RESUMO

Osteosarcoma is a primary malignant bone tumor that affects children and young adults. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying osteosarcoma is critical to develop effective treatments. This study aimed to identify core genes and explore the role of intercellular communication in osteosarcoma. We used GSE87437 and GSE152048 dataset to conduct a weighted correlation network analysis (WGCNA) and identify co-expression modules. The enriched biological processes and cellular components of the genes in the steelblue module were analyzed. Next, we explored the expression, diagnostic value, correlation, and association with immune infiltrate of CCSER1 and LOC101929154. Finally, we utilized CIBERSORT algorithm to predict the infiltrated immune cells in osteosarcoma tissues. Our results identified 44 co-expression modules, and the steelblue module was mainly associated with axon development, axonogenesis, and innervation. CCSER1 and LOC101929154 were significantly upregulated in osteosarcoma tissues with poor response to preoperative chemotherapy. Moreover, the expressions of CCSER1 and LOC101929154 were positively correlated. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of CCSER1 and LOC101929154 was 0.800 and 0.773, respectively. The expression of CCSER1 was negatively correlated with follicular helper T cells and positively correlated with M0 macrophages, while LOC101929154 was negatively correlated with activated mast cells. Besides, CD4 memory-activated T cells were observed at lower levels in patients who responded well to chemotherapy. Our study identified core genes CCSER1 and LOC101929154 and provided insight into the intercellular communication profile in osteosarcoma. Our results suggested that targeting CCSER1, LOC101929154, and CD4 memory-activated T cells may be a promising strategy for the treatment of osteosarcoma.

RESUMO

This paper investigates the synchronization problem for a class of complex delayed dynamical networks by pinning periodically intermittent control. Based on a general model of complex delayed dynamical networks, using the Lyapunov stability theory and periodically intermittent control method, some simple criteria are derived for the synchronization of such dynamical networks. Furthermore, a Barabasi-Albert network consisting of coupled delayed Chua oscillators is finally given as an example to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

RESUMO

This paper studies the adaptive synchronization of a switching system with unknown parameters which switches between the Rössler system and a unified chaotic system. Using the Lyapunov stability theory and adaptive control method, the receiver system will achieve synchronization with the drive system and the unknown parameters would be estimated by the receiver. Then the proposed switching system is used for secure communications based on the communication schemes including chaotic masking, chaotic modulation, and chaotic shift key strategies. Since the system switches between two chaotic systems and the parameters are almost unknown, it is more difficult for the intruder to extract the useful message from the transmission channel. In addition, two new schemes in which the chaotic signal used to mask (or modulate) the transmitted signal switches between two components of a chaotic system are also presented. Finally, some simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed communication schemes.

RESUMO

This paper is concerned with the sampled-data-based consensus problem of heterogeneous multiagent systems under directed graph topology with communication failure. The heterogeneous multiagent system consists of first-order and second-order integrators. Consensus of the heterogeneous multiagent system may not be guaranteed if the communication failure always happens. However, if the frequency and the length of the communication failure satisfy certain conditions, consensus of the considered system can be reached. In particular, we introduce the concepts of communication failure frequency and communication failure length. Then, with the help of the switching technique and the Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which guarantees that the heterogeneous multiagent system not only achieves consensus but also maintains a desired L2 -gain performance. A simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method in this paper.
