RESUMO

The traffic flow prediction is the key to alleviate traffic congestion, yet very challenging due to the complex influence factors. Currently, the most of deep learning models are designed to dig out the intricate dependency in continuous standardized sequences, which are dependent to high requirements for data continuity and regularized distribution. However, the data discontinuity and irregular distribution are inevitable in the real-world practical application, then we need find a way to utilize the powerful effect of the multi-feature fusion rather than continuous relation in standardized sequences. To this end, we conduct the prediction based on the multiple traffic features reflecting the complex influence factors. Firstly, we propose the ATFEM, an adaptive traffic features extraction mechanism, which can select important influence factors to construct joint temporal features matrix and global spatial features matrix according to the traffic condition. In this way, the feature's representation ability can be improved. Secondly, we propose the MFSTN, a multi-feature spatial-temporal fusion network, which include the temporal transformer encoder and graph attention network to obtain the latent representation of spatial-temporal features. Especially, we design the scaled spatial-temporal fusion module, which can automatically learn optimal fusion weights, further adapt to inconsistent spatial-temporal dimensions. Finally, the multi-layer perceptron gets the mapping function between these comprehensive features and traffic flow. This method helps to improve the interpretability of the prediction. Experimental results show that the proposed model outperforms a variety of baselines, and it can accurately predict the traffic flow when the data missing rate is high.

Two-dimensional organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites (OIHPs) have excellent photoelectric properties, such as high charge mobility and a high optical absorption coefficient, which have attracted enormous attention in the field of optoelectronic devices and photochemistry. However, the stability of 2D OIHPs in solution is deficient. In particular, the lack of stability in polar solutions hinders their application in photochemistry. In this work, (iso-BA)2PbI4 was used as a model to explore the three possibilities of the stable existence of a 2D perovskite in aqueous solution. And two of these systems that stabilize the presence of (iso-BA)2PbI4 were further investigated through electrochemical testing. Moreover, (iso-BA)2PbI4 2D hybrid perovskites exhibited an outstanding degradation rate. The chiral perovskite (R/S-MBA)2PbI4 is able to degrade a 30 mg/L methyl orange solution completely within 5 min, making it one of the fastest catalysts for this particular organic reaction. Further, based on the electron spin resonance test, a degradation mechanism by the halide perovskite was proposed. Based on the great catalytic performance as well as good reusability and stability, (R/S-MBA)2PbI4 perovskites are expected to be a new generation of catalysts, making a great impact on the application of asymmetrically catalyzed photoreactions.

Background: The concurrence of anti-contactin 1 (CNTN1) antibody-associated chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) and membranous nephropathy (MN) has previously been reported in the literature. CIDP with autoantibodies against paranodal proteins are defined as autoimmune nodopathies (AN) in the latest research. In view of the unclear relationship between CIDP and MN, we performed a case study and literature review to investigate the clinical characteristics of anti-CNTN antibody-associated AN with MN. Methods: We detected antibodies against NF155, NF186, CNTN1, CNTN2, CASPR1 and PLA2R in blood samples of a patient with clinically manifested MN and concomitant peripheral neuropathy via double immunofluorescence staining and conducted a quantitative measurement of anti-PLA2R IgG antibodies via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Case reports of anti-CNTN1 antibody-associated AN, anti-CNTN1 antibody-associated AN with MN, and CIDP with MN were retrieved through a literature search for a comparative analysis of clinical characteristics. The cases were grouped according to the chronological order of CIDP and MN onset for the comparison of clinical characteristics. Results: A 57-year-old man with anti-PLA2R positive MN was admitted to the hospital due to limb numbness, weakness, and proprioceptive sensory disorder. He was diagnosed with anti-CNTN1 antibody-associated AN and recovered well after immunotherapy. Our literature search returned 22 cases of CIDP with MN that occurred before, after, or concurrently with CIDP. Good responses were achieved with early single-agent or combination immunotherapy, but eight out of the 22 patients with CIDP and concomitant MN ultimately developed different motor sequelae. Five patients had anti-CNTN1 antibody-associated AN with MN. Among these patients, males accounted for the majority of cases (male:female=4:1), the mean age at onset was late (60.2 ± 15.7 years, range 43-78 years), and 40% had acute to subacute onset. Clinical manifestations included sensory-motor neuropathy, sensory ataxia caused by proprioceptive impairment, and elevated cerebrospinal fluid protein levels. Conclusion: The age at onset of CIDP with MN was earlier than that of anti-CNTN1 antibody-associated AN. MN may occur before, after or concurrently with CIDP. The early detection and isotyping of anti-CNTN1 and anti-PLA2R antibodies and the monitoring of isotype switching may be essential for suspected CIDP patients.

