RESUMO

The experiment reveals the stimulating effect of pancreatic rabbits' serum on the reparative regeneration of pancreatic islets' B-cells of rabbits with alloxan diabetes. Serum, got 12 hours after mechanical pancreatic gland trauma proves to be most effective. The maximum rise of mitotic activity is in 24 hours after 3 daily injections of serum. In the experiment with the decrease of the level of proliferation of B-cells compensation of insulinary function by acinoinsulary transformation prevails.

RESUMO

The experiment has shown that the serum of rabbits with acute pancreatitis produces proliferative effect on pancreatic islets' B-cells in rats with the acute form of experimental diabetes. The stimulation of miotic activity of B-cells, processes of acino-insular transformation, compensation of the insular function in rats with alloxan diabetes proved to be lower than in rabbits under the same experimental conditions. This testities to relative species specificity of factors in the serum of rabbits with pancreatic gland trauma.

RESUMO

The authors have synthesized a new dye which by its histochemical properties is analogous to the imported aldehyde-fuchsin but much cheaper. The production of this dye under the trade name "Fenaf" is organized at Shostka's factory of chemicals. The dye reveals neurosecretion, thyrothrophocytes of the adenohypophysis, tissue mast cells and other structures that are stained with aldehyde-fuchsin.

RESUMO

In the present study the morphogenesis and differentiation processes in embryonic pancreatic gland implants into Wistar line rat anterior eye chamber have been investigated. The conditions therein were found to be favourable for the endocrine tissue functioning; a number of morphogenetic changes resulting in the formation of islet structure acting as a morphophysiological unit were noted as well. Endocrine cells possess some selective properties as compared to the exocrine tissue. Alloxan diabetic animals demonstrated the most optimum conditions for the endocrine cells development and functioning.

RESUMO

The possibility of pancreatic-islet embryonic implantation into the frontal chamber of the eye in Wistar rats has been demonstrated. The implantation was followed by the induction of alloxan diabetes. Clinical diabetic compensation has been shown in a number of experimental animals (maximum time of experiments--45 days). The formation of islet-like structures in the frontal chamber of the eye was confirmed microscopically. The structures contained B cells in their cytoplasm. Cellular differentiation leading to the appearance of functionally active endocrine cells has been noted in the implants.

RESUMO

The authors suggest to use iron hematoxylin according to Haidenhain's prescription, with the subsequent passage of stained and differentiated histological sections through the ammonia solution for detection of A-cells in the pancreatic islets. The A-cells cytoplasm stained dark blue intensively; as to the nuclear structures--they acquired bluish-black tints. The method can be used for the study of morphology, topography and the number of A-cells in the islets.

RESUMO

Roug's fixative fluid is suggested to fix the pancreas with subsequent staining of the islet A- and B-cells. Rouget's fluid differs from Bouin's fluid in that picric acid is substituted for distilled water, and thus, it is unnecesary to extract the acid from the preparation. The fixation ensures good quality in demonstration specific granulation and preserves it in B-cells. Gormori's modification of the method to stain the slices with aldehyd-fuchsin and subsequent staining with alum carmine and orange G reveals both B- and A-cells. The manipulations presented perfect the quality of histochemical reactions.
