RESUMEN
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A qualitative approach was employed to track perspectives from a range of patients with chronic lung and/or heart diseases. COPD, IPF and MI outpatients from Denmark and Finland were invited to participate. Data were collected through focus group and semi-structured in-depth interviews. Qualitative analysis was performed using standard thematic analytical approaches. A topic guide was used to explore experiences and perceptions of the ARG telerehabilitation device among participants. RESULTS: Thirteen patients (4 MI, 2 IPF and 7 COPD), 3 women and 10 men aged 56 to 75 years (mean age 63.3 years) were allocated into one focus group (9 patients) and 4 interviews (4 patients). Twelve patients reported the added value of ARG and suggested constructive changes such as the adjustable screen/brightness, robust head fixation for exercise performance, easy to navigate interface and supported feedback based on exercise performance. CONCLUSION: Patients with chronic heart or lung diseases described the added value in an ARG telerehabilitation programme. Improvements for a future version of the ARG were suggested.IMPLICATIONS FOR REHABILITATIONPatients with chronic pulmonary and heart diseases have difficulties to change behaviour to a more active and healthy lifestyle, offers from the health sector to participate in rehabilitation programmes at the hospital are feasible and improves quality of life and exercise capacity. Not all the patients are capable of participating in such rehabilitation programmes due to frailty and long distance to the hospital. Telerehabilitation seems to be a potential treatment to cope with the needs expressed above.Patient involvement in the development of a telerehabilitation solution to empower chronic pulmonary and heart patients to train, ensures a positive contribution to the design of the expected augmented reality software and hardware envisioned solution for telerehabilitation. The development of a user-centered telerehabilitation platform responding to the preferences of patients with chronic disease will remove barriers that limit use and compliance and improve empowerment in future research projects.

Physiotherapists are facing complex health challenges in the treatment of persons suffering from long-lasting musculoskeletal disorders and mental health problems. Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT) is a physiotherapy approach within the movement awareness domain developed to bridge physical, mental, and relational health challenges. The purpose of this study was to reach a consensus on core phenomena and statements describing BBAT. A consensus-building process was conducted using the nominal group technique (NGT). Twenty-one BBAT experts from 10 European countries participated in a concentrated weekend workshop of 20 hours. All participants signed informed consent. Participants reached a consensus on 138 core phenomena, clustered in three overarching categories: clinical core, historical roots, and research and evaluation phenomena. Of the 106 clinical core phenomena, the participants agreed on three categories of phenomena: movement quality, movement awareness practice, and movement awareness therapy and pedagogy. Furthermore, the participants reached 100 percent consensus on 16 of 30 statements describing BBAT. This study provides a consensus on core phenomena and statements describing BBAT. The data reveal phenomena implemented when promoting movement quality through movement awareness. Data provide clarity in some aspects of the vocabulary as fundamental theory. Further reearch will be developed.

This review analyzes the existing studies on home care rehabilitation and physiotherapy in patients with a knee prosthesis intervention, identifying and synthesising the results of the interventions measured in terms of muscular strength, function, extension of the joint, walking, patient's quality of life and cost of the service, compared with other alternative treatments. Nine databases have been analysed: IME, ENFISPO, CUIDEN PLUS, PUBMED, EMBASE, CINAHL, PEDro, COCHRANE library Plus and TRIP DATA BASE where 18 studies met the criteria for inclusion with information on 4,996 patients. Home care rehabilitation varies from one place to another and between studies (forms of care, application, duration, variable measures); but the idea is supported that this is as effective and acceptable as that received in an outpatients' department. It accelerates the attainment of functional achievements in the short and medium term, entailing very brief hospital stays and a reduction in costs.
