OEMs) to fulfill their roles as ion reservoirs in aqueous zinc-organic batteries (ZOBs). Despite important, there are still no works could fully shed its real effects light on. Herein, quinone-based small molecules with a H-bond evolution model has been rationally selected to disclose the regulation and equilibration of H-bond interaction between OEMs, and OEM and the electrolyte. It has been found that only a suitable H-bond interaction could make the OEMs fully liberate their potential performance. Accordingly, the 2,5-diaminocyclohexa-2,5-diene-1,4-dione (DABQ) with elaborately designed H-bond structure exhibits a capacity of 193.3 mAh g-1 at a record-high mass loading of 66.2 mg cm-2 and 100 % capacity retention after 1500 cycles at 5 A g-1. In addition, the DABQ//Zn battery also possesses air-rechargeable ability by utilizing the chemistry redox of proton. Our results put forward a specific pathway to precise utilization of H-bond to liberate the performance of OEMs.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) stands as the most prevalent neurodegenerative condition worldwide, and its correlation with microglial function is notably significant. Dl-3-n-butylphthalide (NBP), derived from the seeds of Apium graveolens L. (Chinese celery), has demonstrated the capacity to diminish Aß levels in the brain tissue of Alzheimer's transgenic mice. Despite this, its connection to neuroinflammation and microglial phagocytosis, along with the specific molecular mechanism involved, remains undefined. In this study, NBP treatment exhibited a substantial improvement in learning deficits observed in AD transgenic mice (APP/PS1 transgenic mice). Furthermore, NBP treatment significantly mitigated the total cerebral Aß plaque deposition. This effect was attributed to the heightened presence of activated microglia surrounding Aß plaques and an increase in microglial phagocytosis of Aß plaques. Transcriptome sequencing analysis unveiled the potential involvement of the AGE (advanced glycation end products) -RAGE (receptor for AGE) signaling pathway in NBP's impact on APP/PS1 mice. Subsequent investigation disclosed a reduction in the secretion of AGEs, RAGE, and proinflammatory factors within the hippocampus and cortex of NBP-treated APP/PS1 mice. In summary, NBP alleviates cognitive impairment by augmenting the number of activated microglia around Aß plaques and ameliorating AGE-RAGE-mediated neuroinflammation. These findings underscore the related mechanism of the crucial neuroprotective roles of microglial phagocytosis and anti-inflammation in NBP treatment for AD, offering a potential therapeutic target for the disease.

Prussian blue analogs (PBAs) as insertion-type cathodes have attracted significant attention in various aqueous batteries to accommodate metal or non-metal ions while suffering from serious dissolution and consequent inferior lifespan. Herein, we reveal that the dissolution of PBAs primarily originates from the locally elevated pH of electrolytes that are caused by proton co-insertion during discharge. To address this issue, a water-locking electrolyte (WLE) has been strategically implemented, which interrupts the generation and Grotthuss diffusion of protons by breaking the well-connected hydrogen bonding network in aqueous electrolytes. As a result, the WLE enables the iron hexacyanoferrate to endure over 1000 cycles at a 1C rate and supports a high-voltage decoupled cell with an average voltage of 1.95 V. These findings provide insights for mitigating dissolution problems in electrode materials, thereby enhancing the viability and performance of aqueous batteries.

Altered branched chain amino acids (BCAAs), including leucine, isoleucine, and valine, are frequently observed in patients with advanced cancer. We evaluated the efficacy of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell-mediated cancer cell lysis potential in the immune microenvironment of BCAA supplementation and deletion. BCAA supplementation increased cancer cell killing percentage, while accelerating BCAA catabolism and decreasing BCAA transporter decreased cancer cell lysis efficacy. We thus designed BCKDK engineering CAR T cells for the reprogramming of BCAA metabolism in the tumor microenvironment based on the genotype and phenotype modification. BCKDK overexpression (OE) in CAR-T cells significantly improved cancer cell lysis, while BCKDK knockout (KO) resulted in inferior lysis potential. In an in vivo experiment, BCKDK-OE CAR-T cell treatment significantly prolonged the survival of mice bearing NALM6-GL cancer cells, with the differentiation of central memory cells and an increasing proportion of CAR-T cells in the peripheral circulation. BCKDK-KO CAR-T cell treatment resulted in shorter survival and a decreasing percentage of CAR-T cells in the peripheral circulation. In conclusion, BCKDK-engineered CAR-T cells exert a distinct phenotype for superior anticancer efficiency.

