RESUMO

In this work, we have proposed to implement a zero-index material (ZIM) to control the in-plane emission of planar random optical modes while maintaining the intrinsic disordered features. Light propagating through a medium with near-zero effective refractive index accumulates little phase change and is guided to the direction determined by the conservation law of momentum. By enclosing a disordered structure with a ZIM based on all-dielectric photonic crystal (PhC), broadband emission directionality improvement can be obtained. We find the maximum output directionality enhancement factor reaches 30, around 6-fold increase compared to that of the random mode without ZIM. The minimum divergence angle is ∼6° for single random optical mode and can be further reduced to ∼3.5° for incoherent multimode superposition in the far field. Despite the significant directionality enhancement, the random properties are well preserved, and the Q factors are even slightly improved. The method is robust and can be effectively applied to the disordered medium with different structural parameters, e.g., the filling fraction of scatterers, and different disordered structure designs with extended or strongly localized modes. The output direction of random optical modes can also be altered by further tailoring the boundary of ZIM. This work provides a novel and universal method to manipulate the in-plane emission direction as well as the directionality of disordered medium like random lasers, which might enable its on-chip integration with other functional devices.

RESUMO

Background: Evidence has shown that dry needling (DN) is effective for myofascial pain syndrome (MPS). However, bibliometrics has rarely been used to analyze the literature related to DN for MPS. The purpose of this study is to provide a systematic overview of global frontiers and research hotspots of DN in the treatment of MPS from 2000 to 2022. Methods: A search was conducted on Web of Science Core Collection (WoS CC) for literature on DN for MPS from 2000 to 2022. Based on the basic information provided by WoS CC, CiteSpace software was used to conduct bibliometric analysis of the countries, institutions, categories, journals, authors, references and keywords involved in this topic. Results: A total of 458 papers were obtained, with the number of publications increasing over time. Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies (31) was the most productive journal based on the number of publications, while Arch Phys Med Rehab (329) was the most co-cited journal. The most productive countries and institutions were USA (112) and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (39), respectively. Fernandez-de-las-penas, Cesar has the highest number of publications (24) and Simons DG, who was an author with the highest number of citations (250). The article published by Gattie et al (co-citations: 65), and Mejuto-Vazquez et al (centrality: 0.36) were the most representative and symbolic. Based on the co-cited literature and keywords, myofascial trigger point, research methods, and acupuncture were the hot research topics and trends in the field. Conclusion: The current status and trends in clinical research of DN for MPS are revealed according to the results of this bibliometric study, which may facilitate researchers to identify hot topics and new directions for future research.

RESUMO

Since the chicken infectious anemia virus (CIAV) was discovered in 1979, which has been reported as an economically significant and immunosuppressive poultry disease in the world. A novel clinical detection method for the prevention and control of CIAV in the poultry sector is urgently needed. Here, we established a real-time recombinase-aided amplification assay (RAA) for CIAV on-site with a rapid, highly sensitive, strongly specific, low-cost, and simple operational molecular diagnosis detection method. The primers and probe were developed using the CIAV VP2 gene sequence, which has a 117-bp specific band. This assay, which could be carried out at 41°C and completed in 30 min without cross-reactivity with other viruses, had the lowest detection limit of 10 copies of CIAV DNA molecules per reaction. Furthermore, the kappa value of this assay was 0.947, the sensitivity was 93.33%, and the specificity was 100% when compared to the real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay (real-time qPCR). These results indicate that using a real-time RAA assay to detect CIAV on-site could be beneficial. In the future, the real-time RAA test may be a regular assay for the prevention and control of CIAV, as well as help the reduction of economic losses in the poultry business.
