Objectives: Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) is the most common benign laryngeal tumor in children. It can cause serious psychological and mental burden on patients since RRP requires repeated surgical treatment. This study aims to delineate the global trends and identify hotspots related to RRP over the past two decades. Methods: We systematically gathered research findings on RRP from 2004 to 2023, utilizing the Web of Science as our data source. Subsequently, we performed a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the literature using Vosviewer, CiteSpace, and Bibliometrics online analysis platform. Results: A total of 839 publications were finally identified on RRP from 2004 to 2023. The United States has the largest number of publications (392), accounting for 46.7%. The Capital Medical University is the most productive organization (24), followed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (18). The most productive journal was the Laryngoscope, with 86 publicatios. Comparatively, Vaccine is the most cited journal (2297). Craig S. Derkay ranked highest among all authors in publication (16). Burst detection shows onset, adjuvant therapy, management, juvenile-onset RRP, systemic bevacizumab, avastin, human papillomavirus vaccine are recent keywords of great interest to researchers. Conclusion: Research on RRP has progressed significantly over the past two decades, especially in terms of therapeutic strategies. We strongly believe that this article will provide new research directions for other researchers and may contribute to future breakthroughs in the field.

OBJECTIVE: Whether ligation or reconstruction should be performed after radical resection of the tumor and carotid artery in patients with head and neck cancers invading the carotid artery (HNC-CA) has been controversial. This paper provides a review and meta-analysis of the efficacy of these 2 modalities. DATA SOURCES: PubMed, Cochrane, Web of Science, Scopus, and Ovid databases were searched through August 2023. REVIEW METHODS: Descriptive, graphical, tabular, and quantitative data were extracted. The statistical outcomes (risk difference, RD) were synthesized under a random-effects model. This study was conducted in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses reporting guidelines. RESULTS: A total of 22 papers and 337 patients met the inclusion criteria for the literature review. Statistical analysis showed that the RD of overall survival (OS) rate at 1-year was 32% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 21%-42%) for ligation and 70% (95% CI: 65%-76%) for reconstruction (P < .05). The RD for OS rate at 2-year was 16% (95% CI: 7%-26%) for ligation and 39% (95% CI: 30%-47%) for reconstruction (P < .05). The RD for disease-free survival rate at 1-year was 27% (95% CI: 17%-38%) for ligation and 60% (95% CI: 51%-70%) for reconstruction (P < .05). There were no statistically significant differences (P > .05) between the 2 surgical modalities in terms of locoregional recurrence rate, carotid blowout rate, surgery-related complications rate, neurological complications rate, and perioperative mortality rate. CONCLUSION: This review demonstrates the significant advantage of carotid artery reconstruction surgery in short-term patient survival, thus making it a recommended option for HNC-CA patients undergoing radical surgery.

We report a probable case of Aspergillus basicranial infection diagnosed by pathogenic serological examination presenting atypical initial manifestations, and highlight the importance of serological examination to avoid treatment delay and disease management. An 84-year-old diabetic patient presented with right peripheral nerve palsy, intolerable otalgia, hearing loss, dysphagia, hoarseness, and bucking. The patient was diagnosed a probable Aspergillus skull base osteomyelitis with cranial neuritis and meningitis of central nervous system. Galactomannan test was used in combination with 1-3-ß-D-glucan and magnetic resonance imaging to follow-up during the continuous treatment of voriconazole. To date, the patient has remained in clinical remission for over 39 months but the drug cannot be stopped safely.

Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) is a rare benign tumor caused mainly by the infection of the respiratory tract epithelial cells by the human papillomavirus (HPV) type 6/11. However, the specific mechanisms underlying the inhibition of the host's innate immune response by HPV remain unclear. For this purpose, we employed single-cell RNA sequencing to analyze the states of various immune cells in RRP samples post-HPV infection and utilized a cellular model of HPV infection to elucidate the mechanisms by which HPV evades the innate immune system in RRP. The results revealed distinct immune cell heterogeneity in RRP and demonstrated that HPV11 E7 can inhibit the phosphorylation of the stimulator of interferon genes protein, thereby circumventing the body's antiviral response. In vitro co-culture experiments demonstrated that stimulation of macrophages to produce interferon-beta induced the death of HPV-infected epithelial cells, also reducing HPV viral levels. In summary, our study preliminarily identifies the potential mechanisms by which HPV evades the host's antiviral immune response, as well as the latent antiviral functions exhibited by activated macrophages. This research serves as an initial exploration of antiviral immune evasion in RRP, laying a solid foundation for investigating immunotherapeutic approaches for the disease.IMPORTANCESurgical tumor reduction is the most common treatment for recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP). One of the characteristics of RRP is its persistent recurrence, and multiple surgeries are usually required to control the symptoms. Recently, some adjuvant therapies have shown effectiveness, but none of them can completely clear human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, and thus, a localized antiviral immune response is significant for disease control; after all, HPV infection is limited to the epithelium. Inhibition of interferon-beta (IFN-ß) secretion by HPV11 E7 viral proteins in epithelial cells by affecting stimulator of interferon genes phosphorylation may account for the persistence of low-risk HPV replication in the RRP. Moreover, suppression of the IFN-I pathway in RRP cell types might provide clues regarding the hyporeactive function of local immune cells. However, activation of macrophage groups to produce IFN-ß can still destroy HPV-infected cells.

BACKGROUND: Laryngeal leukoplakia (LL) is a white lesion with high potential of recurrence and malignant transformation. Currently, CO2 laser has become the primary surgical treatment for LL, and the recurrence and malignant transformation rates after treatment vary widely. OBJECTIVE: We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis dedicated to evaluating the rates of recurrence and malignant transformation of LL lesions treated with CO2 laser and exploring relevant risk factors for recurrence or malignant transformation. METHODS: Literature searches were conducted on ProQuest, PubMed, Web of Science, Ovid Medline, Embase, and Cochrane databases. Some articles identified through hand searching were included. RESULTS: A total of 14 articles and 1462 patients were included in this review. Pooled results showed that the overall recurrence rate was 15%, and the malignant transformation rate was 3%. Subgroup analysis showed that the dysplasia grade was not a significant risk factor for the recurrence and malignant transformation of LL (P > .05). CONCLUSIONS: The results of this systematic review and meta-analysis suggest that the CO2 laser is a safe and effective surgical instrument for the excision of LL, which yields low rates of recurrence and malignant transformation. The risk factors relevant to recurrence or malignant transformation remain unclear and require further investigation.

STUDY OBJECTIVES: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is frequently reported in children suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This study aimed to assess whether children with AR are more likely to experience persistent OSA after AT. METHODS: This study is a secondary analysis of a multi-center randomized clinical trial, the Childhood Adenotonsillectomy Trial. Children were categorized into the AR group or Non-AR group according to AR response. A subgroup analysis was conducted using a logistic regression model. RESULTS: A total of 372 children (177 boys [47.6%]; median [IQR] age, 6.0 [5.0-8.0] years) were analyzed. Approximately 25% (93/372) of children presented with AR. Baseline data indicated higher PSQ scores and OSA-18 scores in the AR group. Children with AR demonstrated lower OSA resolution rates after AT (aOR, 0.43; 95% CI, 0.19 to 0.96). However, there was no significant difference in OSA resolution between the AR and Non-AR groups who underwent watchful waiting (aOR, 0.98; 95% CI, 0.50 to 1.93). Also, the AR group was more likely to maintain a PSQ score greater than 0.33 after AT (OR, 2.16; 95% CI, 1.01 to 4.61). There was no significant association between AR and higher follow-up OSA-18 scores after AT and watchful waiting. CONCLUSIONS: In this secondary analysis, children with AR were more likely to experience persistent OSA, highlighting the importance of effective AR management even post-adenotonsillectomy. A purposefully designed, prospective randomized trial is needed to verify the association between AR and persistent OSA. TRIAL REGISTRATION: ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT00560859.

