ABSTRACT
In a recent issue of Nature, Melenhorst et al. perform an extensive analysis of CARcells that persist for ten years in CLL patients. They find a dominant cytotoxic CD4+ population, raising the possibility that CD4+ T cells play an important role in durable CARcell therapy.
