BACKGROUND: Women confront a slew of issues following self-immolation, and it is crucial to examine how women react after self-immolation and live with their scars. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of exploring the coping strategies of Kurdish women following self-immolation using a qualitative methodology. METHODS: The conventional content analysis approach was used in this qualitative investigation. Semi-structured face-to-face and phone interviews were conducted with 26 Kurdish women who had self-immolated and were chosen using purposeful sampling and snowballing for this study. To reinforce the research, Guba and Lincoln's trustworthiness criteria were fulfilled. RESULTS: The data analysis yielded 2 categories, 11 subcategories, and 85 initial codes. Positive coping is one of the categories and subcategories (spirituality, rebuilding their body, psychological rehabilitation, hiding the scars, restoring self-confidence, changing the lifestyle, forming a new life) 2- Negative coping (separation from society, neglecting the body and mind, violence and aggression, staying in the past). CONCLUSION: Using the capacity of religious organizations to help victims of self-immolation, providing appropriate conditions and facilities to heal the scars caused by self-immolation, and facilitating access to counseling services can provide the conditions for women to better adapt after self-immolation.

Workplace stress affects the employee's mental health and customers can run their occupational safety and health care centers in damage. The employees who are sent to the work place have different characters and different events happen in their living event. The present research proposed to study the relation among character attributes and mental health among the staff in Medical Sciences Kermanshah University, the study being performed for the year 2015. In a cross-correlation, 270 employees working in Medical Sciences Kermanshah University in 2015 were randomly selected and neo personality traits and mental health question sheet were augmented with Goldenberg. Data in SPSS 21 are explained with utilizing detailed statistics, correlation coefficient of Pearson and Regression testing. Based on the analysis of solidarity, of conscientiousness (R =0/ 332, p <0/ 001), OCD (R =0/ 221, p <0/ 001) and extraversion (p <0/ 001, R= 115/ 0, the employee's mental health showed a meaningful positive relationship (p <0/ 001). The outcomes of the regression study explained that, among the 5 parameters of character attributes, conscientiousness and psychoneurosis have two variables 14.08 percentage change criterion variables (mental health) to remarkably prophesy staff (p <0/ 001). It seemed to support an increased employment rate and provide psychiatric and psychological counseling for employees with improved facilities and, their income could improve their general health and thus improve the capability of the state of health services provided.

Staff Engagement is an individual's interest and enthusiasm to accomplish the specified duties, all together with his sustained profession with organizations. Accordingly, the current research aimed to delve into the relationship between the characteristical traits and Staff Engag ement among nurses employed in Kermanshah-based hospitals in 2015. In this descriptive-correlational study, 322 nurses of public hospitals in Kermanshah were picked in 2015. For information gathering, Schaufeli & Bakker's Utrecht Staff Engagement scale and NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI) were used. Information was examined through descriptive analytics (Frequency, Rate, Average, and Standard Deviation) and inferential analytics (Pearson Correlation Test and Multiple Regression Analysis). Also, the 21st version of SPSS software was applied for information investigation. The results demonstrated that the greatest and smallest means of characteristical traits among nurses related to acceptance to experience (3.75 ± 0.63) and neuroticism (2.82 ± 0.55). Also, the highest and lowest means of Staff Engagement related to absorption (5.41 ± 0.76) and vigor (5.04 ± 0.86). Moreover, the outcomes of the Pearson correlation examination showed that there were important connections between the two dimensions of personality traits, i.e. neuroticism (P<0.001, r=0.172) and extraversion (P<0.001, r=0.038), and job engagement. Moreover, neuroticism had the most meaningful relationship with Staff Engagement (P<0.001, r=0.172). On the other hand, the outcomes of multiple regression analysis revealed that dutifulness and agreeableness were good predictors for job engagement. Given that the two scopes of personality traits, i.e. dutifulness and agreeableness, were closely related to work engagement, it was suggested that these dimensions were given a careful consideration in the event of employing workforce, especially nurses, with the aim of boosting the organizational productivity.