Objective:This paper focuses on the diversity of nasal microbiota in children with perennial allergic rhinitis and the differences in species composition, which may be used in the future as a biomarker for disease progression and treatment. Methods:A total of 65 subjects were enrolled, including 35 perennial AR patients(AR group) and a Control group(CG group) of 30 children without AR. Collect basic information and examination reports of nasal swabs. 16S-rDNA high-throughput sequencing technology was used to detect the microbial sequence in nasal swabs, and the composition and difference of microbial diversity in each group were analyzed by bioinformatics methods. Results:The Simpson and Shannon index of the alpha diversity in the AR group had a significantly increase compared to the CG group. Beta diversity was not different between the groups. Staphylococcus(Firmicutes) of the AR group were significantly higher than that of the CG group, but Moraxella is lower than that of the CG group. Conclusion:Nasal microbial diversity and species composition of children with allergic rhinitis differ from those of healthy children, and how the differential microorganisms interact with the host and participate in immune regulation and inflammatory response requires further study.

Smart windows are effective in reducing the energy consumption of air conditioning and lighting systems, while contributing to maintaining the comfort zone of temperature in the indoor environment. Currently used smart windows mainly rely on traditional single-phase thermochromic material in which only one abrupt optical change occurs during temperature changes, and their inherent characteristics may not be suited for a practical balance of energy saving and privacy protection. Here, we developed a novel bidirectional optically responsive smart window (BSW) with unique bidirectional optical response features by introducing sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS)/potassium tartrate (PTH) micelles into PNIPAM hydrogel to form a composite hydrogel, which was encapsulated in two glass panels. The upper critical solution temperature (UCST) and lowest critical solution temperature (LCST) of the material can be individually adjusted and are capable of matching the human comfort zone of temperature. In addition, the smart window exhibits remarkable transparency (92.5%), visible light transmission ratio (Tlum = 91.31%), and excellent solar modulation (ΔTsol,UCST = 76.34%, ΔTsol,LCST = 76.75%). Moreover, it possesses selectivity in transmitting light in the infrared band of solar radiation and can complete the "transparent-opaque" transition in a very narrow temperature range (<1 °C). When at comfortable temperatures, the highly transparent smart windows facilitate interior light and appreciation of the view. At low temperatures, SDS/PTH micelles aggregate to form large micelles, blocking the transmission of light and protecting customer privacy. At high temperatures, PNIPAM can undergo a "sol-gel" transition, thus blocking incident solar radiation. Taken together, these proposed materials with bidirectional optical response characteristics would be harnessed as a promising platform for building energy conservation, anti-counterfeiting, information encryption, and temperature monitoring.

The mechanism of allergic rhinitis (AR) remains unclear. Most researchers believe that AR is the result of a combination of environmental and genetic factors. Sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) is a treatment that can change the natural course of AR through immunomodulatory mechanism and maintain efficacy after the treatment. Nasal cavity is the main site where AR patients contact with external allergens, produce inflammatory reactions and nasal symptoms. Therefore, in this study, we investigate the nasal microbiome in AR patients, and the changes after SLIT. In this cross-sectional study, nasal swabs for microbiome analysis were collected from 3 groups: SLIT-naïve AR patients (AR group), AR patients undergoing SLIT treatment over 2 years (SLIT group) and a control group (CG). The characteristics of nasal microbiome of each groups were produced by 16s-rDNA sequencing technology. The Simpson index of AR group was significantly higher than that of CG and SLIT groups, but not different between SLIT group and CG group. The abundance of Bacteroidete and Firmicutes remarkably increased in the AR group, but Bacteroidete reduced to CG level after SLIT. AR patients have different nasal microbiome composition, but we do not know how it happened and whether the AR condition affected nasal microbiome composition or nasal microbiome affected AR.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) as a major cardiovascular disease is the leading global cause of mortality, Klotho/FGF23 axis involved in development of cardiovascular disease, while the function and underlying mechanism of Klotho/FGF23 axis in CAD is unclear. Blood samples from 67 CAD patients with coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery were collected, and the level of Klotho and FGF23 of those patients was measured by using an ELISA kit. Cardiomyocyte was isolated from 0 to 3 days Sprague Dawley (SD) rats. Expression of Klotho, FGF23 and the cardiomyocyte marker α-sarcomeric actin (α-SA), myosin heavy chain (MHC) and cardiac troponin I (cTnI) was assessed by immunofluorescence staining. Expression of Klotho and FGF23 mRNA was detected by qRT-PCR. Apoptosis and cell cycle were measured by flow cytometry. Cell viability was detected by using CCK-8. The protein expression of ERK/MAPK pathway related protein and cytokines production was measured by western blotting. The levels of Klotho in CAD patients increased after CABG surgery, while FGF23 decreased. Isolated cardiomyocyte morphology and structure were completed, and with stabilized beating within culture for 15 days, besides, α-SA, MHC, and cTnI proved positive. After transfected Lenti-Klotho and Lenti-FGF23 into isolated cardiomyocyte, fluorescence staining showed that the transfection was successful, and qRT-PCR results showed that the expression levels of Klotho and FGF23 mRNA significant increased compared with NEG (empty vector) group. Immunofluorescence staining results showed that compared with NEG group, there was a higher Klotho positive rate and lower FGF23 positive rate in Klotho overexpression (Klotho) group, while, there was a higher FGF23 positive rate and lower Klotho positive rate in FGF23 overexpression (FGF23) group. In addition, the expression of p-ERK1/2 and p-P38 increased in Klotho group but decreased in FGF23 group. Furthermore, overexpression of Klotho inhibited cardiomyocyte apoptosis, increased S phase fraction, promoted proliferation and elevated expression of transforming growth factor ß1 (TGF-ß1), nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB), angiotensin-II (AT-II), and activator protein-1 (AP-1), overexpression of FGF23 showed the opposite effect, however, ERK agonist (TPA) and inhibitor (U0126) reversed the effect caused by overexpression of Klotho and FGF23 separately. Klotho/FGF23 axis play a critical role in CAD progression through regulating ERK/MAPK pathway in Cardiomyocyte.

