The disease coronavirus COVID-19 has been the cause of millions of deaths worldwide. Among the proteins of SARS-CoV-2, non-structural protein 12 (NSP12) plays a key role during COVID infection and is part of the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase complex. The monitoring of NSP12 polymorphisms is extremely important for the design of new antiviral drugs and monitoring of viral evolution. This study analyzed the NSP12 mutations detected in circulating SARS-CoV-2 during the years 2020 to 2022 in the population of the city of Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. The most frequent mutations found were P323L and G671S. Reports in the literature indicate that these mutations are related to transmissibility efficiency, which may have contributed to the extremely high numbers of cases in this location. In addition, two mutations described here (E796D and R914K) are close and have RMSD that is similar to the mutations M794V and N911K, which have been described in the literature as influential on the performance of the NSP12 enzyme. These data demonstrate the need to monitor the emergence of new mutations in NSP12 in order to better understand their consequences for the treatments currently used and in the design of new drugs.

BACKGROUND: Tarenaya spinosa is a medicinal species used for treating respiratory and inflammatory diseases. Various biotechnological studies have been developed for in vitro establishment of plants and long-term conservation of this species. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to establish a new cryopreservation protocol using the D cryo-plate technique for in vitro-grown shoot tips of T. spinosa. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Different steps of the cryopreservation procedure were evaluated in this work: preculture; sucrose concentration of calcium alginate gel; concentration and time of exposure to osmoprotective loading solution; time of exposure to silica gel; and regrowth on recovery medium. RESULTS: The optimal procedure included preculture with increasing sucrose concentration (from 0.25 to 0.50 M), encapsulation and dehydration over silica-gel for 60 min. Increasing sucrose concentration in the loading solution or exposure duration had a negative effect on recovery of cryopreserved shoot tips. However, the association of calcium alginate gel enriched with 0.6 M sucrose with post-rewarming culture with BAP for 2 weeks resulted in the most efficient cryopreservation protocol (76% survival and 70% shoot recovery). CONCLUSION: The plants developed after cryopreservation maintained their in vitro multiplication capacity and demonstrated the efficiency of long-term conservation by D cryo-plate technique for T. spinosa. The exploration of unconventional hydrocarbons may be very effective in promoting economic development and confronting energy crisis around the world. However, the environmental risks associated with this practice might be an impediment if not adequately dimensioned. In this context, naturally occurring radioactive materials and ionizing radiation are sensitive aspects in the unconventional gas industry that may compromise the environmental sustainability of gas production and they should be properly monitored. This paper provides a radioecological assessment of the São Francisco Basin (Brazil) as part of an environmental baseline evaluation regarding the Brazilian potential for exploring its unconventional gas reserves. Eleven and thirteen samples of surface waters and groundwater were analyzed for gross alpha and beta using a gas flow proportional counter. A radiological background range was proposed using the ± 2 Median Absolute Deviation method. Using geoprocessing tools, the annual equivalent doses and lifetime cancer risk indexes were spatialized. Gross alpha and beta background thresholds in surface water ranged from 0.04-0.40 Bq L-1 to 0.17-0.46 Bq L-, respectively. Groundwater radiological background varies from 0.006-0.81 Bq L-1 to 0.06-0.72 Bq L-1 for gross alpha and beta, respectively. All environmental indexes are relatively higher in the south of the basin, probably a direct response to the local volcanic formations. Traçadal fault and local gas seepages might also influence the gross alpha and beta distribution. All samples have radiological indexes below the environmental thresholds, and should remain at acceptable levels with the development of the unconventional gas industry in Brazil.

