[Carcinoid cardiopathy and cardiac metastases. Apropos of a case]. / Cardiopathie carcinoïde et métastases cardiaques. A propos d'un cas.

We present a case of carcinoid heart disease and cardiac metastases discovered during a myocardial infarction in a 64 years-old woman who was treated for carcinod of the thymus. The patient died eight months after the diagnosis and we present the result of the autopsy. From the study of this case we review the knowledge related to carcinoïd disease and those associated with cardiac metastases.

From the study of two cases of Steinert's disease in the same family, who have benefited by the implantation of pacemaker for troubles of conduction, we propose to make a review of the present knowledge related to this pathology with a particular emphasis on the cardiac symptomatology.