The prospect of ionic conductive hydrogels in multifunctional sensors has generated widespread scientific interest. The new generation of flexible materials should be combined with superior mechanical properties, high conductivity, transparency, sensitivity, good self-restoring fatigue properties, and other multifunctional characteristics, while the current materials are difficult to meet these requirements. Herein, we prepared poly(acrylamide-acrylic acid) (P(AM-AA))/gelatin/glycerol-Al3+ (PG1G2A) ionic conducting hydrogel by one-pot polymerization under UV light. The prepared PG1G2A ionic conductive hydrogel had high tensile strength (539.18 kPa), excellent tensile property (1412.96%), good fast self-recovery and fatigue resistance, high transparency (>80%), excellent moisturizing, and antifreezing/drying properties. In addition, the ionic conductive hydrogel-based strain sensor can respond to mechanical stimulation and generate accurate, stable, and recyclable electrical signals, with excellent sensitivity (GF 5.81). In addition, the PG1G2A hydrogel could be used as flexible wearable devices for monitoring multiple strain and subtle movements of different body parts at different temperatures. Interestingly, the PG1G2A hydrogel capacitive pen embedded in the mold can be used to write and draw on the screen of a phone or tablet. This new multifunctional ionic conducting hydrogel shows broad application prospects in E-skin, motion monitoring, and human-computer interaction in extreme environments.