The mechanisms that drive systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients to achieve remission are unknown; one possible explanation might be T cell exhaustion. The aim of the present study was to measure CD4+ and CD8+ T cell exhaustion in SLE patients in prolonged remission (PR-SLE) and compared them with patients with active SLE (Act-SLE) and healthy subjects. We included 15 PR-SLE patients, 15 Act-SLE and 29 healthy subjects. T cell exhaustion was determined by flow cytometry according to the expression of programmed cell death 1 (PD)-1, T cell immunoglobulin and mucin 3 (Tim-3), natural killer cell receptor (2B4), eomesodermin (EOMES) and T-box transcription factor TBX21 (T-bet) in CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. Dimensionality reduction using the T-distributed stochastic neighbor-embedding algorithm and clustering analysis was used for the identification of relevant populations. Percentages of CD3+ , CD4+ and CD8+ T cells were similar among groups. We identified five subpopulations of CD8+ and seven of CD4+ cells. The CD4+ T-bet+ CD45RO+ cells identified in the unsupervised analysis were significantly increased in PR-SLE versus Act-SLE [median = 0·20, interquartile range (IQR) = 1·74-30·50 versus 1·68, IQR = 0·4-2·83; P < 0·01]. CD4+ EOMES+ cells were also increased in PR-SLE versus Act-SLE (5·24, IQR = 3·38-14·70 versus 1·39, IQR = 0·48-2·87; P < 0·001). CD8+ EOMES+ cells were increased in PR-SLE versus Act-SLE (37·6, IQR = 24·9-53·2 versus 8·13, IQR = 2·33-20·5; P < 0·001). Exhausted and activated T cells presented an increased frequency of PD-1, CD57 and EOMES in SLE patients versus healthy subjects. Some subpopulations of T cells expressing markers associated with exhaustion are increased in patients in remission, supporting T cell exhaustion as a tolerance mechanism in SLE. Exhaustion of specific populations of T cells might represent a potential therapeutic tool that will contribute to the goal of achieving sustained remission in these patients.

BACKGROUND AND AIM: High dose brachytherapy using a non sealed 188Re-resin (Rhenium-SCT®, Oncobeta® GmbH, Munich, Germany) is a treatment option for non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC). The aim of this prospective study was to assess the efficacy and the safety of a single application of Rhenium-SCT® in NMSC. MATERIALS AND METHOD: Fifty consecutive patients (15F, 35 M, range of age 56-97, mean 81) showing 60 histologically proven NMSCs were enrolled and treated with the Rhenium-SCT® between October 2017 and January 2020. Lesions were located on the face, ears, nose or scalp (n = 46), extremities (n = 9), and trunk (n = 5). Mean surface areas were 7.0 cm2 (1-36 cm2), mean thickness invasion was 1.1 mm (0.2-2.5 mm), and mean treatment time was 79 min (21-85 min). Superficial, mean, and target absorbed dose were 185 Gy, 63 Gy, and 31 Gy respectively. Patients were followed-up at 14, 30, 60, 90, and 180 days posttreatment, when dermoscopy and biopsy were performed. Mean follow-up was 20 months (range 3-33 months). Early skin toxicity was classified according to Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE). Cosmetic results were evaluated after at least 12 months according to Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) scale. RESULTS: At 6 months follow-up, histology and dermoscopy were available for 54/60 lesions, of which 53/54 (98%) completely responded. One patient showed a 1-cm2 residual lesion that was subsequently surgically excised. Twelve months after treatment, 41/41 evaluable lesions were free from relapse. Twenty four months after treatment, 23/24 evaluable lesions were free of relapse. In 56/60 lesions early side effects, resolving within 32 days were classified as grades 1-2 (CTCAE). In the remaining 4/60 lesions, these findings were classified as grade 3 (CTCAE) and lasted up to 8-12 weeks but all resolved within 90 days. After at least 12 months (12-33 months), cosmetic results were excellent (30 lesions) or good (11 lesions). CONCLUSION: High dose brachytherapy with Rhenium-SCT® is a noninvasive, reasonably safe, easy to perform, effective and well-tolerated approach to treat NMSCs, and it seems to be a useful alternative option when surgery or radiation therapy are difficult to perform or not recommended. In our population 98% of the treated lesions resolved completely after a single application and only one relapsed after 2 years. Larger patients' population and longer follow-up are needed to confirm these preliminary data and to find the optimal dose to administer in order to achieve complete response without significant side effects.

