RESUMO

Difficulties appearing in determining hair group were the reason for conducting this research for the purpose of finding additional possibilities to solve the mentioned problem. It was established that the preliminary cell coloring, related with determination of hair sex, does not influence a consequent detection of antigens. Methods or the fixation of material were selected. The most suitable reagents and their titers as well as different time periods of absorption for detecting antigens A and B are offered. All stages of examination are described in detail.

RESUMO

Data on the safety and effect of the vaccination of children with solid tumors are presented. As revealed in this study, the injection of adsorbed DT-m toxoid with reduced antigen content at the period of remission does not induce the relapse of the disease and leads to the production of specific antitoxic antibodies on the protective level. The study has shown that complex antitumor treatment does not essentially affect the formation of specific immune response, though prolonged changes in cell-mediated immunity can be observed.

RESUMO

The authors have revealed a gradual development of venous hypertension and deceleration of the rate of venous blood flow in the damaged extremities in chronic obliterative arterial diseases. Decompensation of arterial hemodynamics is accompanied by the development of pronounced venous congestion with reduced venous pressure and tension. This may cause the incompetence of the deep venous valves.

RESUMO

Materials regarding the main directions and forms of participation of sanitary and epidemiological station (SES) specialists in the process of overall dispensarization of population, supply of information, the evaluation of the performance of different subdivisions and SES specialists are provided. Along with the organization of control and supervision while conducting sanitary and hygienic and anti-epidemic measures at the territories within the jurisdiction of SES, the role and participation of sanitary and epidemiological institutions in the control of health status in view of harmful effect of environmental factors and prevention of diseases among population are demonstrated.

RESUMO

On the basis of rich experience and the elaborated techniques of study, the authors claim that ultrasonic doppler echography is a highly informative and safe method for the diagnosis of the postthrombotic syndrome of the lower limbs yielding all the necessary data on the condition of the superficial and deep veins. The introduction of this method into the wide practice of out-patient clinics will make it possible to recognize the disease in time and determine its stage and form as well as the indications for operative or nonoperative treatment. The use of highly sensitive apparatuses will allow phlebography, which is still a necessary diagnostic procedure, to be rejected as a more hazardous and costly method.

RESUMO

Experience with ultrasonic investigation of venous abnormalities in the legs has suggested that combined use of dopplerography, doppler scanning and echolocation techniques can adequately replace conventional radiopaque phlebography in most cases of varicose veins and post-thrombotic disease. This combination has high diagnostic value.

RESUMO

The main principle of the antithrombotic therapy in acute thrombosis of major veins is to eliminate the thrombotic state of the homeostasis system by means of a simultaneous correction of pathological changes in all the three main links of this system. The authors believe the joint application of anticoagulants, antiaggregants and fibrinolysis activators to be necessary for the elimination of the state mentioned. The doses should be chosen in order to normalize the parameters of hemocoagulation, fibrinolysis and aggregation of thrombocytes.

RESUMO

Trypsin immobilization on the mineral matrix--silochrome was studied. The effect of the matrix electrochemical nature on the process was examined. pH-optima for trypsin binding with different silochromes and pH-optimum of action of the immobilized enzyme on casein were determined. The effect on the trypsin-silochrome binding of different supplements--inhibitors (benzamidine), stabilizers (Ca2+) and substrates (casein, benzoyl argininamide hydrochloride) was demonstrated.