Importance: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and tonsil hypertrophy may be associated with dysphagia. However, randomized clinical trials assessing dysphagia outcomes in children randomized to adenotonsillectomy (AT) vs watchful waiting with supportive care (WWSC) are lacking. Objective: To assess dysphagia outcomes in children with OSA and tonsil hypertrophy managed with AT or WWSC. Design, Setting, and Participants: This secondary analysis of a multicenter randomized clinical trial, the Childhood Adenotonsillectomy Trial (CHAT), was conducted at tertiary children's hospitals from October 2007 to June 2012. Children aged 5.0 to 9.9 years with OSA were randomized to AT or WWSC and underwent polysomnography at baseline and 7 months. Caregivers completed the OSA-18 questionnaire, which includes an item on difficulty in swallowing at baseline and 7 months. The current secondary analysis was conducted from December 1, 2022, to January 10, 2023. Interventions: AT vs WWSC. Main Outcomes and Measures: Prevalence of dysphagia, based on parental responses to the difficulty in swallowing item on the OSA-18 questionnaire, was redefined as a binary outcome at baseline and 7-month follow-up. Results: In total, 386 children were included (199 female [51.6%]; median [IQR] age, 6.0 [5.0-8.0] years). Of the total, 207 children were Black (53.6%). At baseline, the number of children with dysphagia was similar (4.0%; 95% CI, -4.9% to 12.9%) between the AT group (56 [29.8%]) and the WWSC group (51 [25.8%]). Following AT, a decrease was observed (21.3%; 95% CI, 13.5%-28.9%) in the prevalence of dysphagia among the children. In contrast, the prevalence of dysphagia did not change significantly (1.0%; 95% CI, -7.6% to 9.6%) in the WWSC group. Children in the AT group were more likely to experience a resolution of dysphagia than those in the WWSC group (adjusted odds ratio, 4.84; 95% CI, 1.91-12.25). Higher baseline AHI was associated with a lower resolution of dysphagia (AOR, 0.91; 95% CI, 0.83-0.98). Conclusions and Relevance: This secondary analysis of the CHAT randomized clinical trial suggested that children with dysphagia and OSA undergoing AT may experience dysphagia improvement. A prospective randomized trial that uses a validated dysphagia survey is needed to verify the effectiveness of AT in treating dysphagia. Squamous papillomas (SPs) of the head and neck are usually benign lesions associated with human papilloma virus (HPV) infection. However, the reported HPV detection rates vary widely, especially with respect to anatomical distribution. The etiology of SPs in the head and neck remains unclear; analyzing HPV genotypes of SPs based on anatomical sites could assist in clarifying the pathogenesis of SPs in the head and neck. Therefore, the aim of this study was to review the prevalence, subtypes, and anatomical distribution of HPV in head and neck SPs at a hospital in China; we also investigated whether p16, a marker of HPV infection in oropharyngeal carcinoma, could serve as a surrogate marker for HPV in head and neck SPs. The presence of HPV DNA of 23 types (5 low-risk HPV and 18 high-risk HPV types) was detected via real-time PCR. p16 immunohistochemistry was performed using SP sections. Age, sex, anatomical location, and HPV subtype were recorded for each case. In total, 105 SPs were identified, including 47 in the larynx, 42 in the pharynx, 6 in the external auditory canal (EAC), 5 in the oral cavity, and 5 in the nasal cavity. HPV was found in 57 (54.3%) cases, with the highest positivity rate in the larynx (46/47; 97.9%). Only 5/42 (11.9%) patients showed HPV positivity in the pharynx. HPV incidence was highly dependent on the anatomical site. SPs in the larynx and EAC were more likely to carry HPV than those in other anatomical sites. High-risk HPV infections were rarely associated with SPs in the head and neck region. The sensitivity and specificity of p16 immunohistochemistry for HPV infection were 88% and 96%, respectively. There may be an association between p16 and HPV infection in head and neck SPs, but further studies are needed to validate this assertion.

Background: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is children's most common sleep-related breathing disorder. It may develop a wide range of severe complications if not diagnosed promptly and treated effectively. However, Childhood OSA has not specifically been analyzed using a bibliometric approach. Methods: We respectively collected the research results of childhood OSA from 2013 to 2022 through Web of Science and PubMed. Vosviewer, CiteSpace, and bibliometric online analysis platforms were used for visualizing and analyzing the literature. The MeSH terms were bi-clustered using the Bibliographic Item co-occurrence Matrix Builder (BICOMB) and graph clustering toolkit (gCLUTO) to identify the hotspots. Results: 4022 publications were finally identified on childhood OSA from 2013 to 2022. The United States has the largest number of publications (1902), accounting for 47.29%. University of Cincinnati is the most productive organization (196), followed by the University of Pennsylvania (151). The most prolific journal was the International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, with 311 documents published. In comparison, Pediatrics is the most cited journal (6936). Gozal D ranked highest among all authors in publication (192). Burst detection shows continuous positive airway pressure, Robin sequence, and nocturnal oximetry are recent keywords of great interest to researchers. Five hotspots were identified by co-word biclustering. Conclusion: Research over the past ten years has been fruitful, establishing the foundation for childhood OSA. Clusters (0-4) of high-frequency Major Mesh topics have attracted extensive attention. Evaluation and treatment methods of childhood OSA remain major focuses. We believe this article will provide other researchers with new directions and may contribute to a future breakthrough in this field.