1. The effect of microencapsulated and uncoated butyric acid as an alternative to antibiotics on performance, intestinal morphology and regeneration of intestinal mucosa was studied in birds experimentally infected with Eimeria spp. 1 to 42 d-old.2. A total of 1,320 male Cobb® broiler chicks were allocated to one of five treatments in a completely randomised design, comprising a negative control, uncoated butyric acid (UA), microencapsulated butyric acid (MA), combined U + M butyric acid and a positive control (antibiotic+anticoccidial) in six replications. At 16 d-old, the birds were inoculated orally with 0.5 ml of a solution containing an Eimeria spp. pool.3. At 21 d of age, the birds receiving butyric acid alone had higher body weight gain (BWG) and feed intake (FI) compared to those supplemented with the blend of acids. For the total rearing period, in all variables, the positive control performed best (P < 0.001).4. At 14 d of age, birds that received diets containing UA had a deeper crypt depth in the jejunum than those fed diets containing microencapsulated acid (P = 0.0194). At 21 d of age, the birds fed the acids had higher villi (P = 0.0058) in the duodenum, compared to the negative control group.5. Supplementation with microencapsulated acid contributed to the intestinal health and recovery of post-challenge birds, but did not result in improvements in performance.

1. The effect of A. subrufescens and P. ostreatus mushrooms as an alternative to antibiotics (avilamycin or monensin sodium) on performance, intestinal morphometry, immunity, and biochemical profile of broilers challenged with Eimeria spp. was studied from 1 to 42 d old. A total of 900 male Cobb® broiler chicks were distributed, according to a completely randomised design, into five treatments with six replicates each.2. The treatments consisted of: negative control (NC) - basal diet (BD) with no anticoccidial or antibiotic (non-challenged birds); negative control challenged (NCC) - NC fed to Eimeria spp. challenged birds; BD with 0.2% A. subrufescens inclusion for challenged birds (As), BD with 0.2% P. ostreatus inclusion for challenged birds (Po); and a positive control - BD with anticoccidial and antibiotic inclusion for challenged birds (ATB).3. At 11 d.o., the birds were each inoculated orally with 1 ml solution containing 2 × 105 sporulated oocysts/ml Eimeria acervulina and 2 × 104 sporulated oocysts/ml E. maxima and E. tenella.4. Birds subjected to Eimeria spp. challenge up to 21 d of age had greater crypt depth, indicating that the presence of undesirable microorganisms had an effect on cell proliferation.5. At 21 d old, the birds receiving ATB had higher average weight gain (AWG), feed intake (AFI), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) compared to those fed diets supplemented with mushrooms (As or Po). For the total rearing period (42 days), the birds that received ATB had higher AWG and AFI (P < 0.001) compared to those that received As or Po diets. Feeding avilamycin did not affect (P = 0.0676) FCR compared to the As or Po diet groups.6. From the morphometric and blood analyses there were no differences between broilers fed ATB, Po or As diets in either rearing periods. However, Po and As supplementation lowered blood triglyceride levels. At 21d there was a difference (P < 0.05) for MCV and haemoglobin, in which the mushrooms were similar to the antibiotic. At 42 d, there was a difference (P < 0.05) in haematocrit, erythrocyte, MCV, H: L, protein and albumin variables, in which the use of mushrooms was similar to the positive control, demonstrating that both (mushrooms and antibiotics) promoted a certain improvement in the health of the chickens.7. A. subrufescens and P. ostreatus can be used in broiler diets without compromising intestinal or haematological status, however, these ingredients did not result in improvements in performance.

An essential component of future quantum networks is an optical switch capable of dynamically routing single photons. Here we implement such a switch, based on a fiber-optical Sagnac interferometer design. The routing is implemented with a pair of fast electro-optical telecom phase modulators placed inside the Sagnac loop, such that each modulator acts on an orthogonal polarization component of the single photons, in order to yield polarization-independent capability that is crucial for several applications. We obtain an average extinction ratio of more than 19 dB between both outputs of the switch. Our experiment is built exclusively with commercial off-the-shelf components, thus allowing direct compatibility with current optical communication systems.

The present study was developed to characterize, at the species level, 34 strains of Aeromonas spp., previously isolated from stressed tambaqui fish (Colossoma macropomum), to elucidate virulence factors, as well as their antibiotic resistance profile. Amplification of the gyrB gene identified the strains as A. hydrophila, A. dhakensis, A. caviae, A. veronii and A. jandaei. Bacterial virulence was evaluated by enzymatic assays for phenotypical production of hemolysins, proteases and lipases followed by the search for genes codifying the enzymes ß-hemolysin, serine protease and lipase. Phenotypical production of virulence factors was diversified and proteolytic activity demonstrated to be a common expression among the strains. On the other hand, the lip gene encoding extracellular lipase was the most expressed. Furthermore, A. hydrophila was the most prevalent species isolated from tambaqui in our work.

