RESUMEN

The role of Campylobacter pylori (CP) in the development of chronic gastritis and ulcero-erosive lesions in 76 patients with liver cirrhosis of various etiology is studied. The incidence of CP bacteriosis in liver cirrhosis was 47.3% and the incidence of CP detection by bacteriological methods was not dependent on the cirrhosis etiology. The incidence of CP detection depended on the chronic gastritis activity and the presence of ulcero-erosive lesions. Hypochlorhydria is one of the important factors favouring CP colonization in liver cirrhosis. DE-NOL can be recommended for the treatment of chronic active gastritis and ulcero-erosive lesions.

RESUMEN

475 patients with stomach ulcer (1984-1993) were studied using various methods: endoscopical, immunological, biochemical, bacteriological and morphological. Morphology of exacerbation and type of reparative processes in normal scarring and torpid course of disease are presented. Under adequate regeneration there is an activation of immune system, first that of T-cell compartment. Torpid course is characterized by a grave regeneration disturbance and depression of the immune system. The interpretation of the so-called "red scar" is given: it reflects different stages of the epithelial regeneration, however in 4.8% of duodenal ulcers and in 11.2% of stomach ulcers it masks a torpid course. Helicobacter pylori has no influence on the reparative processes. Adequately chosen therapy improves and accelerates ulcer scarring.

RESUMEN

The paper presents the analysis of examination and treatment data on 80 patients with long-healing gastric ulcer (12 weeks or longer), of contributing factors (sex, age, ulcer site and size, smoking, alcohol abuse, associated diseases), of changes in the antral and fundal gastric mucosa as well as in immune system, of conservative treatment results.