BACKGROUND: Although preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) or chemoradiation is the current standard of care for esophageal cancer in China, the impact of subsequent adjuvant therapy on patient prognosis remains unknown. This study aims to analyze the effect of adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT) on the survival rates of patients who have achieved a non-pathological complete response (non-pCR) after NACT and subsequent surgery. METHODS: We reviewed the data of 2193 patients with locally advanced thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) who underwent radical surgery between January 2006 and January 2016. Of these patients, 46 received NACT and ACT, while 109 received NACT only. Propensity score matching was used to compare 86 patients, with 43 patients in the NACT + ACT group and 43 patients in the NACT group. Univariate analysis was performed using the Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test, while Cox regression analysis was used for multivariate analysis. RESULTS: Multivariate analysis revealed that pathological lymph node status (positive vs negative) (P < .001) and treatment modalities (NACT + ACT vs NACT) (P = .005) were independent prognostic factors. There was a significant difference in long-term survival rates between the NACT + ACT and NACT groups, with 5-year survival rates of 55.8% vs 39.5%, respectively (χ2 = 4.270, P = .039). In patients with ypN+ status, the 5-year survival rate was 31.8% for those who received ACT after NACT and surgery, compared to 10.0% for those who did not receive additional ACT (χ2 = 6.101, P = .014). The corresponding percentages in patients with ypN- were 81.0% and 65.2%, respectively (χ2 = 1.993, P = .158). CONCLUSION: Adjuvant chemotherapy should be recommended for locally advanced ESCC patients with residual cancer after NACT and surgery, especially for patients with nodal metastases after NACT.

OBJECTIVE: This study aims to explore the correlation and clinical significance of homocysteine and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels with cognitive function in patients with bipolar disorder (BD) and borderline personality disorder (BPD). METHODS: Patients with BD admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were chosen retrospectively. BPD patients were categorized into comorbidity groups, while those without BPD were assigned to non-comorbidity groups, each consisting of 60 cases. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was utilized to assess serum levels of homocysteine (Hcy) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in both patient groups. Clinical symptoms were evaluated by the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD) and the Young Mania Rating Scale (YMRS). Cognitive function was evaluated and compared using the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS). Pearson correlation analysis was performed on the correlation between patients' serum Hcy and hs-CRP levels and HAMD, YMRS, and RBANS scores. RESULTS: In the comorbidity group, patients exhibited significantly elevated serum Hcy and hs-CRP levels compared to the non-comorbidity group (p < 0.05). Patients in the comorbidity group displayed higher HAMD and YMRS scores than those in the non-comorbidity group (p < 0.05). Additionally, attention, speech, visual span, immediate memory, and delayed memory in the comorbidity group were notably lower than in the non-comorbidity group (p < 0.05). The speech, visual span, and immediate memory of RBANS in bipolar depressive patients with comorbid BPD were lower than those in bipolar depressive patients without comorbid BPD (p < 0.05), the speech of RBANS in bipolar manic patients with comorbid BPD was lower than those in bipolar manic patients without comorbid BPD (p < 0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that the expression of Hcy and hs-CRP in the comorbid group was positively correlated with HAMD and YMRS scores, and negatively correlated with attention, speech, visual span, immediate memory, and delayed memory, and these differences were statistically significant (p < 0.05). CONCLUSION: High serum Hcy and hs-CRP expression levels may regulate inflammatory responses, aggravating cognitive impairment in patients with BD and BPD. Serum Hcy and hs-CRP expression levels are significantly related to cognitive dysfunction. They are expected to guide the prevention and treatment of BD comorbid BPD patients.