Entangled photons produced by spontaneous parametric down-conversion have been of paramount importance for our current understanding of quantum mechanics and advances in quantum information. In this process, the quantum correlations of the down-converted photons are governed by the optical properties of the pump beam illuminating the nonlinear crystal. Extensively, the pump beam has been modeled by either coherent beams or by the well-known Gaussian-Schell model, which leads to the natural conclusion that a high degree of optical coherence is required for the generation of highly entangled states. Here, we show that when a novel class of partially coherent Gaussian pump beams is considered, a distinct type of quantum state can be generated for which the amount of entanglement increases inversely with the degree of coherence of the pump beam. This leads to highly incoherent yet highly entangled multiphoton states, which should have interesting consequences for photonic quantum information science.

The recurrence analysis of dynamic systems has been studied since Poincaré's seminal work. Since then, several approaches have been developed to study recurrence properties in nonlinear dynamical systems. In this work, we study the recently developed entropy of recurrence microstates. We propose a new quantifier, the maximum entropy (Smax). The new concept uses the diversity of microstates of the recurrence plot and is able to set automatically the optimum recurrence neighborhood (ϵ-vicinity), turning the analysis free of the vicinity parameter. In addition, ϵ turns out to be a novel quantifier of dynamical properties itself. We apply Smax and the optimum ϵ to deterministic and stochastic systems. The Smax quantifier has a higher correlation with the Lyapunov exponent and, since it is a parameter-free measure, a more useful recurrence quantifier of time series.

INTRODUCTION: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most lethal form of gliomas. New therapies are currently in development to tackle treatment limitations such as chemotherapy resistance. One mechanism of resistance may be the stress granules (SG) assembly, a stress-related cellular response that allows cells to recruit and protect mRNAs during stress. SG are composed of various proteins, being G3BP1 a core element that enucleates and results in SG assembly. Here, we aimed to evaluate the effects of inhibiting the G3PB1 expression in the chemotherapeutical-induced cell death of the U87 glioblastoma cell line. MATERIALS AND METHODS: G3BP1 mRNA and protein expression were modulated with short-interference RNA (siRNA). The viability of U87 cells after Bortezomib (BZM), a proteasome inhibitor, and Temozolomide (TMZ), an alkylating agent, was assessed by MTT assay. Apoptosis was evaluated by staining cells with Annexin-V/7-AAD and analyzing by flow cytometry. Caspase-3 activation was evaluated by immunoblotting. The chorioallantoic membrane in vivo assay was used to evaluate angiogenesis. RESULTS: When G3BP1 was knocked-down, the SG assembly was reduced and the BZM-treated cells, but not TMZ-treated cells, had a significant increase in the apoptotic response. Corroborating this data, we observed increased Caspase-3 activation in the BZM-treated and G3BP1-knocked-down cells when compared to vehicle-treated and scramble-transfected cells. Worth mentioning, the conditioned culture medium of G3BP1-knocked-down BZM-treated cells inhibited angiogenesis when compared to controls. CONCLUSION: Our data suggest G3BP1 knockdown diminishes SG formation and stimulates BZM-induced apoptosis of U87 cells in vitro, in addition to inhibiting glioblastoma-induced angiogenesis in vivo.