Recurrent infection of chronic wounds remains a major clinical challenge. Recently, the hydrogel antibacterial materials have attracted extensive attention for preventing infection in wound healing. In this study, a hybrid hydrogel made of polyvinyl alcohol - iodine (PAI), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), and carbamino quantum dot (CQDs) was prepared by the cross-linking of hydrogen bonds, named as polyvinyl alcohol­iodine/sodium carboxymethyl cellulose/carbon quantum dots (PAI/CMC/CQDs). The composite hydrogels exhibited the outstanding photothermal conversion efficiency with near infrared (NIR) light irradiation, and the high antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli). Meanwhile, the elevated temperature of the composite hydrogels up to ∼45 °C was able to stimulate the migration of epidermal cell to accelerate skin repair. Given that PAI and CQDs could respond to different pH values (5-8), the real-time would pH information was provided by the visible light and fluorescent light dual monitoring system by naked eye. Moreover, the visible-fluorescent images could be collected and transformed into RGB signals to quantify the would pH levels, avoiding secondary injuries caused by frequent dressing changes. PAI/CMC/CQDs was demonstrated the significant therapeutic effect on chronic wounds by eliminating bacterial infections and promoting skin repair under the smart RGB monitoring system.

Objective: Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) ranks as the sixth most prevalent cancer worldwide, significantly impacting patients' quality of life. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) have been employed in the treatment of recurrent/metastatic (R/M)-HNSCC patients. This meta-analysis aims to assess the efficacy and safety of durvalumab monotherapy compared to the combination of durvalumab and tremelimumab in R/M-HNSCC patients. Methods: Relevant studies were systematically searched in PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases. All articles comparing durvalumab monotherapy with the combination with durvalumab and tremelimumab in R/M-HNSCC treatment were included. Additionally, the references of identified studies were screened if necessary. Result: A total of 1298 patients from three studies comparing durvalumab with durvalumab and tremelimumab in treating R/M-HNSCC were include in this meta-analysis. Our findings revealed no significant difference in objective response rate (ORR) [odds ratio (OR): 1.15, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.85 to 1.56, P = 0.36] and disease control rate (DCR) (OR=1.08, 95%CI: 0.86 to 1.37, P = 0.51). Similar outcomes were observed in overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), and duration of response (DoR). Regarding safety, there was no significant difference in the incidence of treatment-related adverse events (trAEs) between the two groups (OR=1.26, 95%CI: 0.81 to 1.94, P = 0.30). However, patients treated with the combination therapy exhibited a higher incidence of grade 3-4 trAEs (OR=1.93, 95%CI: 1.36 to 2.73, P = 0.0002) and a greater likelihood of discontinuing treatment due to trAEs (OR=2.07, 95%CI: 1.12 to 3.85, P = 0.02). There was no significant difference in the occurrence of severe trAEs leading to death (OR=1.36, 95%CI: 0.47 to 3.96, P = 0.57). Conclusion: This meta-analysis suggests that R/M-HNSCC patients receiving the combination of durvalumab and tremelimumab may achieve comparable outcomes in terms of ORR, DCR, OS, PFS, and DoR, without significant differences. However, the combination therapy is associated with a higher incidence of grade 3-4 trAEs and an increased likelihood of treatment discontinuation due to trAEs. These findings highlight the need for cautious consideration of the combination of durvalumab and tremelimumab in R/M-HNSCC patients, which should be further evaluated in high-quality studies.

RESUMO

The patient repeatedly suffer from pain in the left side neck for 4 years and had 1-2 recurrence per year. We used neck ultrasound and neck CT examination to find an abnormal soft tissue lumps exist in the patient's left neck root to the trachea esophageal ditch. Diagnostic analysis combines embryogenesis and anatomy, and the diagnosis results are infection with the fourth branchial fissure. The lesion site was completely excisioned with full hemp surgery, the incision showed I type healing after surgery, and there was no recurrence after six months of follow-up.