In recent years, a few asparaginyl endopeptidases (AEPs) from certain higher plants have been identified as efficient peptide ligases with wide applications in protein labeling and cyclic peptide synthesis. Recently, we developed a NanoLuc Binary Technology (NanoBiT)-based peptide ligase activity assay to identify more AEP-type peptide ligases. Herein, we screened 61 bamboo species from 16 genera using this assay and detected AEP-type peptide ligase activity in the crude extract of all tested bamboo leaves. From a popular bamboo species, Bambusa multiplex, we identified a full-length AEP-type peptide ligase candidate (BmAEP1) via transcriptomic sequencing. After its zymogen was overexpressed in Escherichia coli and self-activated in vitro, BmAEP1 displayed high peptide ligase activity, but with considerable hydrolytic activity. After site-directed mutagenesis of its ligase activity determinants, the mutant zymogen of [G238V]BmAEP1 was normally overexpressed in E. coli, but failed to activate itself. To resolve this problem, we developed a novel protease-assisted activation approach in which trypsin was used to cleave the mutant zymogen and was then conveniently removed via ion-exchange chromatography. After the noncovalently bound cap domain was dissociated from the catalytic core domain under acidic conditions, the recombinant [G238V]BmAEP1 displayed high peptide ligase activity with much lower hydrolytic activity and could efficiently catalyze inter-molecular protein ligation and intramolecular peptide cyclization. Thus, the engineered bamboo-derived peptide ligase represents a novel tool for protein labeling and cyclic peptide synthesis.

Background: Hypertension has emerged as a chronic disease prevalent worldwide that may cause severe cardiovascular complications, particularly in older patients. However, there is a paucity of studies that use risk factors and prediction models for cardiovascular complications associated with hypertension in older adults. Objectives: To identify the risk factors and develop prediction models for cardiovascular complications among older patients with hypertension. Methods: A convenience sample of 476 older patients with hypertension was recruited from a university-affiliated hospital in China. Demographic data, clinical physiological indicators, regulatory emotional self-efficacy, medication adherence, and lifestyle information were collected from participants. Binary logistic regression analysis was performed to screen for preliminary risk factors associated with cardiovascular complications. Two machine learning methods, Back-Propagation neural network, and random forest were applied to develop prediction models for cardiovascular complications among the study cohort. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, receiver operating characteristic curve, and area under the curve (AUC) values were used to assess the performance of the prediction models. Results: Binary logistic regression identified nine risk factors for cardiovascular complications among older patients with hypertension. The machine learning models displayed excellent performance in predicting cardiovascular complications, with the random forest model (AUC 0.954) outperforming the Back-Propagation neural network model (AUC 0.811), as confirmed by model comparison analysis. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the Back-Propagation neural network model compared to the random forest model were 74.2% vs. 86.5%, 75.2% vs. 94.3%, and 74.7% vs. 90.4%, respectively. Conclusion: The machine learning methods employed in this study demonstrated feasibility in predicting cardiovascular complications among older patients with hypertension, with the random forest model based on nine risk factors exhibiting excellent prediction performance. These models could be used to identify high-risk populations and suggest early interventions aimed at preventing cardiovascular complications in such cohorts.

This study assesses the feasibility, safety, and effectiveness of noninvasive stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) as an approach for pulmonary artery denervation in canine models. SBRT with CyberKnife resulted in reduced mean pulmonary artery pressure, pulmonary capillary wedge pressure, and pulmonary vascular resistance, and insignificantly increased cardiac output. In comparison to the control group, serum norepinephrine levels at 1 month and 6 months were significantly lower in the CyberKnife group. Computed tomography, pulmonary angiography, and histology analysis revealed that SBRT was associated with minimal collateral damage.