AIMS: The aim of this study was to find new eukaryotic sources of the l-asparaginase (l-ASNase), since the prokaryotic sources of the enzyme are well-reported as causing allergic hypersensitivity reactions in a significant number of patients. This report describes screening for l-ASNase production by filamentous fungi isolated from the Brazilian Caatinga, and the optimization of fermentation parameters to increase fungal growth and improve yield in the production of l-ASNase. METHODS AND RESULTS: Thirty-two filamentous fungi were investigated in this study. When Aspergillus terreus strain S-18 was cultured in a proline-enriched medium, intracellular l-ASNase was expressed in concurrence with reduced l-glutaminase (l-GLUase) and protease activities. Fermentation conditions were then optimized in a 5-l bioreactor system to produce a maximum volumetric yield of 108 U total of l-ASNase activity. CONCLUSIONS: The work reported here represents the first attempt to produce l-ASNase by filamentous fungi isolated from Brazil and offers a promising alternative eukaryotic source for l-ASNase production. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: In order to minimize the side effects caused by bacterial l-ASNase, the search of eukaryotic micro-organism for l-ASNase was carried out in fungi. This study demonstrates the diversity of filamentous fungi isolated from the Brazilian Caatinga Biome and the importance of knowledge of the microbial metabolism to obtain high concentrations of biotechnological products.

This clinical study evaluated the early effect of oral rehabilitation with dental implants and nocturnal bruxism on maximum occlusal force (MOF), before sensorimotor adaptation. A consecutive sample consisted of 127 patients divided into three groups according to their dental state: G1- implant-supported fixed complete denture (IFCD) opposing to a small fixed prosthesis or natural dentition; G2- IFCD opposing to a complete denture; and G3- small fixed prosthesis or natural dentition in both arches. Clinical data were collected after prosthesis installation: systemic and oral health conditions, MOF, self-reported bruxism, and bruxism severity (low, moderate, severe). Data were analysed by ANOVA and Tukey-Krammer tests. Dental state and the interaction sex-bruxism had significant effect on MOF. G1 had higher MOF than G3, but G2 was not significantly different from G1 and G3. Men with bruxism had the highest MOF. The levels of bruxism severity did not have a significant effect on MOF. The results suggest that MOF varies as a function of dental state and the interaction sex-bruxism. However, presence and severity of bruxism alone does not affect MOF.

We report on a new technique for entanglement distillation of the bipartite continuous variable state of spatially correlated photons generated in the spontaneous parametric down-conversion process (SPDC), where tunable non-Gaussian operations are implemented and the post-processed entanglement is certified in real-time using a single-photon sensitive electron multiplying CCD (EMCCD) camera. The local operations are performed using non-Gaussian filters modulated into a programmable spatial light modulator and, by using the EMCCD camera for actively recording the probability distributions of the twin-photons, one has fine control of the Schmidt number of the distilled state. We show that even simple non-Gaussian filters can be finely tuned to a ∼67% net gain of the initial entanglement generated in the SPDC process.

In this randomized double-blind placebo-controlled 24-week trial, cholecalciferol supplementation at 50,000 IU/week effectively improved bone microarchitecture parameters in juvenile-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (JoSLE) patients, as assessed by high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT) at tibia site. An increase in the trabecular number and a decrease in the trabecular separation were observed, suggesting that vitamin D supplementation may be recommended for JoSLE patients with its deficiency. INTRODUCTION: Vitamin D has an important effect on bone but there are no trials that directly address the boosting of serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25OHD) in bone microarchitecture in JoSLE patients. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of vitamin D supplementation on bone microarchitecture parameters using HR-pQCT in JoSLE patients. METHODS: This study was a randomized double-blind placebo-controlled 24-week trial. Forty female JoSLE patients were randomized (1:1) to receive oral cholecalciferol at 50,000 IU/week (JoSLE-VitD) or placebo (JoSLE-PL). The medications remained stable throughout the study. Serum levels of 25OHD were measured using a radioimmunoassay. The bone microarchitecture and volumetric bone density were analyzed using HR-pQCT at tibia site. RESULTS: At baseline, the groups were similar with respect to their age, body mass index, organ involvement, glucocorticoid dose, immunosuppressant use, serum 25OHD levels, and HR-pQCT parameters. After 24 weeks, higher 25OHD levels were observed in the JoSLE-VitD group compared to the JoSLE-PL group [31.3 (8.6) vs. 16.5 (5.8) ng/mL, p < 0.001]. An increase in the trabecular number [∆Tb.N 0.16 (0.24) vs. 0.03 (0.19) 1/mm, p = 0.024] and a decrease in the trabecular separation [∆ThSp -0.045 (0.067) vs. 0.001 (0.009) mm, p = 0.017] were found in the JoSLE-VitD group compared to the JoSLE-PL group at tibia site. No differences were observed in other structural parameters [trabecular (Tb.Th) or cortical thickness (Ct.Th)], volumetric bone mineral densities, cortical porosity, and biomechanical parameters (p > 0.05). CONCLUSION: This study suggests that cholecalciferol supplementation for 24 weeks effectively improved the bone microarchitecture parameters, mainly the trabecular number, in JoSLE patients. AIMS: A new L-asparaginase produced by Streptomyces ansochromogenes UFPEDA 3420 actinobacteria was used in this study against human lymphocyte cultures to evaluate the immunological profile induced by this enzyme. METHODS AND RESULTS: Cultures of lymphocytes were stimulated with S. ansochromogenes L-asparaginase, and cytotoxicity, cell viability, cell stimulation and cytokine production were analysed. This new S. ansochromogenes L-asparaginase induced activation and proliferation of the TCD8+ lymphocyte subset and produced higher TNF-α, IFN-γ, IL-2 and IL-10 levels in a 24-h assay. CONCLUSION: Streptomyces ansochromogenes L-asparaginase is a promising molecule to be used in in vivo models and to deepen preclinical tests against acute lymphoblast leukaemia. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF STUDY: L-asparaginase is an indispensable component of the chemotherapeutic treatment of acute lymphoblast leukaemia (ALL) and acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). Currently, drugs such as Asparaginase® , Kidrolase® , and Elspar® and Erwinase® are efficient against leukemic disease, but promote immunosuppression and other side effects in human organisms. Our purified S. ansochromogenes L-asparaginase showed promissory results inducing, in vitro, higher immunostimulation in human PBMC, especially in T CD8+ lymphocyte subsets.