Fe3O4-armored latexes were successfully synthesized by using modified Fe3O4 (IO) nanoparticles as stabilizers without a surfactant. The particle size, conversion, and particle number density of latex particles during the formation process were studied in detail. The surface charge density and the particle size evolutions of latexes were studied by dynamic light scattering. The use of scanning electron microscopy confirmed that IO nanoparticles were adsorbed on the polymer particle surface. Furthermore, the efficiency of iron oxide incorporation (IE) was evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis. The effect of pH, solid content, and zeta potential of IO nanoparticles on the results of polymerization was also discussed in detail. Attempts were made to explain the change of latex particle surface charge density by using Guy-Chapman-Stern's electric double layer theory. In addition, the effect of ionic strength of ammonium sulfate on particle number density of latex particles was described using P. John Feeney's equation. Finally, the mechanistic insights were discussed by studying polymerization kinetics.

CONTEXT: Weight loss remains one of the most important arms in obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Further studies are needed to identify the best treatment. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effects of exenatide (EXE) on reproductive and metabolic function in overweight/obese (OW/OB) PCOS. DESIGN: This is a 24-week open-label prospective, randomized, clinical study. PATIENTS AND MEASUREMENTS: This study randomized 176 OW/OB women diagnosed with PCOS to receive either EXE 10 µg BID (n = 88) or metformin (MET) 1000 mg BID (n = 88) for the first 12 weeks. Then all patients were treated with MET alone during the second 12 weeks. We observed metabolic parameters at 0 and 12 weeks, and then tracked the rate of pregnancy during the second 12 weeks. RESULTS: After the first 12 weeks of intervention, compared with MET, subjects who received EXE had significantly decreased weight (4.29 ± 1.29 kg vs 2.28 ± 0.55 kg, P < .001) and total fat% (4.67 ± 0.09% vs 1.11 ± 0.32%, P < .001), improved the homeostasis model of assessment for insulin resistance (1.30 ± 0.58 vs 0.59 ± 0.12, P < .001) and increased the menstrual frequency ratio (0.62 ± 0.12 vs 0.37 ± 0.01, P < .001). During the second 12 weeks, the rate of natural pregnancy of EXE-treated patients was significantly higher than MET-treated patients (43.60% vs 18.70%, P < .05). CONCLUSIONS: Short-term EXE therapy was linked to significant weight loss and central adiposity reduction, which may further explain the improvements in insulin resistance, inflammatory marker and menstrual cycle, which may contribute to increasing pregnancy rates in OW/OB women with PCOS.

RESUMO

The Palearctic Atemelia Herrich-Schäffer, 1853 is reviewed. Two species are treated, one of which is described as new: A. fusca Liu, sp. nov. The genus Atemelia is recorded in China for the first time, and it is also newly recorded from the Eastern Palearctic region. Larvae of A. fusca sp. nov. mine leaves of Ulmus pumila (Ulmaceae), sharing the same host plant genus with another leaf miner A. torquatella (Lienig & Zeller, 1846) from Europe, but they are distinctive from the Nearctic and the Neotropical Atemelia species in host plant families and life styles. Photographs of adults and genitalia of the Palearctic Atemelia are provided. Additional photographs of immature stages, leafmines, and host plant are provided for the new species. In addition, three DNA barcodes are provided for A. fusca sp. nov.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the concentrations of nesfatin-1 in maternal and cord serum, to evaluate the expression of nesfatin-1 in subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT) from pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and those with normal glucose tolerance (NGT). METHODS: We studied a total of 50 GDM and 50 NGT subjects. The clinical features, serum nesfatin-1, homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), lipid profiles were measured at the third trimester of pregnancy. The expression of nesfatin-1 in the SAT was determined by western blot. RESULTS: Compared with the NGT group, the GDM group showed greater levels of serum nesfatin-1, adipocyte fatty acid binding protein (AFABP), and leptin; a greater level of cord blood nesfatin-1; and a higher level of expression in SAT (p < 0.05 or p < 0.01). Fasting insulin (FI) (b = 0.317, p= 0.022) and body mass index (BMI) before delivery (b = 0.367, p=0.008) were independently associated with serum nesfatin-1. Nesfatin-1 was the independent risk factor for GDM. CONCLUSIONS: The GDM group had higher levels of maternal serum and cord blood nesfatin-1, and greater nesfatin-1 expression in SAT. Nesfatin-1 is closely related to obesity and IR in pregnancy.
