RESUMO
The effectiveness of a recovery complex optimization in conditions of the sanatorium-resort rehabilitation of patients with chronic pathology by provision of the dietotherapy ration balance on nutrients, the use of natural (of the plant raw material cryopowders in the form of teas and tableted forms) and the "Centrum" synthetic vitamin-mineral complexes, probiotics was substantiated and demonstrated.

By the example of nutrition of patients from sanatorium "Kristall" (the Black Sea coast) an evaluation of patients nutrition in sanatoria and health resorts is made. It is determined, that the standard patients diets (Table N 15, 5, 10) do not differ from the reference ones regarding their calorie content, main food components and energy value. Though insufficient content of vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids and linoleic/linolein acids imbalance is marked.

Experiments on 528 pregnant rats studied the specific features of uterine contractility in pre- (7.2%), postimplantation (5.69%), and intrauterine (1.14%) fetal deaths and in ablatio placentae (0.57%) which spontaneously occurred in this group of animals. By applying the multiparametric approach and the methods of the image recognition theory, the authors showed that despite its onset periods, fetal deaths resulted in reduced uterine contractility. It is concluded that the present study provides experimental evidence for the development of weak clinical uterine activity in fetal death in different periods of pregnancy. At the same time, myometrial responses to oxytocin decrease.

Indomethacin and substance BW-755C in experiments on isolated myometrium striae of pregnant white rats exert an inhibiting effect on the contractile uterus function due to inhibition of cyclooxygenase or lipoxygenase ways of the arachidonic acid transformation. Prostaglandin F2 alpha is sensitive to functioning of the cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase ways of the arachidonic acid transformation, while oxytocin--only lipoxygenase one. Conclusions rest on results from multiparametric analysis of the contractile uterus function suggested by authors and confirmed by the pattern recognition method--the Karunen-Loev orthogonal decomposition.

The effect of LTC4, a synthetic leukotriene, and of BW 755C, a blocker of its biosynthesis on the functioning of Ca-channels in the membrane of snail neurons and on the contractile activity of rat uterus muscles in late terms of pregnancy was studied by means of intracellular dialysis and spontaneous contractility recording techniques. It was found that the 10(-7) mol/l of LTC4 stimulated the contractile function of the rat uterus and activated effectively the Ca-conductance in the somatic membrane of the nervous cell. The action of BW 755C was similar to that of leukotriene on Ca-conductance; in addition BW 755C produced transient activation of contractions of the rat uterus followed by a complete suppression of smooth muscle contractions. Possible mechanisms of the effects described were discussed.

The results of a comparative evaluation of methodical approaches to the analysis of the electrical and contractile activity of the uterus in laboratory animals during in vitro, in situ and in vivo investigation of potential uterotropic pharmacological agents are presented. For the analysis of the results there is proposed the method of mathematical processing of hysterograms including 20 parameters and the program of the calculation of the latter for the "Electronika MK-54" microcalculator.

The in vitro experiments were carried out to study the electrical and mechanical activities of the myometrium of nonpregnant and pregnant female rabbits as well as the enzymic activity of the pentose cycle in this tissue as affected by changes in the concentration and a fixation degree of carbon dioxide. It is shown that an increase in the carbon dioxide concentration in the incubation medium decreases the enzymatic activity of nonoxidative unit of the pentose cycle, but has no effect on the carbon dioxide fixation, electrical and mechanical activity of the myometrium. The carbon dioxide fixation in the myometrium tissue during pregnancy is established to be intensified. A higher content of carbon dioxide in the medium weakens the womb with the tonic properties of prostaglandins being significantly deteriorated.
