RESUMO
Objetivo:
Investigar o perfil das cirurgias plásticasrealizadas no município de Tubarão ? SC.Métodos:
Foirealizado um estudo epidemiológico com delineamentotransversal. A população em estudo foi constituída por30 pacientes no pós-operatório de cirurgia plásticas,de pequeno a médio porte, realizadas no Hospital Socimede no Hospital Nossa Senhora da Conceição (HNSC).A coleta de dados foi realizada, utilizando questionárioautoaplicável e dados extraídos do prontuário dospacientes, no período entre fevereiro a maio de 2009.Resultados:
Todos os pacientes eram do sexo femininocom idade média de 32,4 anos (DP=10,0), variando de19 a 55 anos. Os pacientes, na maioria das vezes, sesubmeteram a apenas 1 cirurgia plástica (66.7%), e amais realizada foi a inclusão de prótese de silicone(40,0%). A graduação da escala de dor, através da escalavisual de dor, apontada pelas pacientes foi consideradamoderada (3,5±2,3). O principal tipo de anestesiarealizado nas pacientes deste estudo foi a peridural(46,7%).Conclusão:
A maior parte dos pacientes buscacirurgias reparadoras por estética onde a maioria sesubmete a lipoaspiração ou inclusão de prótese de silicone.A escala de dor mostrou que as pacientes tinhamdor pós-operatória relativamente moderada à baixa.ABSTRACT
Objective:
To investigate the pattern of plastic surgeriesperformed in Tubarão-SC.Methods:
We conducteda descriptive epidemiological study, cross-sectional.The study population consisted of 30 patientsafter plastic surgery, from small to medium, carried outin Hospital Socimed and Hospital Nossa Senhora daConceição (HNSC). Data collection was performed usingself-reported questionnaire and with data from therecords of patients in the period between February toMay 2009.Results:
All patients were female with meanage of 32.4±10.0 years. Patients, most of the time, only1 carry plastic surgery (66.7%), and was held over theplacement of a silicone prosthesis (34.88%). A graduateof the pain scale claimed by the patients was mostlymoderate (3.5±2.3). The main types of anesthesiaperformed in patients in this study were the epidural(46.7%).Conclusion:
We conclude that with this study,most patients seeking reconstructive surgery foraesthetic where the majority to submit to liposuctionor placement of a silicone prosthesis. The scale of painshowed that the patients had a postoperative pain formoderate to low.