Pharmaceutical industry wastewater contains a large number of emerging pollutants such as antibiotics, antibiotic resistant bacteria (ARBs), and antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs). The present biological water treatment processes cannot effectively remove these pollutants. Eventually, they are discharged into various water bodies or penetrate into soil with the effluent, causing environmental pollution and affecting human health. Therefore, exploring the pollution characteristics of antibiotics, ARBs, and ARGs in pharmaceutical wastewater and knowing the methods to detect and control antibiotic resistance pollution in wastewater are crucial for reducing the contamination of antibiotics and ARGs and assessing the ecological risks of antibiotic resistance. Aiming at the problem of antibiotic resistance pollution in a pharmaceutical wastewater treatment plant (PWWTPs), the pollution status of antibiotics, ARBs, and ARGs in pharmaceutical wastewater was discussed. Different assessment methods of antibiotic resistance in pharmaceutical wastewater were summarized. Finally, the wastewater treatment technologies commonly used to remove antibiotics and ARGs in PWWTPs were summarized in order to provide a theoretical basis for the ecological risk assessment and scientific control of antibiotics and ARGs in the environment.

Organic electrode materials (OEMs) have gathered extensive attention for aqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs) due to their structural diversity and molecular designability. However, the reported research mainly focuses on the design of the planar configuration of OEMs and does not take into account the important influence of the spatial structure on the electrochemical properties, which seriously hamper the further performance liberation of OEMs. Herein, this work has designed a series of thioether-linked naphthoquinone-derived isomers with tunable spatial structures and applied them as the cathodes in AZIBs. The incomplete conjugated structure of the elaborately engineered isomers can guarantee the independence of the redox reaction of active groups, which contributes to the full utilization of active sites and high redox reversibility. In addition, the position isomerization of naphthoquinones on the benzene rings changes the zincophilic activity and redox kinetics of the isomers, signifying the importance of spatial structure on the electrochemical performance. As a result, the 2,2'-(1,4-phenylenedithio) bis(1,4-naphthoquinone) (p-PNQ) with the smallest steric hindrance and the most independent redox of active sites exhibits a high specific capacity (279 mAh g-1), an outstanding rate capability (167 mAh g-1 at 100 A g-1), and a long-term cycling lifetime (over 2800 h at 0.05 A g-1).

Enterocytozoon bieneusi is one of the most important zoonotic pathogens. In this study, we present a systematic review and meta-analysis of the prevalence of human E. bieneusi infection in endemic regions and analyze the various potential risk factors. A total of 75 studies were included. Among 31,644 individuals tested, 2,291 (6.59%) were E. bieneusi-positive. The highest prevalence of E. bieneusi in the male population was 5.50%. The prevalence of E. bieneusi in different age groups was varied, with 10.97% in teenagers. The prevalence of E. bieneusi in asymptomatic patients (6.49%) is significantly lower than that in HIV-infected patients (11.49%), and in patients with diarrheal symptoms (16.45%). Rural areas had a higher rate (7.58%) than urban ones. The prevalence of E. bieneusi in humans was the highest (6.42%) at altitudes <10 m. Moreover, the temperate zone marine climate (13.55%) had the highest prevalence. A total of 69 genotypes of E. bieneusi have been found in humans. This is the first global study regarding E. bieneusi prevalence in humans. Not only people with low immunity (such as the elderly, children, people with HIV, etc.), but also people in Europe in temperate marine climates should exercise caution to prevent infection with E. bieneusi during contact process with animals.


Title: Prévalence mondiale et facteurs de risque de l'infection à Enterocytozoon bieneusi chez l'homme : revue systématique et méta-analyse. Abstract: Enterocytozoon bieneusi est l'un des agents pathogènes zoonotiques les plus importants. Dans cette étude, nous présentons une revue systématique et une méta-analyse de la prévalence de l'infection humaine à E. bieneusi dans les régions endémiques et analysons les différents facteurs de risque potentiels. Au total, 75 études ont été incluses. Parmi 31 644 individus, 2 291 (6,59 %) étaient positifs à E. bieneusi. La prévalence la plus élevée d'E. bieneusi dans la population masculine était de 5,50 %.
