RESUMO
The objective of the present study was to evaluate the influence of hormonal therapy used to correct the hormonal status of the pregnant women during different periods of gestation on the development of the nasal obstruction symptoms. A total of 53 case histories of the pregnant women (urban residents) were available for the analysis. In 2012, all the patients were under observation of an obstetrician-gyneciologist based at an outpatient setting. 16 of them (30.2%) suffered stuffness in the nose that was especially well pronounced during the II and III trimesters (37.5% in each trimester). Mild stuffness predominated over the moderate and strong ones (62.5, 18.75 and 18.75% respectively). The disturbed hormonal status was documented in 13 (81.75%) pregnant women in the form of reduced progesterone and human CG-beta levels and increased serum DHEA-C concentration. The hormonal status was corrected during the I and II trimesters. The women having very high serum DHEA-C concentration were treated with metypred; those with the low progesterone level were given utrogestan. In both groups, the diseases was especially well manifested in the early II trimester. It is conjectured that therapy with the use of progesterone and glucocorticoid-based preparations had no appreciable effect on the development of rhinitis in the pregnant women.

Comparative placebo-controlled study entrolled 647 patients with verified diagnosis of chronic virus hepatitis B (HBeAg+), not previously subjected to antiviral therapy (with nucleotide analogues or interferons). The drug under the investigation was cycloferon, an earlier interferon inductor. The antiviral combination therapy of the main group patients (323 subjects) included the use of cycloferon + lamivudine for 48 weeks and the therapy of the control group patients (324 subjects) included the use of lamivudine + placebo for 48 weeks. The cycloferon and lamividine combination antiviral therapy was shown preferable vs. the lamivudine + placebo therapy by biochemical remission, virusological response, seroconversion by HBeAg by the 48th week of the treatment and HBsAg clearance. The conbination therapy provided lower frequency of the relapses within 24 weeks of the observation. The higher efficacy of the antiviral combination therapy was evident of the impact of the antiviral activity of cycloferon itself and its immunomodulating and interferon-inducing activity on elimination of the virus-infected hepatocytes. The use of the 48-week course of the antiviral combination therapy is advisable as the prime treatment in the management of patients with HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis not previously treated with nucleoside analogues and as a variant of therapy for lamivudine-refractory patients.

Reamberin was shown to improve the efficacy of the treatment of acute intestinal infections caused by opportunistic bacteria. Its introduction into combined therapy accelerated normalization of the patients' general conditions, improved their well-being, eliminated syndrome of infectious toxicosis, diarrheic and abdominal pain syndromes, decreased duration of postinfectious asthenia, had beneficial effect on biochemical and immune parameters. Reamberin reduced the level of medium-sized molecules and malonic dialdehyde to the upper normal value which suggests elimination of endogenous "metabolic" intoxication syndrome, normalization of the level of circulating immune complexes and their fractional composition. The study showed that introduction of reamberin in combined therapy of acute intestinal infections is pathogenetically justified.

Efficiency of reamberin and cycloferon application combination at the patients with the heavy form of acute tonsillitis was investigated. It is set that cycloferon and reamberin application in the complex of treatment of the patients with this pathology is instrumental in normalization of the general state and feel of patients, liquidation of both commontoxic syndrome and local inflammatory displays in pharynx, and also normalization of the studied biochemical and immunological indexes. Application of cycloferon and reamberin provides the decline of "average molecules" and malon dialdehyde level to norm, that testifies about liquidation endogenous "metabolic" intoxication syndrome, and also instrumental in normalization of phagocytes activity of monocytes indexes, that describe normalize operating of the indicated preparation on the macrophage phagocytes system.

The clinical efficiency of a reamberin and cycloferon combination for the treatment of hepatic cirrhosis (HC) associated with chronic HCV infection has been studied. Immunological investigation of patients carried out before the treatment revealed a significant increase in the level of proinflammatory cytokines (CK) in serum, whereas the level of anti-inflammatory CK changed rather insignificantly. Use of the reamberin - cycloferon combination provided faster clinical-biochemical remission and, in respect of the pathogenetic state, ensured normalization of the CK profile in the blood. Based on these data, it can be considered as pathogenetically proved and clinically feasible and promising to use the reamberin - cycloferon combinations for a complex treatment of patients with HC associated with chronic HCV-infection.

