RESUMO

In flowering plants, pollen development is a highly programmed process, in which a lot of genes are involved. In this study, a gene, designated as GhMYB24, encoding R2R3-MYB-like protein was isolated from cotton. GhMYB24 protein is localized in the cell nucleus and acts as a transcriptional activator. Northern blot analysis revealed that GhMYB24 transcripts were predominantly detected in anthers. It was further found that strong expression of GhMYB24 was mainly detected in pollen and was regulated during anther development by in situ hybridization. Overexpression of GhMYB24 in Arabidopsis caused flower malformation, shorter filaments, non-dehiscent anthers and fewer viable pollen grains. Further analysis revealed that the septum and stomium cells of anthers were not broken, and fewer fibrous bands were found in the endothecium cells in transgenic plants. A complementation test demonstrated that GhMYB24 was able to recover partially the male fertility of the myb21 myb24 double mutant. Expression levels of the genes involved in the phenylpropanoid biosynthetic pathway and reactive oxygen species homeostasis were altered in GhMYB24-overexpressing transgenic plants. Furthermore, the genes involved in jasmonate biosynthesis and its signaling pathway were up-regulated in the transgenic plants. Yeast two-hybrid assay indicated that GhMYB24 interacted with GhJAZ1/2 in cells. Taking the data together, our results suggest that GhMYB24 may play an important role in normal anther/pollen development.

RESUMO

Purpose: To analyze the key factors and decision-making behaviors affecting overall satisfaction based on perceptual data of outpatients. Methods: The official satisfaction questionnaire developed by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China was used. Rough set theory was used to identify the perception patterns between condition attributes (i.e., service factors) and a decision attribute (i.e., overall service level) and to express them in rule form (i.e., if-then). Results: The four minimal-coverage rules, with strength exceeding 10% in the good class, and six crucial condition attributes were obtained: "Ease of registration (C1)," "Respected by registered staff (C2)," "Registered staff's listening (C3)," "Respected by doctor (C9)," "Signpost (C12)," and "Privacy (C16)." In addition, the average hit rate for 5-fold cross-validation was 90.86%. Conclusions: A series of decision rules could help decision-makers easily understand outpatients' situations and propose more suitable programs for improving hospital service quality because these decision rules are based on actual outpatient experiences.

RESUMO

To assess the mental health of nurses and to find the post responsibility and psychological status of clinical nurses.A total of 447 nursing staff at different levels in a teaching hospital was assessed by nursing post responsibility scale and mental symptom checklist (SCL-90) then compared with each other. The study period was from April 1, 2018 to April 30, 2018.There was a positive correlation between the responsibility of post and interpersonal relationship (r = 0.11, P < .05), depression (r = 0.10, P < .05) and hostility (r = 0.10, P < .05). Post risk was negatively correlated with somatization (r = -0.10, P < .05), job involvement scope and communication ability were negatively correlated (r = -0.11, P < .05). Based on the multiple linear regression, knowledge and skills (ß = -0.20, P = .02) and risks of the post (ß=0.20, P < .01) both significantly related to SCL-90 total score. In conclusion, knowledge and skills and risks of the post associated with mental health of clinical nurses. The sustainable development of nursing post responsibility requires healthy physiological and mental health.

RESUMO

To explore the relationship between baseline information, personal factors, working characteristics and job performance among nurses in emergency department in northern Taiwan.Two-hundred twenty-two nursing staff were interviewed repeated with structured questionnaires for data collection in 3 time points (From August to September, 2008, from February to March, 2009, and from November to December, 2009). The generalized estimating equation (GEE) is used to test the relationship between the domains of independent variables (baseline information, personal factors, working characteristics) and dependent variables (task performance, contextual performance). The mean age of participants is 30.1 ±â€Š5.1 years. 50.0% are junior college or bachelor degrees. From the GEE model, biological protection (ß = 0.17, P value = .002) and safety climate (ß = 0.24, P value < .001) are significantly related to task performance. Contextual performance is strongly affected by safety climate (ß = 0.15, P value < .001).To improve the job performance among nurses in emergency department, it should consider personal psychological and environmental factors.