Zymomonas mobilis has long attracted attention owing to its capacity to ferment hexose to ethanol. From a taxonomic viewpoint, Z. mobilis is a unique species of the genus Zymomonas, separated into three subspecies, Z. mobilis subsp. mobilis, Z. mobilis subsp. pomaceae and Z. mobilis subsp. francensis on the basis of physiological tests, which are often unreliable owing to the genetic proximity among these species. Currently, the use of molecular techniques is more appropriate for identification of these bacterial subspecies. In this study, the 32 strains of Z. mobilis present in the UFPEDA bacterial collection were characterized using molecular techniques, such as sequencing of the 16S rDNA gene and its theoretical restriction profile, classifying them as members of the subspecies, Z. mobilis subsp. mobilis. In addition, anaerobic cultivations were performed, which showed the biological diversity of the strains in terms of growth, sugar consumption and ethanol production. From these results, it was possible to identify the strain Z-2-80 as a promising bacterium for use in the fermentation process. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: Zymomonas mobilis is a bacterium of great relevance to biotechnology, owing to its capacity to ferment hexose to ethanol. On a molecular basis, 32 isolates were identified as Z. mobilis subsp. mobilis. However, intraspecific diversity was identified when these were grown under strictly anaerobic conditions. The results obtained from this study suggest a strain of Z. mobilis as an alternative for use in the fermentation process.

The aim was to verify the effect of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) supplementation to α-MEM+ or TCM199+ media on the in vitro development of ovarian preantral follicles (PFs) derived from collared peccaries. Ovaries (n = 5 pairs) were collected and divided into fragments destined to control group (non-cultured) or treatments that were cultured for 7 days. The PFs morphology, growth and activation were evaluated by classical histology. The immunohistochemistry markers Ag-NOR and PCNA were used for nuclear proliferation analysis, and the picrosirius red labelling was used for ovarian extracellular matrix (ECM) evaluation. After 7-day culture, only the TCM199+ treatment maintained the proportion of intact PFs similar to day 1 (63.2%), but no differences were found among treatments (p > .05). In addition, a significant increase in the growing follicles proportion was verified for all the treatments, indicating follicular activation (p > .05). By the Ag-NOR analysis, only the TCM199+/FSH maintained the nuclear proliferation similar to the first day (p > .05). The picrosirius red staining revealed that the ECM remained intact in all the treatments (p > .05). We suggest the use of TCM199+ medium supplemented of FSH for the in vitro development of peccaries PFs under 7-day culturing conditions.
