RESUMO

Pneumonia is a serious disease that can be fatal, particularly among children and the elderly. The accuracy of pneumonia diagnosis can be improved by combining artificial-intelligence technology with X-ray imaging. This study proposes X-ODFCANet, which addresses the issues of low accuracy and excessive parameters in existing deep-learning-based pneumonia-classification methods. This network incorporates a feature coordination attention module and an omni-dimensional dynamic convolution (ODConv) module, leveraging the residual module for feature extraction from X-ray images. The feature coordination attention module utilizes two one-dimensional feature encoding processes to aggregate feature information from different spatial directions. Additionally, the ODConv module extracts and fuses feature information in four dimensions: the spatial dimension of the convolution kernel, input and output channel quantities, and convolution kernel quantity. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively improve the accuracy of pneumonia classification, which is 3.77% higher than that of ResNet18. The model parameters are 4.45M, which was reduced by approximately 2.5 times. The code is available at https://github.com/limuni/X-ODFCANET .

Background: Improving job performance has a significant effect on the quality of medical services and ensuring people's health. Purpose: This study explores the influence and mechanism of the character strengths and career callings of medical staff as well as the intermediary role of such career calling. Methodology: A cross-sectional survey was conducted of 414 healthcare staff members in public hospitals in Hangzhou. Descriptive statistics and hierarchical linear regressions were used to analyze the medical staff's job performance and related factors, and structural equation modeling path analysis was used to explore and validate the influence and mechanism of character advantage and career calling on job performance. Results: The results show that medical staff character strengths have a positive impact on job performance. Path analysis shows that character strengths indirectly affect job performance, and career calling plays a partial mediating role in character strengths and job performance. Conclusion: The results show that good personalities promote job performance, and the association is more significant under a high sense of career calling.

In order to improve the irradiation uniformity on the target plane and reduce the parametric backscattering in indirect-drive inertial confinement fusion facilities, a rapid polarization rotation smoothing scheme is proposed. In this scheme, there is a central wavelength shift between adjacent beams in a laser quad. Two of these beams are transformed into left-rotating circularly polarized beams by using polarization control plates, and the other two are transformed into right-rotating circularly polarized beams. Moreover, conjugate spiral phase plates are adopted to transform the beams into conjugate Laguerre-Gaussian beams. As a result of the frequency beat among the beams with counter-rotating polarization and conjugate spiral phases, both the intensity distribution and polarization of the focal spot would rotate rapidly on the picosecond timescale. The physical model of the rapid polarization rotation smoothing scheme is built up, and the smoothing performance affected by the parameters of spiral phase plates, polarization control errors, wavelength shift, and wavefront distortions is analyzed in detail. The results indicate that the rapid polarization rotation smoothing scheme has a relatively wide tolerance to the polarization errors and the spiral phase plates, and can improve the smoothing performance effectively with the combination of the smoothing by spectral dispersion scheme.