AIM: To assess efficacy of combined immunocorrection in the treatment of patients with chronic viral hepatitis C (CVHC). MATERIAL AND METHODS: Routine clinicobiochemical tests, examination of immunological homeostasis (cellular immunity, the level of circulating immune complexes - CIC and their molecular composition, macrophagal phagocyting system - MPS) were made in two groups of CVHC patients: the study group (n=68) and control group (n=66). The control patients received standard treatment, the study group received also cyclopheron in combination with reamberin. Cyclopheron was given per os in a single daily dose 600 mg 2 days, then 3 times a week in a dose 150 mg for 48 weeks. Reamberin infusions in a single daily dose 400 ml were made for 5 - 7 days. RESULTS: CVHC in exacerbation phase is characterized by the presence of secondary immunodeficiency running with T-lymphopenia, low count of peripheral blood lymphocytes with CD4+ phenotype and low immunoregulatory index CD4/CD8, depression of functional activity of T-cells as evidenced by lymphocyte blast transformation test with phytohemagglutinin, inhibition of phagocyting activity of monocytes and inhibition of dermal macrophages. This shows subnormal functional activity of MPS. CVHC runs with accumulation of CIC in blood serum primarily due to increased content of most pathogenic mid- and low-molecular .ifactions of immune complexes. Addition ofcyclopheron and reamberin in combined treatment of CVHC patients promotes normalization of immunological homeostasis which clinically occurs in parallel with achievement of persistent and long-term CVHC remission. CONCLUSION: The results of the above investigation support pathogenetic validity and prospects of cyclopheron and reamberin inclusion into combined treatment of CVHC.

The use of reamberin and cycloferon combination for increasing the antibacterial therapy efficacy in patients with chronic sepsis (CS) was studied. It was shown that the combination provided more rapid elimination of the CS exacerbation symptoms, normalization of the hematologic indices, bacteriemia eradication and reduction of the cytokine blood profile--normal serum levels of proinflammatory (IL-1beta, IL-2, IL-6 and TNF-alpha) and antiinflammatory (IL-4) cytokines. The findings allowed to considered the use of the reamberin and cycloferon combination in the treatment of patients with CS pathogenetically reasonable and clinically perspective for increasing the antibacterial therapy efficacy.

There were examined 64 patients, suffering combined gastroduodenal ulcers. Subpopulations of lymphocytes, using monoclonal antibodies, were used to estimate the patients immune status. The investigation was performed in a dynamics: immediately after admittance to hospital, on the operation day and on the tenth postoperative day. In 33 patients (the main group) reamberin was applied in a complex of surgical treatment and in 31 (the comparison group)--the conventional medicinal preparations. In all the patients before the treatment conduction there were revealed the cell immunity chain disorders like in a secondary immune deficiency state (SIDS). The SIDS elimination and the immunological indices improvement were promoted by incorporation of reamberin in the complex of surgical treatment.

The cytokine profile of blood (CPB) at the patients with chronic sepsis (CS) streptococcus or mixed (by a streptococcus and to staphylococcus etiology) was studied. To beginning of the treatment at intensifying of CS at the patients was detected the substantial increase of maintenance of proinflammatory (IL - 1ß, IL - 2, IL - 6, TNF -α) cytokines (CÐ) in the blood serum at the moderate increase of antiinflammatory CK (IL-4). Thus, indexes, characterizing correlation pro- and antiinflammatory CÐ was rate, that testified to predominating of proinflammatory potencies of blood. Application in the complex treatment of the patients with CS combination of modern detoxic preparation reamberin and immunoactive preparation cycloferon promotes normalizations of CK maintenance in the blood and betweennesss by them. In a clinical plan the use of the reamberin and cycloferon combination provided acceleration of CS intensifying liquidation. Finding allow to consider pathogenetic reasonable and clinically perspective application of this preparations combination in treatment of the patients with CS.

The increase of severe cases of acute tonsillitis (AT) is presently marked. Severe cases of AT disturb immune and metabolic homoeostasis initiating the development of disease. Therapy optimization is required to select the best treatment. In patients with severe cases of AT of mixed viral/bacterial etiology before the treatment it is revealed the increase of general activity of lactatedehydrigenase (LDH) and increase of the level of cathode "anaerobic" factions LDH4+5 and the decline of concentration ATP in the blood. There was a compensatory rise of level of ADP and ÐÐP. The substantial decline of serum interferon (CIF) activity and diminishing maintenance of α-interferon (α-IFN) and γ-interferon (γ-IFN) in the blood of the patients, that testified to oppressing of interferonogenesis. Treatment of severe cases of AT of mixed viral/bacterial etiology of modern detoxic preparation reamberin and immunoactive preparation cycloferon combination positively influences the studied laboratory indexes. The improvement of power metabolism is marked, that was characterized by normalization of level adenine nucleotides (ATP, ÐDP, ÐÐP) and general activity of LDH and its izoenzimes spectrum. At the same time the increase of CIF level is set, maintenances α-IFN and γ-IFN in the blood, that testified to the improvement of interferonogenesis. The results demonstrate the therapeutic potential of reamberin and cycloferon combination for treatment of patients with AT of mixed viral/bacterial etiology.
