RESUMO

With the growing demand for individualization, production patterns in the garment industry now require variety and small-batch production, which has led to increasingly complicated tasks and rising workloads for sewing workers. In the present study, a new measurement method for sewing operation complexity is proposed. On this basis, the relation between sewing operation complexity and sewing operation quality is analyzed in depth. The results show that action complexity and cognitive complexity are significantly correlated with the fluctuation of sewing operation time and the rate of sewing defects. Further, there was no significant correlation between posture keeping complexity and the fluctuation of sewing operation time or between posture keeping complexity and sewing defect rate. The method proposed in this paper is helpful to better understand the complexity of sewing operations and provide theoretical guidance for quality control in sewing operations.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES: Pembrolizumab monotherapy showed significantly longer overall survival and fewer treatment-related adverse events compared to chemotherapy in patients with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1)-positive tumors in the first-line setting in KEYNOTE (KN)-024 and in those previously treated in KN010. The objective of this analysis was to assess the benefit-risk of pembrolizumab in terms of quality-adjusted survival amongst patients in these trials. METHODS: The Quality-adjusted Time Without Symptoms of disease progression or Toxicity of treatment (Q-TWiST) analysis was used to compare treatments. Survival time was partitioned into three health states: with toxicity before disease progression, without toxicity before disease progression, and disease progression until death. Health state utilities were estimated using EuroQol-5 Dimensions, 3 Levels (EQ-5D-3L) data collected in the trials. Q-TWiST was calculated as the utility-weighted sum of the mean health state durations. Trial data analyzed included the primary analysis and subsequent data cutoffs. The base-case analysis was based on the most recent analysis of the trials. RESULTS: Patients randomized to pembrolizumab had 2.49 months greater Q-TWiST (P value < 0.001) compared to those randomized to platinum-based chemotherapy at a follow-up of 24 months in KN024, and 2.29 months greater Q-TWiST (P value < 0.001) compared to docetaxel over 30 months follow-up in KN010. Results across the trial analyses showed an increase in trend for the Q-TWiST improvement of pembrolizumab over time. CONCLUSIONS: Pembrolizumab showed significant improvement in Q-TWiST compared to chemotherapy in advanced or metastatic NSCLC in both previously untreated and treated patients. The benefits of pembrolizumab continued to accrue with longer follow-ups.

RESUMO

Bcl-2 family proteins can be classified into two subfamilies--anti-apoptotic members and pro-apoptotic members. Mechanistically, these two subfamilies can antagonize each other through heterodimerization while homodimerization has been proposed for each subfamily to carry out their corresponding anti-apoptotic or pro-apoptotic functions. To date, many small-molecule antagonists against anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 proteins have been developed, which are monomeric modulators. In this study, a series of BH3I-1 based dimeric modulators were developed with structure-activity relationship explored. Dimeric modulators compared to the monomeric antagonists have enhanced binding activity against anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 proteins. In addition, the acidic functional group was demonstrated to be critical for the binding interaction of the small-molecule antagonists with anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 proteins. Finally, the representative dimeric modulator revealed enhanced activity in inducing cytochrome c release from mitochondria compared to its monomeric counterpart. Taken together, dimerization of monomeric modulators is one practical approach to enhance the bioactivity of Bcl-2 antagonists.

RESUMO

ABSTRACT Shop Scheduling is an important factor affecting the efficiency of production, efficient scheduling method and a research and application for optimization technology play an important role for manufacturing enterprises to improve production efficiency, reduce production costs and many other aspects. Existing studies have shown that improved genetic algorithm has solved the limitations that existed in the genetic algorithm, the objective function is able to meet customers' needs for shop scheduling, and the future research should focus on the combination of genetic algorithm with other optimized algorithms. In this paper, in order to overcome the shortcomings of early convergence of genetic algorithm and resolve local minimization problem in search process, aiming at mixed flow shop scheduling problem, an improved cyclic search genetic algorithm is put forward, and chromosome coding method and corresponding operation are given. The operation has the nature of inheriting the optimal individual ofthe previous generation and is able to avoid the emergence of local minimum, and cyclic and crossover operation and mutation operation can enhance the diversity of the population and then quickly get the optimal individual, and the effectiveness of the algorithm is validated. Experimental results show that the improved algorithm can well avoid the emergency of local minimum and is rapid in convergence.
