RESUMO

Scavenger Receptor Class B Type 1 (SR-B1), a receptor protein expressed on the cell membrane, plays a crucial role in the metabolism and transport of cholesterol and other lipids, contributing significantly to the homeostasis of lipid levels within the body. Bibliometric analysis involves the application of mathematical and statistical methods to quantitatively analyze different types of documents. It involves the analysis of structural and temporal trends in scholarly articles, coupled with the identification of subject emphasis and variations. Through a bibliometric analysis, this study examines the historical background, current research trends, and future directions in the exploration of SR-B1. By offering insights into the research status and development of SR-B1, this paper aims to assist researchers in identifying novel pathways and areas of investigation in this field of study. Following the screening process, it can be concluded that research on SR-B1 has consistently remained a topic of significant interest over the past 17 years. Interestingly, SR-B1 has recently garnered attention in areas beyond its traditional research focus, including the field of cancer. The primary objective of this review is to provide a concise and accessible overview of the development process of SR-B1 that can help readers who are not well-versed in SR-B1 research quickly grasp its key aspects. Furthermore, this review aims to offer insights and suggestions to researchers regarding potential future research directions and areas of emphasis relating to SR-B1.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of celecoxib combined with radiotherapy on apoptosis of CNE-2Z cell lines and the potential mechanisms. METHODS: Four groups were used, a control, celecoxib (25 micromol/L celecoxib), irradiation (8 Gy X ray) and celecoxib plus irradiation. The radiosensitising effect was detected by clone formation experiment. Flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptosis rate of cells. The expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax were assessed by immunocytochemistry. Western blot was used to examine the expression of Caspase-3. RESULTS: Celecoxib enhanced the radiosensitivity of CNE-2Z cells. In experimental group, the mean surviving fraction and the mean lethal dose of CNE-2Z cells were 0.50 and 2.36 respectively. Compared with the irradiated group, there was significant differences between the two groups (P < 0.01). Celecoxib combined with radiotherapy up-regulation the expression of Bax. The score of the expression of Bax in the control group and the experimental group were 1.221 +/- 0.116 and 2.758 +/- 0.256 respectively. Celecoxib combined with radiotherapy could inhibit the expression of the protein of Bcl-2. The score of the expression of Bcl-2 in the control group and the experimental group were 2.559 +/- 0.144 and 1.253 +/- 0.114 respectively, with significant differences (P < 0.01). Celecoxib combined with radiotherapy could increase the apoptosis rate of tumor cells with significant differences (F = 7.63, P < 0.01). Western blot showed that the expression of Caspase-3 was strengthened. CONCLUSION: Celecoxib combined with radiotherapy could induce apoptosis and enhance the radiosensitivity of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2Z cell lines.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the prospective effect of CAUP and applying midline partial glossectomy with UPPP in the treatment of OSAHS. METHOD: One hundred OSAHS patients were distributed into two groups averagely. The patients of the two groups had CAUP and midline partial glossectomy respectively. All patients were followed-up 6 months and 12 months after operation and carried out using PSG every time. RESULT: Therapeutic effect was evaluated by standard of Hangzhou (2002). In general, in 6 months, curative effect was excellent in 41 patients of the group of CAUP, good in 8 patients with effect, bed effect in 1 patients; in 12 months, it was excellent in 28 patients, good in 13 patients, bed in 9 patients. In 6 months, the curative effect the other group were excellent in 44 patients, good in 5 patients, bed in 1 patients; In 12 months, it was excellent in 43 patients , good in 6 patients, bed in 1 patients. In 6 month, the results showed that the effect of the two methods was similar (P > 0.05), but in 12 months the effect of group of CAUP was better than the other obviously (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: This operation could enlarge the narrow area of palatopharyngeal cavity effectively and decrease postoperative complications. It's a safe effective and acceptable surgical procedure.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To observe the action of Chinese herbal preparation (CHP) on the recovery of nasal sinus mucosa after endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS). METHODS: Seventy-eight patients (140 sinus) with chronic nasosinusitis and nasal polyps, who had undergone ESS, were divided into two groups. The 40 patients (70 sinuses) in the experiment group were treated with daily nasal flushing with diluted CHP while the 38 patients (70 sinuses) in the control group were untreated. Tissues of nasal mucosa were taken out from patients' posterior walls of maxillary sinus at different time points, i. e. 2 - 3 weeks, 8 - 11 weeks and 13 - 15 weeks after ESS were observed. RESULTS: Significant difference was shown between the two groups under endoscope at all the time points in occurrence (patient/sinus) of sticky mucus, swelling and thickened mucus, occlusion of sinus opening, bloody secretion in sinus, and adhesion, etc. (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). Light microscopic examination showed significant difference between the two groups in occurrence (patient/sinus) of squamous epithelial metaplasia and fiber tissues proliferation (P <0.05). And electron microscopic examination also showed significant difference between the two groups in occurrence (patient/sinus) of inflammatory cell infiltration, fibers decrease, disordered arrangement, microvilli and short cilia (P<0.01). CONCLUSION: Using CHP for postoperative nasal flushing after ESS is a safe and manageable approach with effects in promoting nasal mucosa recovery.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the change of nasal airway resistance (NAR) before and after operation with the treatment of Temperature-controlled radiofrequency (TCRF) for chronic nasal obstruction on nasal endoscope. METHOD: In 125 patients of chronic nasal obstruction, the inferior turbinate volume was reduced with the treatment of TCRF. With anterior rhinomanometry, the NAR before and after operation were measured and compared. RESULT: The NAR decreased obviously after surgery, which indicated a remarkable significance (P < 0.01) on pre-operation and post-operation. CONCLUSION: TCRF operation through nasal endoscope may have some advantages of affirmative effect with subtle wound. It is less painful and easier to recover, which is worth to be generally applied.
